Yes, absolutely love fall. The color of the trees, the cooler temperatures after a summer in the 90s, pumpkin spice everything, apple cider, pumpkin pie, thanksgiving and halloween. It's my favorite time of the year.
YES you can actually go outside and enjoy crisp air! In the summer, it's too hot and humid - in the winter, it's too freezing, and in the spring it's raining 80% of the time or there's some kind of allergy problems with pollen counts.
The bugs die with the first freeze. The humidity is gone. The sun is weaker. Being outside is such a delight. Burning leaves and the smells of the world shutting down for a rest. And the food.....................don't get me started. Pumpkin spice is the name of the season.
And like he was saying, it's the start of holiday after holiday after holiday. I always found it weird how Europeans call time off from work or just going anywhere "holiday". Americans see holidays as a special time of year or day... and our time off work or going somewhere is 'vacation'.
If a European tells an American he is going on "holiday".... An American will probably ask them what holiday is it? Because we see 'holiday' as a special day or event.... To Americans, it's like a Holy Day.
There’s so much to love about a Midwest fall. Pumpkins, the beautiful colors of leaves, hayrides, bonfires, high school football, Halloween and sweets galore!
We always seem to get what we used to call "Indian summer" (I'm assuming that's not politically correct anymore lol) where it fakes being fall, then we get another summery hot week or so, then back to normal chilly autumn

There's a feeling I have experienced only in the fall, the crisp air and the sounds of falling leaves and cracking trees just gives you a rush, like a gentle haze in you're brain. I can't explain but it's amazing.
Autumns here in the North east are Amazingly beautiful. The cool crisp air ,the leaves changing color orange red and yellow ,crunching under your feet.Sweaters and bonfires . Apple cider donuts corn mazes and Halloween ughhh I love it!🍁✌❤
Autumn is my favorite season. You have sweater weather days where you do not need a bulky coat, and cool nights where you burrow in under warm blankets. The apple orchards are in full swing with apples, apple cider donuts, cider and other tasty snacks, and fall / Holloween / Thanksgiving nick nacks. There are the Fall craft fairs, hay rides and the smell of smoke in the air from fireplaces. There is the beautiful color of the changing leaves - which you do have to rake up or run them over with a lawn mower to clean up your yard. But the very best thing is Halloween.
I love drives into the mountains to see all the gorgeous trees in their brilliant colors while enjoying an apple cider drink, wearing a flannel shirt with warm boots, and walking my dog on a scenic pull off. Peaceful. Beautiful. 😊
I'm originally from Colorado, and we always made fall excursions to the mountains to see the beautiful aspen trees changing, I love the rattling noise they make in the wind❤
I love Fall weather. Not hot, not cold. Good for traveling because kids are in school. I hate that Hummingbirds go south for winter, but love when they come back in spring.
Autumn in Florida means a relief from the 40°c+ temperatures and humidity so high it’s like drinking the air. We don’t get as many of the fall colors on the trees down here. Fall festivals are everywhere and then it’s off to the races with Hallowe’en, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Autumn in the Midwest is incredible. The colors are so amazing, there are trains just to ride to see the color of the leaves. The crisp air. The hay rides, the apple cider and caramel apples, corn mazes, the sound of walking through leaves, making piles of them and running with your dog and jumping into it. Hot spiced cider. Pumpkin spice everything (and no, there's no pumpkin in pumpkin spice). Getting out your sweaters and warm fuzzy slippers. Bonfires, picking your own pumpkin, football season! And to the horror of climate loonies, the wonderful smell of burning leaves. Although I put them on the compost. The end of the garden season and preparing it for winter. The soups that you can now make from the veggies from your own garden. And did I mention hot spiced cider????? That stuff is nectar from the gods when make right. Sitting in front of the fireplace burning real wood, drinking hot spiced cider, eating apple/cinnamon donuts and watching, "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!" Because you're NEVER too old for the Charlie Brown holiday specials!!!
Sweater weather, hot apple cider (home pressed), pumpkin pecan muffins (homemade), the kaleidoscope of colors in the trees, the cold crisp air and the smell of the forest falling to sleep. Absolutely worth a visit! Much love from the Midwest US 💖
Autumn is when the H.B.C.U battle of bands happens! It would be cool to see you react to different cultural American events. Kwanzaa is an African American celebration from December 26-Jan 1.
