This wine is one of the reasonably priced wine for its quality 👍 I’m just enjoying 2020 vintage. This 🍷 is dark fruit dominant with nice tannins and acidity❤ Peace and Love from Japan 🇯🇵
Uruguay is tannat central. And they're all more or less in that fruitier, softer style. I have not had this one, but have very recently enjoyed Pisano RFP tannat 2018 and Cerro Chapeu Ysern 2016. I definitely prefer Uruguayan tannat to Argentinian and Chilean cabs and malbecs.
Thanks for that info and the recommendations. I so rarely find anything from Uruguay in my local stores and it's not an area that was covered in-depth when I did my certifications. That's probably why I don't recall what is typically grown there.
Garzon is a fav. This, and all their wines I’ve had are amazing IMHO. If you like bold, big structured wines this is a go to.
I'm definitely buying it again.

I'll keep an eye out for it.
Funny that i poured this exact wine and opened youtube. Then this video popped up. It's almost like Google's spying on me
That's because they are spying.

@@WineOnTheDime I'm lucky. One of the local shop owners has a taste for it, always keeps a few good ones in stock.
"national grape"
That's from Wikipedia
