What genre is Ghostpoet though, spoken word / hip hop / rock?
Andrew Kennedy You can't really categories Ghostpoet because he and his band vary their styles a lot. They're not rock, but they use features of rock, they're not hip hop but Ghostpoet raps (but doesn't rap in a typical way he's very laid back and chilled in his approaches), they're not electronic either despite using electronic music features (especially in his 1st two albums). So basically Ghostpoet and his band fuse many different styles of music together and it works really well.
This is why it's important for musicians to have knowledge and to be able to play more than 1 type of music because amazing things like this happen.
