He is a broken man. He has lost everything he cares about and since then lacked the ability to express care for anyone. Even the people grew to love. He became cold and ruthless to survive and never let that part of him go. Terry isn’t broken but just down right vicious. He is willing to do whatever it takes to win and has shed all of his attachments to do so.