My favorite things in the Missouri autumn: sweater weather, flies and mosquitos gone, humidity gone, planning the annual Halloween party (adults & kids), the beautiful colorful leaves, friends sitting around the firepit snuggled in sherpa throws enjoying s'mores and hot chocolate, decorating (inside and out), the stores all decorated, the warming scent of spiced apple cider, Fall Fest. This is truly the season I wait for all year long.
@@annajohnson5779 when I had to replace my Keurig last year, I found & bought a box of apple cider pods and they're pretty good. In the fall I prefer to make the spiced kind with cinnamon sticks and cloves, but when autumn is still far away, I use the pods.
My favorite parts of fall is the summer heat going away and the food. Candied apples are amazing. Halloween candy and thanksgiving dinners and stuff. It's also just a very pretty time of year.
Fall is my favorite season! Midwesterner here. The weather, no bugs, beautiful colors, smells, apples and pumpkins, sweaters (jumpers). I also love winter, and the first snowfall can be as early as the beginning of November.
"Slightly out of control fire." LOL. Speaking of bonfires, we used to have them about once every other week during the fall with people I worked with. One of the guys was a super alcoholic. I mean, this guy had 5 DUIs while riding a bicycle because his drivers license had been revoked. One of the bonfires he was sitting right at the edge of the fire and as it "got slightly out of control," the guy was so drunk he didn't realize that his feet were now IN the fire. We only eventually figured it out from the smell. He lost both feet. To this day, it is a story he still tells on himself and thinks it hilarious. That he is still alive is the amazing part of the story. That was 25 years ago.
My absolute favorite part of Fall is Hoodies, Jeans, boots & the multiple fall 🍃🍁🍂 colors within nature. As she’s preparing to ready for the winter ☔️⛈️❄️ season to arrive; to slumber for the new arrival of yet another set of blossoming brilliant colors in the Spring 💐
We go hard on autumn in 🇺🇸 pumpkin and apple flavored everything, Halloween is extravagant. It’s like our pregaming for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays
Virginia, USA here! Fall is when the temperature no longer tries to kill you and all the cute harvest festivals take place! Plus hoodies and windows open and hnnnghhhh I can't waaaait! Hot tea hits different when you're not melting alive lol
Autumn in New Hampshire… football, apple cider, colorful trees! And the humidity and mosquitoes are finally gone. Oh, cider donuts are yummy. Harvesting the garden. Flannel shirts.
Fall Festivals & pumpkin patches, church craft shows where handmade items and fall desserts are sold, wearing Fall colors, decorating the house with 1960s-70s Charlie Brown Fall specials play in the background (no matter how old the kids are)
We used to live about a mile from the high school. We could hear the marching band practicing for their halftime performance. A perfect time to take a walk, perfect weather and beautiful fall trees along the sidewalk. Some neighbors had their fireplace lit, so you could smell the wood burning. So nice! That was autumn in northern Ohio.
My favorite part of midwestern autumn is the calm, introspective vibe that comes with the slightly chilly weather. Perfect for a light jacket and hot cocoa. Its perfect to take a walk and get lost in thought, or a good song, really you cant go wrong.
My favorite part of Fall is no more sweating my ass off all day and night. It means I can open my bedroom window at night and get some free a/c. And, I get to wear my winter clothes.
Autumn in the Northeast US is a vibe! Lots of colourful leaves, brisk (but not totally cold yet) weather, nice warm buildings, etc. And a cup of coffee/tea to make it all better 😊
Kwanzaa is an African American celebrated holiday that occurs around Christmas. It was created as an African American cultural celebration in 1966, by an activist who was also a black separatist, but he apparently changed some of his positions on what the holiday represented.
In California, the color of the trees, leaves on the ground, the smell of wood smoke from chimneys, it's still warm but with a crisp breeze, mulled wine and gingerbread cookies. I just feel calm and introspective. And the fall/winter garden is my favorite.
Fall is the best time of year. Major League Baseball playoffs and World Series, NFL and college football, crisp cool air without humidity, pumpkin spice lattes, multi-colored leaves on trees, smell of burning leaves, Thanksgiving feast, camping outdoors and smelling food and smoke from the camp fire, punching British tourists in the face at the airport and yelling "Welcome to America!!!"😂
Fall in western NY brings, changing leaves, cool nights with fires, fireball+ warm apple cider, hunting season, Halloween and most importantly my bday.
