When you’re viewing players in the transfer portal, notice where it shows the dealbreakers, if you right stick over a couple of times you can see the players abilities without even having to scout them. Gives you a little more insight on who you might want to recruit.
Your channel is going to blow up. You're the main guy I go to for information on CF25. I've gotten better at recruiting and I'm having fun with it. I was testing out Alabama in dynasty and there was a 5 star player, left tackle I was going after. The thing was the Oklahoma Sooners were his number 1 interest and we were number 2. On the interest scale I could see how close we was to committing to them. Well, we were actually playing them the next game and we beat them. Once we beat them that player then committed straight to us. I sat there and said that was pretty cool.
Just want to say thanks from across the pond. I'm 42 and always loved NFL but this game has got me hooked into college football and you've played a major factor into that by helping me understand the recruiting process side of things to make the game even more enjoyable. Hey, your videos have been super helpful. One note on visits: I’ve found that I’ve locked in more transfers by scheduling visits early IF they have a dealbreaker. Because the visit focuses on one thing, you can just focus the visit on their deal breaker. This can either get them signed earlier or help with the influence. Keep up the great work!
First of all, LOVING the content so far you’ve made a game that seems pretty sophisticated and, at times, overwhelming; easy to understand and fun to play! Getting in to this game, I did not think I would like recruiting based on how complicated it is but you’ve made it doable even for me! (I auto-scout in any other sports game I play lol) but just a quick note on filling your recruiting class with 1 or 2 stars to boost your class ranking.. keep in mind those 1 or 2 star players will have to be on your roster for at least a year as the “encourage transfer” feature does not work on True Freshman or transfers year 1. So they may take up a spot and you may have to cut someone that would otherwise be playable on your team if you are over the player cap. Just FYI. And keep up the great work!!
The transfer portal isn't what I thought it would be before the game came out it's cool and all but I only get about 2 to 4 top tier players who are interested. Don't get me wrong I currently have 2 players starting who came from the portal but I assumed I would get a lot more interested players idk 🤷🏿♂️
One thing to consider during offseason, I had a 4 star recruit who had Georgia at 1. I remember they had the #1 recruiting class. So I went to look and they were at the max of players signed. So I offered and got him since Georgia could not sign him anymore.
on the topic of visits towards the end, i think this massively depends on the situation. for me ive been doing a USC dynasty as a recruiter build, so by the time I get to the portal I normally only have 3-5 spots left to make offers. with this I have an excess of hours to scout and influence with (i think around 1000) so using the extra hours I schedule visits using the dealbreakers we can see before even getting a single interest known on the main recruiting screen where we determine what pitch to use. for me anecdotally it has been very successful. there is no game bonus but from what I have been noticing I believe it does add influence. basically if there's a transfer you really want, I think scheduling a visit the first week of the portal is the move! if anyone tests this out and I end up being wrong, feel free to let me know!. I will test this out the next time I am in the offseason and will try to remember to respond with an update! ps love the content lately man just subbed a few days ago and have binged all the videos! keep up the excellent work bro!!!

@@FendlerYT wanted to come back and update. just did my portal offseason recruiting and I can confirm the visits seem to have little to no impact. the only thing I saw was actually a negative impact for a competitive visit with two DE's. so maaaybe there could be a benefit if you bring complimentary visits? didn't have anyone I could try it on this offseason as my portal options/scholarship spaces were limited, but that could be the only potential benefit from I'm seeing

Just an FYI, Ian House… I’ve left guys like this on my board for lack of prospects and not allocated hours because I thought I’d lose em. Next week looked and the others had revoked scholarships, like 3 of 5 and no one spent hours, gave him a FAF 25 hours and signed him 2 weeks later 7:26

