David Ibarra I was thinking the same damn thing. I loved his mixes of Spin Spin Sugar, Insomniac, and Professional Widow.. I don't think his mixes are as amazing as they were back in the late 90's, but its still great to see them collaborating. Love me some Armand!
Love how Armand deconstructed the vocals ... THIS IS A REMIX! Instead of just putting a different beat on an existing song he made a completely new version of this beautiful song. Great work!
ok first off let me say dam this is great mix, second im so glad two of mt favorites of dance have finally collaborated they both are great. this mix is funky progressive house with a 90s feel that build for what its intended for....the dance floor. t his is going to be the djs go to mix of this track kudos to madonna and armand
I don't understand what people's expectations are of remixes. This is meant to be blasting on a dancefloor in a club, not playing in the grocery store. Lyrics are stripped. This takes me back to late 90's Garage House. But why shouldn't it? Armand Van Heldon was mixing beats before todays DJ's were in their diapers. This mix fits great into his catalog. The Offer Nissim mixes are nice, but they aren't that interesting. And she's been using them for nearly every single for years now. Thats terribly predictable, and doesn't make for an interesting body of work when all your mixes are done by the same damn person. Just saying. Quite a few people around here need to get themselves Armands mixes of Spin Spin Sugar, Professional Widow, Sugar is Sweeter, Insomniac, and see for themselves why this guy OWNED the dance floor for almost a decade. Madonna's a little late in using him, but so what... better late than never.
Jesse Andrew - correction, the only officially commissioned remixes that Offer Nissim has ever done for Madonna were "Girl Gone Wild", "Turn Up The Radio", "Living For Love", and this one. All the others he's done have been unofficial private / bootleg remixes. This pales in comparison to the number of officially commissioned remixes that were done by Peter Rauhofer, Victor Calderone, Tracy Young, etc. throughout the years.
Jesse Andrew no queen just no. the Nissim Mix is the only ones that do the song justice...the rest fall short including this one..and it's not the lack of vocals only cause Van Helden did amazing work with Tori's Professional widow...this is WEAK...so NO queen just NO
***** Those are the four Im referring to - so no correction necessary. Did I say "5 mixes" or something?... and yes, please include Peter, Victor and Tracy in that> I wholeheartedly agree they were used too often as well, and oakenfold.
TarantulaCandy Queen? It's always nice to have unidentified strangers on RUclips (with no profile pic, no name) jump to name calling. (anonymity makes it so easy, why not) I didn't diss the Nissim mixes, I actually like them, so you can pull the stick out of your ass. You don't like this mix, that's fine. Clearly you're a self appointed expert on what is "weak" so I'll leave you to your assessments.
+TarantulaCandy Wow, I just logged back into RUclips today and saw this response. I suggest you read back this thread in it's entirety to see just how angry and rude a person you are. Since you seem to have some confusion about the roles of RUclips and Home, I'll school you. On RUclips artists share videos. People comment on these videos with their thoughts and opinions. For example, my comment here discusses how I think this remix isn't half as bad as the myriad of negative comments would have you believe. You jumped in by calling me a queen and talking about how only the NIssim mixes were any good. I replied by pointing out I never really dissed the Nissim mixes, and also made comment on how it was tacky to make it personal. I told you to take your head out of your ass because it didn't appear that you were paying attention to anything I had to say, but rather trying to troll my comment with personal insults. All of this is perfect examples of threads that happen all over RUclips. The idea that I would have to have "nerve" to engage in a conversation with someone like you (who, like I said, hides behind a fake name and no photo like a coward) is so ironic its staggering. You think I've got nerve? You don't even have the courage to own up to your own statements, to put your own name to them. I mean, if I had that kind of luxury I suppose I'd be using ALL CAPS calling strangers QUEEN too. I mean, its a lot easier being a jerk when no one knows who the hell you are.
This is pretty much classic house/garage music.Love it. I don't get why some say this is horrible... this type of sound is way better than the Dance Dance Revolution EDM horn sound crap that is currently still being made
I think there would be better remixes if she re recorded the vocals to go with a faster beat. That is what made such good remixes for don't cry for me Argentina out of a ballad, for example
If you put a 20 year old in a room and made them listen to this over and over again they would eventually confess to being responsible for killing Kennedy.
What a horrible dated boring remix. Armand used to be a legend. His remix work peaked 20 years ago. I get that the deep house sound is current right now but this remix is a snooze. It's like he didn't even try. All these Ghosttown remixes are very bad, they took her best song in years and butchered it. And to the idiots that say this is a ballad, I guess you're not very familiar with the real talented producers and DJ's she used in the past to transform her ballads into incredible remixes for the clubs.
AdrianDany the remixes are all pretty horrible. you could make a 45 minute "happy hour at the gay bar" DJ mix of "Ghosttown" and not have the complete song lyrics in any sort of sensible manner. they all sound the same. like crap.
It took 25 years to get an Armand remix for a Madonna song. Great!!!!
David Ibarra I was thinking the same damn thing. I loved his mixes of Spin Spin Sugar, Insomniac, and Professional Widow.. I don't think his mixes are as amazing as they were back in the late 90's, but its still great to see them collaborating. Love me some Armand!
There's a remix he did for Ace of base that I really love...
David Ibarra the british knights mix of lucky love. it was my intro to armand.
Jesse Andrew , he really transformed Spin Spin Sugar.
Love how Armand deconstructed the vocals ... THIS IS A REMIX! Instead of just putting a different beat on an existing song he made a completely new version of this beautiful song. Great work!
I just found my favorite Ghosttown remix! yay
OMG!! This Remix is EVERYTHING!!! I LOVE iT!!! :D
wow!! THIS is a great remix!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very good!
ok first off let me say dam this is great mix, second im so glad two of mt favorites of dance have finally collaborated they both are great. this mix is funky progressive house with a 90s feel that build for what its intended for....the dance floor. t his is going to be the djs go to mix of this track kudos to madonna and armand
Incredible song

