The Cavalier number plate is in the “Ancona” position because the car had a tow hitch at some time. The ball would have blocked the legal visibility of the number plate and therefore it was mounted on the rear panel rather than under the bumper
Ford never built a Zodiac in estate form - like most of their contemporaries with their own models - leaving that to specialists, in this case, Abbots of Farnham…
Nice one Phil, I really enjoy these auction house videos. So many great cars to choose from in that lineup.
Which would you choose? :D
@@ClassicsWorldUK That’s a tough question to answer. It’d be a toss-up between the BMW 5 Series Touring, the CX and the Stag.

Well presented thanks.
Thanks for watching!
Previous towbar on the cavalier probably the reason for rear registration plate.
The Renault Caravelle caught my eye. Pretty little thing. Same age as me, too! 😁👍
L200 not even a look in ?
The 530i Touring and the XJ-S please. 😍
Great choices!
@@ClassicsWorldUK Are you buying? 😂
Wow, prices have collapsed if those reserves are accurate😳
Nostalgia has an expiry date. The desire dies, as do the people who wanted them.
UK economy has an expiry date.....GB way way behind Germany, France, lowlands and Norwich countries
It's often a way to get people watching....thinking there's a genuine bargain to be had, only to find they all go for way more than is suggested.
Unbelievable low estimates. The Rover 825 would be my favourite. Or the Audi TT and the Alfa GTV you didn't mention but were in the final row.
Er P5B saloon?
The Zodiac Estate were built by Abbotts of Farnham. Very rare.
If I had the spare funds, the CX GTi. Uber cool cars.
Class!
I'd have that Cavalier over a Ford these days, far rarer.

How much do you want for those two "bike things"?
Decisions, decisions… too much choice and not enough money 🤣
You're doing yourselves no favours by well under pricing these vehicles . We all know how the market is but these prices do not help .
What do you mean?
There’s someone with brown underwear right there😂😂
It’s a buyers market I’m afraid 🤷🏼♂️
