To those who call it an end of an era. Legends like these, never end. Think like it as a new chapter instead of an end. As they say; "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." Who knows what the future holds. They never fail to surprise us, and the inspiration and legacy they have is truly incomparable. To those lucky ones, who got to see them perform live, always cherish it and realize how lucky or privileged you were, because many would do anything to experience it. To those who haven't or never, don't feel ashamed, their music will always be apart of you, no matter what, live show or not, we all have our own ways of cherishing these legends, even if we don't got much. But honestly, A true inspiration these three were for continuing, and a massive thanks to the originals, for founding this legend of a band and taking part despite not being apart of it until the very end. Only sad thing, I feel about this, is how unfortunately bands like these wont ever exist anymore espically with how the industry has been, and the world has changed too, but atleast, we have some bands trying to get close too it. Wishing all the best for Phil, Banks and Rutherford, and I hope the future brings many great surprises. Real shame they didn't tour at more places, but they did what they could with the conditions they had. A sincere thank you for everything Genesis, and espically to Phil, and onto this new chapter we head too! Decades of inspiring, laughs, and passion, legends forever. A Legacy that will always be kept alive. 💙👑👑👑
thank for the excellent footage and sound, the end of a era for me, 63 now and fan since I was 15. I really couldn't attend again because the state Phil is in now, I admire his and the band guts to do it.......
Yes Phil sits down . You need not have worried . He carried it off well. Tonight Tonight and Land of confusion sending shivers down my spine. I still got the Genesis buzz even at 72.
Thanks for sharing Paul! Great video 😊 I saw them in Birmingham UK a few times. My Brother and i was very lucky to have front row seats. Phil sounded great to us!
I have been listening to Genesis ever since they started. Nursery Crime was an eyopener for me. Thank you Phil for bringing good music into my life all the years.
I just want to hug you for sharing this exquisite major event in my life. It is and was meant to be. Deep appreciation for your time and efforts to share the big love for Genesis, for Phil. Music that moves me🎼💞 Profound messengers of the major journey of my life. Time truly is a twinkling blink in our eyes. This is the swan song for Genesis and Phil Collins. Just wow.🎼what an honour to be here/hear now.💞🙏we may look like we are getting old. But, the Spirit is forever. Big appreciation for being able to experience a major end to an Era forever in my heart and memories🎼💞🙏Thank you Phil Collins and Genesis for the years🎼💞80's👏👏👏👏
Genesis and the Duke album was my first favorite! I listened to them as a teenager and fell in love with this band. So many many years ago and great memories in my heart and soul. Saw them on the Abacab tour in 1983..I was 16 at the time. I am 56 years old now. I smile listening to all these songs and the beautiful memories I have from Genesis ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Amazing Genesis Group ! Thank you for the high quality video ! Long live to these legends . * Love you Phil - 1:01 - Follow you , follow me -I'm still following you Phil ...
Thank you Paul for posting. I saw these guys in Manchester in 2021, but I would say thank you e ciao again to these my friends, so with Pierangela start the trip from Sardinia (Italy) and we were here at the Ziggo Dome just in front the stage. Amazing!
Great post - thanks! I first saw Genesis in 1971 at the Free Trade Hall in Manchester (with Van Der Graff Generator!). I think they had a smaller P.A. then...
Thank you ! Mixed feelings about this .. cause for years I have been dreaming of hearing Suppers Ready sung by Peter Gabriel as the big finale and that he would be part of the reunion . I am glad they still gain huge followings now in 2022. Thank you so much for uploading what I have missed.
Thank you so much for posting this- you did a great job! Brought back so many memories of the 80s. this is by far the best recording of this concert 🎶 Excellent recording👍🏻👍🏻 I really appreciate it! 💗
Thank you for such a good quality recording. I was at the first concert in Manchester and while no one will disagree that Phil has issues with the vocals the rest of the band are still a group of amazing musicians and the audience love the show which is what it is all about.
Thank you Paul. What a great night. I was sitting with my brother in 213. I have seen Genesis in 1987 1992 1998 2007 and 2022. See my You Tube channel Harold's Prog Rock Show with my Genesis All Album show.
A beautiful concert. Why wasn't the Fading Lights full ??????????? A magic piece even without the drums, but the drums here would be really strong. :)))))))) Home By The Sea wonderful, Duchess. The whole concert was wonderful. :)
the prices were so expensive : it was bad !! so people were more very far from the stage than the others in 2007 in was in front of the stage with a decent price
1. Dead Already 2. Duke's Intro / Turn It On Again 3. Mama 4. Amsterdam Welcomes / Land Of Confusion 5. The Other Thing / Home By The Sea / Second Home By Sea 6. Fading Lights / The Cinema Show / Afterglow 7. That's All 8. The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway 9. Follow You Follow Me 10. Duchess 11. Band Intro 12. No Son Of Mine / Firth Of Fifth / I Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe) 13. Domino Principle / Domino 14. Throwing It All Away 15. Tonight Tonight Tonight / Invisible Touch 16. I Can't Dance 17. Dancing With the Moonlit Knight / The Carpet Crawlers
Thank you for this good video!!! Sorry, but, for me, this is THE tour too many for Phil. He should have given his place to another singer. There, we witness a shipwreck, he can no longer sing. You have to know how to stop in life before the moment becomes pathetic. While the band is working well, congratulations to Nicholas his son on drums, he is already a talented drummer and this tour must mean a lot to him... GENESIS drummer!!!
Had my phone held for my chest so I could enjoy the show without my phone in my view. I thought it would be very shaky but I was surprised when I watched back the recording it was not that shaky at all. The day after I went again for the second show without filming and enjoying the show, but as there will not be relaesed a dvd I had to catch this memory for life ;)
I have watched a handful of shows from this tour on RUclips and I am just not impressed at all. As much as I love the music of Genesis, seeing video from this tour is like watching Willie Mays play Center Field for the Mets in 1973. Both were just empty shells for their former selves. And it left a stain on their amazing legacy. I get it. They are old now. And Phil is in terrible health. It is sad to see something that was so great reduced to stumbling around the outfield or being forced to completely remake songs in order for the singer to be able to "sing" the song. What they did to "The Lamb" should be considered a crime.
Your opinions are as welcome as anyone's, but it didn't leave a stain on anything, it was a different show from a different time. If you need it to leave a stain you can certainly do that, but that's your wish, not a reality.
Kristopher, sorry to break it to you, it is their song! They can do whatever they want with it! One day you to shall be old, you need to learn to respect your elders😂
I too have followed this tour via RUclips around Europe and North America and wasn’t impressed with Phil’s vocals on much of this tour which often were slurred or not on the beat of the music With that in mind I was apprehensive about seeing them on Friday night at The 02. London . I was really shocked and it was painful seeing in real life how Phil really struggled getting up the steps onto the stage . Phil had moments on Friday when his vocals weren’t good but overall I’m so pleased that I went to see them as I thoroughly enjoyed the show . Genesis band were really tight , Nik was very impressive at aged 20 playing the drums and the sound and lighting was top drawer .
Cringeworthy. Why can’t he pronounce words anymore? My Manchester 070707 memories are my lasting memory of this once fantastic band. Does Mr. Banks ever smile? God I love Genesis.
The worst Genesis tour of all time. Guess y’all have permanent hearing damage and no reference to pitch, power and tempo of original songs. This sounds like a really bad cover band.
Collins is not at his best and the trio Rutherford, Bank, Collins should have remastered. Steve Hackett is much better with his band and vocalist Nad Sylvan.

