- Working on improving your canter quality? Or you just can’t sit your horse’s canter stride? One great way to help you with your canter is to count each beat of the gait. As you count, focus on feeling your seat in each footfall. This will help you establish a steady and consistent rhythm, which is the number one most important thing in your riding! Plus, it’s a great way to help you relax a follow the motion of your horse. Want more tips to help you improve your riding? I have something exciting coming! It's a little too early spill the beans, but if you're like me and are a committed rider, who wants to develop your skills, connect with your horse, and enjoy your time in the saddle, you will want to block out June 19th-23rd for an exciting free, virtual event I am hosting. Full announcement is coming soon! #dressage #canter #horseriding

So glad to hear!
