I had read somewhere that this song is actually a samurai's wife mourning his honorable death. Buuuuut it gets kinda confusing unless you consider that this samurai and his wife were soulmates, what with the concept of "I am you, you are me, and without you I am incomplete/broken/not myself."
My guess the video has two perspectives showing. A samurai that wanted to go home but died on the battlefield instead and a shinigami that seeing it all.

I like the world view of this music video. This is the Japanese samurai! I'm sure people from overseas will be impressed when they see this video. I think so. In fact, there are many posts from overseas.
He is one of my favorite singers of all time. This video is beautiful! You can really hear the depth of his music in every song he has, and his voice is just phenomenal. And, I am going to say it, he is a very handsome man, and anyone who has eyes can see that. =) It just adds to his wonderfulness as an artist.