Fall in MN is amazing. It's like the best time of the year. Cooler weather but sunshine. Technically its September through November. You get October Fest and back to school, apple picking. Hoodie and shorts weather. The downside is the days get progressively shorter until you are basically going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark.
I just moved to Indiana from Tokyo… the summer is wildly hot but last winter when I visited it was -20c around Christmas. My eyelashes frosted over lol
A crispness in the air. And...fall is the foggiest season of the year. Just the glorious beauty and cooled off from summer heat. Thank you. Appreciate your views.
6:29 That’s why we love it, and the food. The air is crisp and it just feels good right before the Thanksgiving Holiday which for us marks the start of the Christmas/Holiday Season.
I live in Connecticut and love Fall/Autumn in Upstate New York and New England. There are so many colors and from the top of mountain trails it looks like the valleys below are covered in colorful quilts. Every early October my sister and I head up to Vermont with our dogs for a week of walking trails and taking in the beauty. Though we stay in a small cabin in Vermont, we also do trails in upstate New York.
Fall/Autumn is my favorite season, and I also live in the Midwest. The things I like most about the season is that the humidity is virtually gone, the temperatures are much cooler, I love the colorful leaves, the bugs are finally gone, coolor weather foods (like pumpkin pie, hot apple cider, cinnamony desserts) and beverages are readily available, and, of course, gathering family together to celebrate Thanksgiving. 🍁🥧🍂☕️🍁🧁🍂
It's Autumn to Americans too. Fall is just a nickname that is used because the leaves fall from the trees. UK people seem to think we don't know what Autumn means. 🤔🤣
Autumn, taking a horse pulled wagon ride at the apple orchids with the kids to get pumpkins, apples, apple cider, apple-cinnamon donuts and the carve out the pumpkins for Halloween. The leaves on the trees changing colors to orange, red, and browns are always fun to see in the autumn. Good times !!!
During the week of Kwanzaa, families and communities come together to share a feast, to honor the ancestors, affirm the bonds between them, and to celebrate African and African American culture. Each day they light a candle to highlight the principle of that day and to breathe meaning into the principles with various activities, such as reciting the sayings or writings of great black thinkers and writers, reciting original poetry, African drumming, and sharing a meal of African diaspora-inspired foods. The table is decorated with the essential symbols of Kwanzaa, such as the Kinara (Candle Holder), Mkeka (Mat), Muhindi (corn to represent the children), Mazao (fruit to represent the harvest), and Zawadi (gifts). One might also see the colors of the Pan-African flag, red (the struggle), black (the people), and green (the future), represented throughout the space and in the clothing worn by participants. These colors were first proclaimed to be the colors for all people of the African diaspora by Marcus Garvey.
Whether you call it Autumn or Fall, I love the crisp cool air, the changing color of the leaves to red, orange, & gold, the crunch of leaves when you walk, the festivals, trips to all the different pumpkin patches, warm apple cider, and all the fall goodies featuring pumpkin and/or pumpkin spice. Can't forget Halloween and Thanksgiving either. I live in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and you never really know what the weather will bring. Some years the cooler weather starts early at the end of September and other times its felt like summer in October. One year we even got dumped on by lots of snow on Halloween. Still I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I'm within easy reach of Chicago, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan and Iowa. We can take day, weekend, or 4 day trips to enjoy all the festivities of the season. And of course this leads into my favorite holiday which is Christmas.❤
I I’m in Maine, USA! The best tree foliage in USA! People travel by plane bus and car just to enjoy the COLORS OF FALL! You forgot one season we have and hate here in Maine! We have Fall, winter, spring, MUD, and summer! Spring is always so wet melting the winter snow, we get MUD!
When I lived in Boston, it was every fall weekend heading north into Vermont, New Hampshire, or Maine. Atop Cadillac mountain on a sunny day, or if you got a perfect day, the drive up on Mt. Washington. WOW. The best fall weekends of mu life were spent in New England. Everything else is an imitation of fall.
