I started collecting in 2023. It was a year of discovery of the hobby. I decided to invest in old topps cards. I will wait to see what they do in prices in 1 year. Probably not buying much in 2024.

I’m a big fan of your approach and would love 2024 to be a self funded hobby,🤞🏻 the values start to go up again!

I’ve heard a lot of people say lately that this hobby has turned stressful and not fun. I’ve personally made a lot of changes in how I collect to put the fun back into it. I made a personal code that if I pull something great I will do something nice for a random collector. I try to balance out my Karma. Whatever you decide I’ll support you. I really loved this video and I learned a lot from it. I hope Topps will be a fun and stress free way to collect but we will see. Thanks for all the great videos this year! Happy New Years Everyone!!

Hopefully Topps will shake things up. I’m optimistic. I also think it’s good to self reflect and change things when you are getting frustrated with any hobby. I appreciate all your support this year! Congrats! I wish I could do this but being overseas grade and flip is not really an option and buying extra cards to sell alongside my PC cards ends up being an extra risk. I know that some people can net even or profit while building their PC, but I know I would suck at it

That's definitley my goal also to have a self paid hobby! Going to be interesting in 2024 with Topps as you said, how they handle releases in pricing ect. I completely agree with your take on how the UFC card market has too many graded cards and not enough demand so that's why we see declining prices. Fun video mate

The wax is probably killing your profit my dude. I know it's hella fun, but u could've done some major damage buying 3 or 4 grand worth of singles on auction..

Yeah.. breaks are the worst investment by far. I bought into one recently and ended up with one numbered ian machado garry card for $70.. The rest was not worth anything.
