Completely agree - even though it can get crowded it absolutely remains one of the best "gateway" hikes. Easy to get to, not all that hard but huge payoffs. I love seeing folks make it to the top the first time and have the "holy cr@p, I just climbed a real f'n mountain!" look on their faces. And if you can catch a sunrise or sunset, even better.
