We finally got to see Irene! I’m so proud of Wendy, Joy, Seulgi, and Yeri for their special/solo stages, I hope we see something from Irene soon as well. Red Velvet was the main event!!!
1:29 i just realized yeri had a wardrobe malfunction then 2:41 onwards she starts to hold her dress...😲 she did great in managing it the heck she's even smiling, totally pro!!! i almost didnt notice it until she had closeup shot. although it's scary 😭 stylist should make sure next time their dresses are secured before performance also i think thanks to sbs realized this, thus she didnt got many close up shots even in her parts, they handled the camera work very well
Red Velvet was the main event. Look how they are glowing and shining, vocal and visual queens. The camera work could have been better esp the 1st verse but either way they slayed. Literally queens.
tbh I liked the camera work. Yeah they showed the bg dancers a lot but it felt like the camera person was really passionate about showing everything that is happening (e.g. 2:03 and the zoom out at 2:20 didn't seem like it was there to show the stage itself but the group + bg dancers [it also didnt make us miss an important move or sth]) and also wendy got screentime!! I also loved the many close ups and changes of perspective. it gave the performance even more energy in my opinion.
Seulgi's visuals at the beginning absolutely set the tone for this visually stunning performance. Each one of them look stunningly beautiful. So proud of our Queens 🕊💞🎄🎊🎈

"Simple" has no bad connotation here IMO, it's more on the line of "less is more" and I actually agree with the og comment. Joy shines so much more with simple and elegant outfits, and not that much with tons of layers that covers her entirely while she's on stage. She's already gorgeous, so clean lines, minimal makeup and jewerly, enhances her beauty. :")
