    This is the only person who race they said. Why you gotta say African American if they can see him. Unnecessary

      Race is sometimes clinically relevant and should be brought up.

      It's part of the demographics and in PA school we were taught to state that in the opening statement BUT everyone else's race should have been stated as well

      Its relevant clinically, as race can increase the risk for certain conditions and guide the diagnosis and management. Its nothing to be a shamed of either.