I'v seen Steve too. Really excellent gitarist. But playing all the songs, who were created by other great musicians, can't beat the originals. It's like overpainting the Nachtwacht of Rembrandt.

Chicago

I cried, I love them so much
I would never have thought it was possible to get this good a sound quality out of an iPhone. Congratulations on the great work...

I am crying bittersweet tears🎼💞🙏Your music is forever in my head and heart😭

I saw that Famous Charisma tour as well. I do wish they hadn't done this tour, as it's clearly one too many. Sad to watch and listen to. :(
And as here Collins wasn’t there.
Great recording ! I was in the March 25th show in London and it was amazing. Can't stop going back to these videos to rewatch. That was so much fun.
Magic Band, went to Manchester to see them, awesome.
There will never be the like again..❤️❤️❤️

Hallo, In welke zit nummer was je? en 111?

Despite the good sound quality, Phil sounded a few times like a screaming cat. Must have been underneath him in the chair.🙃
Another phone show ?
So you held your phone up the whole show....kinda sad actually.
Had my phone held for my chest so I could enjoy the show without my phone in my view. I thought it would be very shaky but I was surprised when I watched back the recording it was not that shaky at all. The day after I went again for the second show without filming and enjoying the show, but as there will not be relaesed a dvd I had to catch this memory for life ;)
Thank you so much paul72. I’ve been a fan since I was 21. Just no other word but love for this band
I have watched a handful of shows from this tour on RUclips and I am just not impressed at all. Don't watch it then.
I too have followed this tour via RUclips around Europe and North America and wasn’t impressed with Phil’s vocals on much of this tour which often were slurred or not on the beat of the music
With that in mind I was apprehensive about seeing them on Friday night at The 02. London .
I was really shocked and it was painful seeing in real life how Phil really struggled getting up the steps onto the stage .

Genesis band were really tight , Nik was very impressive at aged 20 playing the drums and the sound and lighting was top drawer .
Agree. I think the whole tour wasn't to say goodbye to the fans, it was a final cash grab. A truly sad end.
Why ho why Phil. Mama was terrible vocally. Should have ended in Rome
Phil's song is gone... alas!
Cringeworthy. Why can’t he pronounce words anymore? My Manchester 070707 memories are my lasting memory of this once fantastic band. Does Mr. Banks ever smile? God I love Genesis.
The Dictator curse was censored...
I paused the recordings between some songs and unfortunately missed this great joke…
SAD...
The worst Genesis tour of all time. Guess y’all have permanent hearing damage and no reference to pitch, power and tempo of original songs. This sounds like a really bad cover band.
Sorry but Collins sounds horribly
yep...anyone who thinks this is his best is nuts, just watch genesis 76.
83ish and performing!! Go Phil Go
Collins is not at his best and the trio Rutherford, Bank, Collins should have remastered.
Steve Hackett is much better with his band and vocalist Nad Sylvan.
Spoken like a typical Hackett fan. This isn’t Steve Hackett, it’s Genesis, which Hackett by choice hasn’t been a part of for 45 years. Two entirely separate entities. @@studioannur221 The Hackett sound is much better than Genesis, because Genesis has no more fun and heart.
I'v seen Steve too. Really excellent gitarist. But playing all the songs, who were created by other great musicians, can't beat the originals. It's like overpainting the Nachtwacht of Rembrandt.
@@bert7867 I respect your opinion, but I prefer the way Steve Hackett revives Genesis.