@@FendlerYT by the end of the vid you had 31 on the board, wouldn’t hurt to leave the 2 you revoked. Think of it this way, when you remove them from your prospect board and re add them they need a new scholarship offer, same goes for the teams above you or below you. It’s worth leaving them for 1 week to watch the progress especially if you’ve put any hours into them previously
I’ve definitely seen this too, although a good chunk of the time by the next week a couple different top schools rush in, as if the Georgia offer scared off Bama but them UGA leaves and Bama and Florida come rushing in
@@adamseidel9780 this exactly 👍 I’ve full sent a dude I was trailing Georgia after early signing and when I got to offseason and full sent him, I think they found a guy in the transfer portal and had to fix their board cuz they can only talk to 35 and the big schools have very limited scholarships left during these stages. After advance they revoked and I was the only one left in the game for the 3 star gym 6’4 210 wr with 97 speed true freshman
@@adamseidel9780 on the flip, they have unlimited hours because they need only 5-6 guys so if they go at a guy you automatically lose every time. I have wasted hours this way as well so it is a gamble but early in a rebuild guys like this change small programs. I play as New Mexico Lobos and they have nothing close to this type talent before your first class walks in.

Im having an issue in my online Dynasty where I cannot recruit anyone good out of the transfer portal due to deal breakers. I get I wont be able to get everyone, but even the recruits that I meet their deal breaker requirements, I was still locked out due to deal breaker. WTF. How can I fix this bug??
How do transfers overall stack up against incoming freshman of the same star rating? Are transfers better? Is like were freshman they were a 3 star? Or that they are comparable to a 3star?
Recruiting ranking bug after transfer portal signings. I went from #3 class to #13 after portal season by signing 3 extra 4 stars and 2, 3 starts. Only class outside the top 7 with 2, 5 stars signed!
@@FendlerYT I think that was it but seems harsh for two 3 star transfers. 4 stars couldn’t hurt that much. I just did not sign transfers the following year so I could unlock elite recruiter
Did your class rating go down or did other schools surpass you during that period. In my online dynasty with friends I always surpass them during the off-season recruiting when I continue recruiting and they are content with their 20-25 guys
@@FendlerYT So I test simmed the next season and went undefeated again (on purpose). This time my program increased half a star. The only big difference was my recruiting class went from 42nd the year before to 11th.
My past go at the transfer portal I literally had no access to 3 and 4 stars players. My app state dynasty is 4.5 stars now. Why did this happen? And my recruiting class had plenty of room

Recruiting is easy yal might have to start over I got 20 5⭐️bt it has alot to do with your head coach turn coach firing off u will building them nd they will leave eventually I schedule visits on the 3rd or 4th week make recruiter only 5⭐️ for the first 3 or 4 weeks u if u make a target list of bout 18 -20 5⭐️ in the off season ull start with 1000 points that’s enough to put 50 on everybody might have to take it to 55 or 60 more ur points around -5 or -10 depends on how far down u are on they list ima drop my coach perks im not RUclipsr bt im the goat i get 16-19 5 ⭐️ every year u have to have a power 5 school for this to work

Even when looking at “player card” in the view roster section, it doesn’t even show anything under “awards” even though I had people who won awards. I’m just kinda disappointed. lol

One thing I've found good success with is the search feature at the bottom. You can see if your school is in top 8,5,3 or top school on their list

Setting visits based on their dealbreaker has helped secure first week commitments quite a bit for me 🍻

Can you change a players position back if you don’t like the stats when you do it the first time ?

Don’t even need tips lol recruiting is so easy in this game…took a team builder team from 55 overall to 75 in one season smh shouldn’t be that easy

You might as well sign a whole class because one position changes happen you get to your freshman rating and you can still take them off your board if you don’t want to use them

@@FendlerYT no you can’t but on signing day, you can take them off your board after they already committed you just click X you gotta go to the prospect part it and click on their name
@@FendlerYT I literally just found out two days ago. You can take them off your board after you see the rating on position change .. you have to go to their position on the scouting board and click X you could take them on and off clicking X after they already committed and says singed