For many Americans, the fall (autumn) is their favorite season. Low humidity, clear skies, beautiful foliage, fall foods and drinks. (Except when we lived in Alaska...there, fall is just a Thursday and Friday and we're done!)
Lol. In my neck of the woods spring is like that. A few days of spring then mud season, blackfly season then summer, summer, summer. A brief, glorious autumn then winter for a year, lol. Or so it seems to me.
My favorites... crisp cool air. The vibrant leaf colors falling to the ground on a beautiful sunny day. The sound and smell of the leaves as you take a long walk. Warm cozy sweatshirts on a cool day. Hot cider in your hands as you wonder through a small craft fair. Building a fire and roasting marshmallows. I could go on... Blessings to all!!
Are you up close to Logan?? Lol I'm down a little bit. In Sandy, central Utah. I Love that we get All the seasons. Sometimes just not in the normal order. And sometimes they like to jump back and forth between the seasons. Winter, Summer, Winter, Spring, Summer, Winter, Autumn. Lol
In Texas we don't get much of the dramatic leaves changing color, or cooler temps because it's still pretty hot until like November, but I celebrate the change of the season by going crazy at Trader Joes trying all the Fall seasonal food items. I still love good pumpkin patch and putting up all the fall decor. Fall/Winter are literally my favorite two seasons. Fall is the start to so much decor, good food, family and friends celebrations, and holidays. Love it!
Fall or autumn is beautiful everywhere (at least in the US). The heat of summer is usually over and the warm days without humidity and cool nights are taken over with beautiful colored leaves on the trees. Pumpkins are everywhere and lots of crisp apples to be bought and consumed. It all culminates at Thanksgiving where we eat lots of pumpkin or apple pie and turkey. It’s my favorite season. Yes, we have spring.
We have multiple seasons in Texas. Unfortunately they are ALL some form of summer heat! Edit: current temp. in Dallas/Fort Worth 107° F/ 42° C. My slides melted yesterday on the sidewalk. Edit 2: Terra firma (land, landlocked areas) have very wide swings in temperature, whereas coastal areas have smaller temperature swings (the Oceanic effect: bodies of water do not heat and cool as quickly as land).
I love Fall!! High school & College Football is so much fun, especially when it finally starts to cool down. I also love Halloween. I live in Nashville Tennessee. Autumn doesn't officially start till the middle of September but it doesn't start cooling down here until the middle of October! As much as I love summer in the south, hanging out at the lake, going boating, sitting out by my friend's pool etc, I'm ready for the weather to start cooling down way before it gets here. I still enjoy dressing up for Halloween and standing at the door giving out candy. Our neighborhood does a thing where the people who want to, get together at one house and then they just all go trick or treating in one huge batch. That way we don't have to stand at our doors for hours on Halloween night. And it's so much fun to see the kids and the adults enjoying themselves. And of course I have a door mat that says Happy Fall yYall!!!
The fall is about cooling off and being more active. We pull pranks, none of them dangerous and culminating in Halloween. Halloween, that's a different story.
Fall/Autumn in the US is my favorite time of year. The leaves turn into these beautiful colors of orange, gold, and deep red. We like to go camping in the fall because the bugs and humidity are gone and the air is fresh and cool. Once we were camped under trees that had turned yellow and gold and the sun shining down through those colors made our camp site glow. It was so beautiful. There is also a pleasant scent in the air that arouses tranquility. The smell isn't burning leaves either, because cities and towns aren't allowed to burn leaves.
That smell is my most favorite. It's a combination of so many things but that crisp air and the scent is my happy place ❤ Ironically, I hate everything about pumpkin spice 😅 It's soooooooooo overkilled everywhere 😒
Autumn in Florida is like summer....spring is like summer, summer is like hell, and winter is like summer and a mild autumn. Its 85f here now...95f real fwel
Depends on what part of Florida. It can actually get really cold in the panhandle area and really until you get as far south as Sarasota in the winter. I have been to Destin in Florida when it snowed on the beach! I was surprised and not too happy 🤣
My favorite part is Fall foods! Time to make all the stews and soups and chilli ! Roasts , pork, beef and chicken , ham and sweet potatoes, pies and cakes turkey and “ Fixings “and…COOKIES!!!!
