Trigger's story is quite interesting: he was found guilty of a crime he didn't commit and had to prove his innocence through fighting, as the ones who shot down Mother Goose 1 was not Trigger but some Erusian radicalists using hyper-advanced Belkan technology. The situation turns back around for him when he is given the position of Squadron Leader for Strider Squadron and... for me, Trigger is the true hero of Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown because he fought not only to prove that he was innocent. Trigger fought bravely and regained his honour!
Thanks for the appreciation. I feel sorry for Mihaly A. Shilage, though: it seems to me that the "cranky old geezer" (as Avril Mead likes to call him) is paralyzed. I would have liked him to be the flight instructor of the player in a future Ace Combat game, to teach him how to control his aircraft, as well as giving the player an insightful view of dogfighting. As the player's skill grows, Mihaly's teachings will become more difficult to grasp and master in combat. I would like to have a kill and efficency percentance counters, too. I'm sure these two basic stats would push players to become more deadly flyers!

I try to understand the history and politics that happened in the Ace Combat universe through cutscenes and I have to say that Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is the best game so far. The story was involving, the introduced characters had each their distinct personality and the thing I liked most was the idea of being traumatized, shell-shocked, which is portrayed best by Princess Rosette D'Elise of Eurusia's facial expressions after the plane which transported her had been shot down along with everything she held dear. I'm going to end this comment with an important question: "Yet, what is a nation? Can we actually see the physical lines that divide one from another?". Honestly, I believe the answer to this question is that we are all part of this magnificent planet called Earth and that it is right to stand and fight for something we truly believe in, if you have have the freedom to choose yourself.

Just discovering this serie and i started with pt 7. I thought i'd see a simple combat flight simulator... To my all surprised enjoyment, i found a well built storyline with amazing graphic air combat in real time. REALLY APRECIATED THE CHANGE ! 😄

Its all perfect, down to every last minute. The gameplay, the game itself, the music, the battle, the moment, especially 6:52:08 that was success gave me goosebumps. You are the trigger, brother!
If there would be a next Ace Combat, my opinion of suggestion would to make the avionics panel more realistic and with the missile impacts, with that, to have one missile to destroy a ground target or "bandit" after being locked on than have two missiles hitting that single target
I love how AC7 mention legacied things, Schroeder mentioned about the Waldreich 7 Pillars, and then theres the part about Nicholas Andersen and the Razgriz launch on the sinking kestrel, theres more i can't mention. Just loved it man.
Sad thing is, sky hooks/space elevators can’t work for one simple reason: conservation of angular momentum. An object at the top would have more angular momentum than that object at the bottom, so if you tried to lift a significant mass up to geosynchronous orbit, it will steal angular momentum from the elevator, toppling it over.
I love that there's a patch of Eurasia that they don't occupy due to the worry that the ace that lives there will get up and wreck their entire armed forces.
Aaah, i like the story line. The way they brought back the name of the name from the previous series, i love it. But, hey Kei Nagase! Why you go to the space ship. I feel like I'm betrayed in this part. C'mon bruh, Isn't razgriz already a become Harling's Squadron? I think if Razgriz help in the mission "rescue harling" its still make sense and i think it would be nice. Or they can help in last mission to takedown the drones. Just help not to take the center of show, trigger should be the center of show I dont know how about the other, but its best scenario i can make to bring back their name.

I notice that, as a wingman, you're acting like a Mobius 1 instead of a team player... I enjoy watching. But it's annoying when you don't play like I do. Especially since you fire missiles at odd angles that obviously won't hit (though you were a lot better byt the time you got the F/A-18, my favourite plane). Hahaha! I do the with the bridge too. Ooooh! 01:50:45 to 01:51:55 was beautiful! Eh, don't mind me. I think it speaks of every gamer towards another. Good vid.
Most aircraft cannot exceded 12-14g. Their wings rip off at that force. As for the pilot, even in g-suits, fighter pilots rarely hit higher than 9g. 9g's is where you'll blackout. -5gs will result in red out (blood going up instead of down)

Like, with all the post-action data, and the technology they have for analysing that information and making sense of it, how hard would it really have been to just check Trigger's footage to see he didn't fire a missile at the ex-president? Trigger's 'loyal' comrades just kinda shrug and go 'well he was in the air in a fighter plane nearby' like they all were and that's enough to send him to prison? Really?
They needed someone to blame. It couldn't just blow up on it's own, right? Still, it sucks that one second they're cheering for you, the next they ground you with no investigation. And if there was, i sure cannot call that an investigation.
Lol, its like my gameplay. Just make it looks cool and i dont really care / in hurry to pursue the enemy🤣. But i make sure the angel to shoot the missile first, so i dont waste many missile
Game would be more Engaging if it had a Tad bit more Detail to make me feel like a Baddass instead Of a kid playing with toy planes making "blow-up noises" Because Yes the Series HAS Been more Detailed ! So the Fan base is Narrowing and Dividing more if No Expanding on Formulas
I think some mission are adapted and modified from previous sequel. In my opinion, its okay as long as its not the same mission. Its need many idea to make a mission cause we need to suit with the story too
Does this one have horrible Call of Duty style , Helicopter scenes where you only open gunfire and etc? Like on PS3 Ace Combat? If it does, I will not but. It was very disappointing.

The Erusean army re-purposed it as a long range anti-aircraft weapon, until 7 of the 8 guns were destroyed by AC4's protagonist Mobius 1.

Sorry have to ask this question but is 30 g's even possible in an aircraft ?? ( im refering to the opening movie )
Psypower No last I heard anything around 20 gs causes damage to the plane causing it to crash also 20 gs is to much for a person to withstand in a jet

A expert pilot can take 11/ 12 g and the suit reduces on 1/2 g so....
they had to mean it for the drone, because the pilot would probably be dead otherwise

This game is a follow-up of the events of Ace Combat 4 and 5 but it a good game even though I have a lot experience in Ace Combat series
So the world is fictional setting with real figther jet? Is there any SF rating craft in this game? perhaps as an enemy?

not .hitler after the cutscene it showed the replay of the 444 mission it was showing when you first take off to start the mission.

Only infinite normal missles, from what I can tell. Two of the normals just have a cool down instead of being able to fire all of them sequentially.
