Those blue jars are extremely popular in my area. I have a bunch that I use for displaying things like buttons, wooden thread spools ,and marbles. I also use them for tea bags, rice, other dried goods. Those different shapes and sizes are so cool!
I think your “stool” is actually a chair bottom. Looks like there were holes at the back of the seat for back spindles.

I envisioned a rainbow bridge scene painted on that trowel handle you laid on top of the shopping cart. Because my dogs are in heaven.
I just had a neat quilting idea when I saw the cat, cuz I got like 14 fat quarters of fabric for$1.75, and a half jelly roll ( I think they call them) for $1. I was ecstatic! And I don't even quilt yet!
The bubbles are in older jars..blue is an older color....great for storing..
Those mason jars are older, The have the word ball with an "s" on them. Balls, that was an early trademark
Bermuda bag ...different colored covers..back in 1980s ..i had 2 of them , my mom sewed and made me covers to match my dresses oor outfits ..had my initals on some of them..
I had one of those vintage plaid purses growing up in the 70s. You could buy covers to change them out.

As for the blue speckled crocks with the labels…I have had good luck removing labels like this by covering the labels with a wet bath cloth and letting it soak for a while. Oftentimes the labels will scrape off without leaving any residue.
Are goodwill bins is an hour drive, and the one time we went there were bed bugs. We left real quick and haven’t went back

I had that button purse as teenager… there were multiple covers for them.
So glad you picked up the trowels! My Dad was a tile setter and an artist at that! He used those to put grout on the wall prior to tiling!

I had an old cabinet and I used the old wood trowel for the drawer pull.
Those ball jars are OLD! Kelly @ Kilgore’s said when the “a” has the tail in the front means it is one if the older jars. 😎

Hi, I like to see the old concrete trowels usd for displaying photos, postcards by using a cute magnet (glue a small magnet on back of scrabble tile or a button, for instance). Tip the trowel on its side so bottom is facing out. Wrap a ribbon or jute/twine around one end too. Use surface to spell out words with scrabble tiles. Love your bins videos best, I think.

Those vintage trowls were used to smooth concrete sidewalks, the smaller one makes sections in the sidewalk, while the one with sawtooth blades was used to add texture to the sidewalk for extra tread.

You can look up the approximate age on the Ball jars by the way the word Ball is designed. The design of the word has changed over the years.

Lots of good stuff! I think the larger wooden thing with the handle is a sander. The purse with the handles brought back memories. I had one and you unbuttoned the fabric and could change them out. Super popular in the 80’s.

Hi Julie the blue jars used to go for quite a bit. I grow lots of zinnias and marigolds and put them in the blue jars and give them to someone sick or if they have a birthday. You probably know if you ever find one with a 13 on it is worth money $$$$. I love leather purses or any kind of bags. My husband bought a leather messenger bag that was old and he let me use it as decor.

The wooden handle purse was from the 80's. The bottom fabric part was removable and you could buy different ones to change out. Very popular when I was in high school!

I collect the blue canning jars. You can tell the mfg date by the way the logo is written. Google "How to date your Ball canning jar". Youll see a chart that can help you out.
