- I had the absolute pleasure of interviewing director Michael Mohan, who was behind the helm of the new horror movie IMMACULATE starring Sydney Sweeney.
Michael and I chat about his physical media collection and favorite labels, the long journey that Immaculate took from script to screen, Sydney Sweeney’s unforgettable performance, and of course, explaining that ending (no spoilers!) that will be burned into audiences minds for years after seeing this one!

I’m not a horror movie fan but seeing he is in the community I will go see that movie this weekend.
I've been going on and on to friends about this movie, the visuals and framing of the shots, how *Italian* the film felt to me...and to learn that it's because everything is - authentic - is so satisfying. The montage is one of my favorite parts; showing the lighter side of the story. I can't wait to see this again because, funny enough, I love the ambiance. Similar to my enjoyment of Last Night in Soho. I didn't want the movie to end, I need to know what happens after!
Also, spoiler? But I knew the entire plot and reveal immediately.. what she experiences -forced birth- is ironically directly in line with the state of women's health rights in the U.S. today and funny enough, I thought that was on purpose. To hear that this was written over a decade ago was surprising! It feels very on the pulse of current events
So honored that we could provide entertainment for Michael! 😂 We went to see Immaculate just because of this interview and we ended up really enjoying it!

I was shocked how nasty this gets and had a blast watching my friend be horrified the whole way through this at the cinema last night