NO HOUSE... The Maxx - Techno Time
Yes, I loved his remix of Spin Spin Sugar. When I heard the original version, I was shocked at how he much he transformed the song.
LOVE IT!!!!!!

A good remix! Sound like 90's!
This is #Beautiful love this Remix #Madonna
Amazing!!!
great mix!
Love this remix! Get down and partay!!!!🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
Builds Like A SkyScraper!
remixing is editing lyrics too, following the dance vibe. this succeeds in both. classic Armand and less Madge lyrics. nice indeed!
Armand Van Helden is back! And it sounds like always has been! Fuckng amazing!
j'adore !!!!! :)
This sounds like a vinyl record with scratches causing it to skip and repeat over and over again.
Not only is this a sicking remix, Armand reconstructed the track to fit the rhythm, that's a real DJ for your ass.
Armand van helden my fav dj and producer of house music - love it \m/ inc. funk phenomena, you dont know me, flowerz, i want your soul etc \o/
Love this. Best M mix of recent times. Very 90s/garage. I hope she uses Armand again.
es hermoso madona te amó
:)
at first I thought it said Van Halen Remix- now that will be pretty cool

Great!!!
Yessss!
coool
THIS is the MIX!!! #Illbeonfire
I really like it! Cool remix!
♡
I like this new remixes more than the Living For Love ones, but surprisingly is not on iTunes :(
I think there would be better remixes if she re recorded the vocals to go with a faster beat. That is what made such good remixes for don't cry for me Argentina out of a ballad, for example
Exactly! That's what I have been saying all along. Everything in each remix is there but the vocals are too slow.
Noe Palomino , the vocals are a bit slow...actually slower than the original album version, I think.
She's so great!. She's my Madonna!. She's my Queen!. She's so sexy, so sweet, so rebel!. She's a rebel heart!. I love you, Madonna!. Good remix. :)
😍

This is ok, he has done better mixes! I think MK could of done a better mix! she could of done Morales MAW also!!
Não gostei. Será que os outros são melhores?!
Armand has had some amazing songs over the years, but now I know why I’ve never heard this version buy him. Because it’s forgettable and not good..
If you put a 20 year old in a room and made them listen to this over and over again they would eventually confess to being responsible for killing Kennedy.
Richard Rivera depending on the 20 yr old. not everyone thinks thiis is shit
Miss rivera your madre!

Awful
this is just horrible remix:-(
this is just horrible. I had to put an end to it after 4 minutes.
AdrianDany the remixes are all pretty horrible. you could make a 45 minute "happy hour at the gay bar" DJ mix of "Ghosttown" and not have the complete song lyrics in any sort of sensible manner. they all sound the same. like crap.
Agreed! These mixes are so terrible!! Aside from the Offer Nissim ones, they are unbearable to listen to. What are they thinking??
Denny G Her ballads were never remixed. You really have to put more time into remixing a ballad. These seem rushed.
I would have enjoyed this remix 20 years ago...but not today, terrible
Probably cuz you're old. You're losing it.
no I am not I hate this song why is it an issue for you ....just leave me alone whoever you are
***** don't start talking shit and you won't be bothered.
no one asked your opinion so stfu