Beautiful, long chilly walks w/gorgeous foliage…the smells of freshly picked apples & pies, with fresh hot coffee & teas🎃🫶🏻Along with gorgeous decor, including pumpkin carving & twinkling golden lights!!! AHH, YES, & Opening the windows to air the house out w/out air conditioning!!!!
Kwanzaa. The name comes from the Swahili phrase "matunda ya kwanza," which means "first fruits." African-American families to come together and celebrate their ancestral roots.
Kwanzaa is a "holiday" invented in 1966 by a Marxist, anti-American activist. He was born as Ronald McKinley Everett but gave himself the name "Maulana Ndabezitha Karenga". He has been a college professor since 1977 (Africana Studies/Pan African Studies).
Growing up in New England (Central Connecticut specifically) Autumn/Fall brought a relief from the Summer's heat and humidity, the giddy anticipation of the new school year, shopping for fun layered Fall/Autumn fashions, the most amazing views of colored leaves (often referred to as Fall Foliage), and most importantly, the joy of jumping into piles of fallen leaves!!! You must look up videos of kids (and dogs!) enjoying this annual tradition! I still return to my hometown in the Fall/Autumn. No leaf-pile jumping, but I love the crisp air and beautiful foliage, and always stop at The Old Cider Mill to buy some local squash, cider, and maple syrup to bring back to New York City.
LOL I tried to post a link to another video with the caveat that it may not work, and lo and behold, it didn't. So I will tell you that it is a video montage of a dog jumping into leaf piles. The channel is Dog Named Stella and the video is titled Best of Stella Leaf Jumps Volume 1. Leaf pile jumping is my absolute favorite memory of Autumn/Fall in New England as a child!!! :)
In most of this country, fall is the best season: cool but not cold, doesn't feel like the surface of the Sun, allergies aren't as bad(some places like East Texas where I used to live do have bad allergies in fall so this isn't universal), etc.
As someone from Southern Georgia, we barely have a fall. It’s just “less summer.” But our spring time is among the best. Visit Savannah in early spring/ late March. It more than makes up for our lack of fall.
The Fall means return of school, high school football and homecoming. College and pro football. The baseball World Series. Bonfires, hayrides, apple orchards, donuts and pumpkin food/drinks. The no humidity and beautiful colors. Halloween and thanksgiving that will lead into Christmas.
The average winter temperature in Michigan is around -28C (-20F). Favorite parts of autumn for me is the leaves changing colors (orange is my fav ones, we also have yellows and reds and even some deep reds or burgundy-ish), bonfires, sweater weathter, pumpkin pie (not into all the pumpkin spice flavored things though), Thanksgiving (my fav holiday), and perfect temperatures (not too hot, not too cold).
I’m a big fan of the weather! I love the crisp air, I love the smells, I love pumpkin patches and seeing all the houses start to decorate for the holidays! I love pumpkin and apple flavored EVERYTHING, and having a warm drink on a brisk day and just feeling cozy.
My favorite season of all! The beautiful leaves, a chill in the air and pumpkins. I live in Indianapolis and could never move down south where they don’t experience fall. I love living where there are 4 seasons.
Favorite parts of Fall, my allergies 🤧 go away, we get to turn off the AC, the leaves are off the trees, no yard work, we have casserols and hearty baked meals, and spiced cider, and Thanksgiving! Then it's Christmas 🎄 Season!!!!😊
Fall is definitely my favorite. I’m in Western NC which is part of the Appalachian trail so we are surrounded by beautiful mountains which is breathtaking. Here the temps are all over the place but tending towards cool. I also love that it gets dark earlier. We’ve had snow numerous times years past on Halloween where it snows.
Summer is by far the coldest time in San Francisco. Once per year, usually October, SF has a three-day heat wave - like 103°. No one in SF has A/C, so we get in our cars and drive around with the A/C blasting.
Fall is amazingly perfect weather. Love the food and drink options. Love the color change in nature, decor, and fashion. You can be outside and not worry as much about bugs, especially mosquitos. Fall is great. But as amazing as fall is, winter is better since that’s snowboarding season.
Yeah see you Brits have never had to experience real summer so have never had to be soooo thankful for summer to end and welcome with all your being Autumn! The end of freaking summer!

Actually the 4 seasons in Boston are well known to be: Almost Winter, Winter, Still Winter, and Construction.
