    Hey Pom. Love your work. I think you’ll see Taj Stanley from NT Thunder/ Allies rock up the draft board towards the end of the season. A real in and under player who is hard as nails. A Branden Maynard type.

    • @PommyinOZ
      @PommyinOZ  2 месяца назад

      He's in the top half of the pre board. Usually changes one we get to sept and I do needs analysis so I can formulate as obvious 50 mids ain't getting taken hahahahahah

      His versatility is one of his attributes. Can play mid, half forward or half back. Been hitting the score board in the WAFL. Would be a good pick up for the WCE.

    Hey Pom, pretty certain Christian Moraes is not eligible for NGA (Hawthorn) as per reports in March.
    You've also got Kayle Gerreyn as 192cm, I think he's around 200cm.

    • @PommyinOZ

      Think if you lose Battle, I'd maybe look to go down order to teens and go hard at a key pos player like whitlock, use the players you have while he develops, and try scage an interim in FA

    keep an eye on Jaxon Artemis .... WA MVP . fast halfback / wing, fantastic user of the ball, takes the game on with his pace, high level footy IQ and has been invited to the national combine. I am not sure why people keep sleeping on this kid. Has been a gun at every level since Auskick.

    Smillie the pick 1 lock 🔐 IMO Pommy. No doubts about it as he's just got all the versatility and future continuity any 3 of RICH, WC and North who could do with picking him.
    Really thinking if North don't get Smillie, then they'll seriously consider Luke Trainor, or maybe a Jagga Smith or Sid Draper. Mainly to train, trial or develop into wing-FWD half entry player, except Trainor as he's more KPP.
    North need better F50 entries though as we're certainly lacking in the department for potency. Biggest need though is undoubtedly KPF's. Trade back in the draft order and I think a Harry Armstrong, Jobe Shanahan or either the Whitlock boys would be North's targets too.
    Really disagree on Shanahan and Armstrong take from you though. With today's modern game I just think Armstrong nods ahead of Shanahan for contested marking and just built to his role better.
    Alot to flesh out still but great content as always mate.

      Love Josh! Fair point. Do you think we could see you guys go ham here. Lots of keys and strong role players. Could we see north trade future 1st (can do two) and go to like 15 to 30 and get 3 picks there to compliment your current arsenal. End up with something like a whitlock, Armstrong, Draper and maybe a hotton type

      @@PommyinOZ my early tip for pick 1 is Oliver Greeves, I think wherever North finish is where Tom McGuane will be bidded on as Tom is a left footed on baller and Alastair Clarkson would spunk his trousers over him come draft night

    I have to seek some clarification on our man Ben Camporeale. Why the slip down the order? Seemed like he had a good run at the championships and pulled in B&F for SA.
    If he does slip to our first pick, do we just take him or pick someone else and hope to still nab him as a f/s lower down?
    Where does that leave Lucas Camporeale? Is he slipping to the rookie draft or still in contention for the main show?

    • @PommyinOZ
      @PommyinOZ  2 месяца назад

      Think its more everything goes through him, from my eye I think there's a lot of point of difference earlier and gettable, so I wouldn't be risking my picks to try and force carltons hand when there 10 Ben's in the draft. We will use our first and imagine Ben's brother lucas will be much later

    • @PommyinOZ
      @PommyinOZ  2 месяца назад +1

      I think welsh helps, he's quality and somehow just being overlooked. We have the option for 2 future firsts this time around too. So with it being deep I think one side might go crazy, jump the queue before Tasmania now.

    The way Essendon are going they’re not winning another game and will finish somewhere between 10-15 I honestly hope it’s 15th or it gives more changes of Kako sliding in the draft cause Essendon’s pick is further away from his power ranking clubs mightn’t waste there time bidding on him!
    I want them to pick Armstrong with there 1st pick doesn’t bother me if it’s early he’s a bolter 100% a player they need.
    With there 2nd pick Tom Sims or Kayle Gerryn maybe both or 1 of the Whitlock brothers I think Essendon will trade out of next years draft if they don’t get decent picks for Shiel, Bryan and whoever else they can get picks for 9 tradable players all out of contract, but restricted players.
    We’ve gotta have a backup for Draper he’s so unreliable!

    • @PommyinOZ
      @PommyinOZ  2 месяца назад +1

      I think then same. Traditionally when its a deep draft, we don't see nga bids till later than planned, same with father and sons. I like the Armstrong shout. I wouldn't be surprised to see Tyler welsh bids coming too earlier as key forwards aren't a plenty so could see a classic essendon bid here too

      Currently in 50s on ours, once the footy is finished we re do it via the needs analysis so I'd imagine he will be that 40 to 40 range with him being a unit (nga generally slide a bit too especially now they are back to being landlocked)
