Benefit is only for those ALREADY diagnosed with amd - ask any retinal specialist. For those diagnosed it reduces those chances of progression in a statistically significant number
I’m 76 and never smoked-I eat healthy-am not overweight. My cholesterol is good. My eye doctor says I have “Drusen” which can indicate Macular degeneration occurring so am taking Areds.

Is zinc and copper element important in AREDS2 formula? Thanks.
They were both in the areds and areds2 formulations although I can’t comment on how individually important each were

I get my zinc and Cooper in my daily multivitamin. So, I take zeaxanthin and lutein separately.
