I wanted to share my experience, it is other way around in my neighborhood, they don’t rent house for other religion ppl. I don’t want to mention any religion names. And they don’t take food which was given from a temple or which was prepared on any occasions, since they believe it was an offering made to god, I'm telling this as part of coexist. It seems to be lacking.Since this aunty spoke about it she was exposed. But there are many and im seeing them for ages now and they are so called a head or a leader who does all this religious discriminations. One rotten apple can spoil the entire bunch. I’m not trying to take any side just tat there are toxic ppl everywhere, who seems to be pretentiously good to you on face and has an evil or old school thoughts.
My house owner informed us to vacate the house two years back when he was about to leave to abroad to stay with his daughter thinking tat we might not move out of his house and will create any issue after he moves to abroad !!! He lied us that his relative is gonna come to that house and later only we came to know that he was afraid to leave abroad by having a tenant in his house !! And that house was locked nearly for 2 years without any one coming and now we moved out of Chennai, but that time we experienced a hell to look out for a new home since the owner torchered us to move out before he leaves India 😡 without giving us any prior information!
Ahmed basically when i was starting my internship in MBBS in 2015 - my mum and I were house hunting and we happened to see a relatively comfortable house - where i was going to stay all by myself - the houseowner lady was like very rude and not considerate- she was like u need to pay 50k ASAP in like the next 1 hour or else there are 10 people in the queue for it - we dint wanna lose the house because it was secured and safe for me as it was very close to my hospital - the other thing is every morning she literally used to shout at my mother for AC pipes, running water and petty issues - and when we were threatening to leave she was like i wont give ur advance now and all dat - she was a very greedy lady and later died in like 6 months bcos of Liver cirrhosis- I obviously wouldn’t have wished her to die but karma is for real 😑🙏
U are saying chennai... I have experienced these old thought process house owner issues in new jersey (Indian) ... Honestly regardles of place if old gen don't change thier perspective young gen do have to face difficult situation...