In NH too. I have hated this summer. July was a steam bath!
@@FRAME5RSyeah, it was awful here in MA too. So glad it’s nearly fall!
Ma too!
Fall Festivals & pumpkin patches, church craft shows where handmade items and fall desserts are sold, wearing Fall colors, decorating the house with 1960s-70s Charlie Brown Fall specials play in the background (no matter how old the kids are)
My favorite part of fall is warm Apple cider and pumpkin spice muffins and going to the pumpkin patch with my family!
Born and raised in Michigan and live in NE Indiana, Leaves start changing color way before November. Fall is great but doesn't last long enough.
So true. My Ecuadorian co-worker told me about a town there that was like fall year round. Sounds like heaven to me.
I live in the midwest and my favorite part of fall is the cool, crisp air and the color changing leaves. So pretty!
NO MORE BUGS BUGGING YOU
Our beautiful Indiana autumn weather, festivals, changing leaves, football games.....we love it ! 🍁🍎🎃🏈
Thank you. I was scrolling to see if anyone answered, before I answered.
My favorite part of Fall is the temperature. I love wearing jackets & feeling comfortable.
Blessings to you Lewis from CALIFORNIA.
I love the colors of fall in all the trees in the rolling hills of Ky. Don't forget the pumpkin spice coffee!
My favorite part is when someone rakes up the leaves and me ruining it by jumping in lol. Besides that, going on trails and see everything orange
A crispness in the air. And...fall is the foggiest season of the year. Just the glorious beauty and cooled off from summer heat. Thank you. Appreciate your views.
September and October are the best autumn months. Early November in my area deserves the word fall because I’m so busy raking or mowing fallen leaves.
6:29 That’s why we love it, and the food. The air is crisp and it just feels good right before the Thanksgiving Holiday which for us marks the start of the Christmas/Holiday Season.
I love everything about fall. The smell of cool crisp air and the multiple colors of the leaves.
Autumn/ Fall is My Favorite season. The weather is so beautiful.
My favs of fall are fire pits, camping/hunting season pumpkin spice, and . . . HALLOWEEN 🎃 👻 of course!
*apple orchards
Autumn leaves, cool air, pumpkin pie, comfort food, hot chocolate w/Kahluah. These are a few of my favorite things.
@@mainlymaine453 All of New England and upstate New York are top notch for gorgeous autumn foliage!
Yes from western Mass. Mud season! Followed by blackfly season!
I live in northern Utah. we really don't have a spring and fall. Just summer to winter and back again. I love that guy. He is really hilarious.
Are you up close to Logan?? Lol
I'm down a little bit.
Love it!
Same in Florida. I think I miss that part of Autumn. But I love Halloween here. The Adult Trick o Treating is fun
In the fall, there is pumpkin spice everything.
I get sensory overload when the leaves turn. It's great.
Cooler weather and the fall colors.
My favorite thing is to walk the trails and see the different color leaves. As a kid, I loved raking leaves in a pile and jumping in it.
It's a combination of so many things but that crisp air and the scent is my happy place ❤
Ironically, I hate everything about pumpkin spice 😅 It's soooooooooo overkilled everywhere 😒
We in Texas have four seasons...Fall, Spring, Summer and still Summer
We use autumn and fall interchangeably… just like a lot of British words.. but I’m living in the center spike of the trident of New England 🤷♂️
The Fall means return of school, high school football and homecoming. College and pro football. The baseball World Series. Bonfires, hayrides, apple orchards, donuts and pumpkin food/drinks. The no humidity and beautiful colors. Halloween and thanksgiving that will lead into Christmas.
Fall, my favorite time of year. Crisp air with a smoky tang, it's magical in the evening. Pumpkin anything. Leaves changing color.
Lol 32 f is the freezing point of water. You didn't really need to look it up. 😂
4:00 ... Seasons in the US ( Connecticut ) ... Winter, Mud Season, Flower Season, Summer, Hurricane Season, Autumn - Back to Winter
You can't beat our New England autumns. My backyard looks like a postcard in autumn. I love decorating the house for fall.
A tree down the street has started changing color already
Autumn in East Tennessee is the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen. The Smokey Mountains are breathtaking. I love my home.
And western North Carolina.
