Probably because building and maintaining a genuine relationship like you do irl is all boring and time consuming and shit. “Here, have fifty bananas, bananas are your love language!” is a lot easier than planning date nights! And of course I imagine from a development standpoint “clicky button give thing, stat go up” is much simpler to code than a really deep management sim.
As cultured as i am with these things(probably more cultred than anyone's supposed to be) i am so ready for this. And yes! I can definitely tell you've been working on your yandere laugh! I never doubted you with your evergrowing va skills (and my personal favorite, the ability to conclude the story with tags lmao) not to mention that how nice this was animated, and hour-long audios are always a good thing to see

Damn that quality on this channel just keeps going over the roof! Amazing work as always! It's really interesting to me that hearing the listener try to evade her and lie to her makes me think "dude, that's absolutely gonna screw us over later don't do it" but it's also completely understandable, because there have been moments in my life that I've gotten scared or panicked, and the thing is, we probably would do some of these decisions as well cause in said moments I really couldn't think clearly on what was best to do.

I'm usually fairly calm in a crisis (comes from having so much experience with them, heh) but something completely off the wall like getting sucked into a game with a murderer would throw me for such a loop I'd be making all the wrong choices.

This one was clearly quite the project too and as much as I hate video editing I could only imagine what the editor software screen looked like when you were finally done with this video.

Hehe, I imagine this to be an alternate universe/future where games are more immersive and someone put their heart and souls into making the character in question here, only for her to gain sentience (not unlike a certain other girl we know) and now she brings us into her world in an attempt to have a relationship that she plans to make last forever! When I'm feeling bored with a trope (which happens so, SO often) I try to dive into stuff that's older than what's currently out there boring me. It often ends up feeling really fresh! I know of some notable isekai anime from the 90's by reputation (Now and Then, Here and There; Escaflowne; Rayearth; Fushigi Yugi; InuYasha.) They might be a nice switch if you're interested in that sort of thing.
Fortunately, I’m totally okay with this. My very own yandere girlfriend. 😍 Plus, I don’t have to deal with all the terrible things from the real world anymore.
This actually reminds me of a psychological horror game I've seen - Doki Doki Literature Club. I watched Markiplier play it, and that one jump scare decided for me that I wouldn't play it XD (just pretend I didn't read your pinned comment before commenting, lol) I'd love to see more audios like this! 😊😊

@@VanillaVelvetAudio Oh, it is Great Indeed! Don't get me wrong, DDLC deserves all the love it gets, and it's twist is well-known because it bushwacks you with the Fourth wall excellently. But Totono plays the long game, spends hours suckering you into it's characters and world-building, and then you have to see it all fall apart Infront of you; it's heartbreaking, motivational, and freaky how the Game plays with you (in both subtle ways and a good old fashioned shattering of the fourthwall). To be fair, Totono is kind of cheating because it's got a budget and is made by a whole team, so the production value would naturally be higher. DDLC was made by just Dan Salvato and was for free, so it deserves it's good reputation with flying colours. But man, between the Two, Totono is beyond incredible, and to say it did the whole "VN that breaks the FourthWall and Ingame Character falls for the Player" thing Waaaaay before anyone else in the game. Totono came out before RUclips was popular with Reaction commentators too, it really was a wild experience to play it like a Decade Ago and just get sucked in. Sorry for rambling, thank you for reading that Essay! Your ASMR is incredible as always by the way 👍 Keep making the amazing content you enjoy Velvet, it's a pleasure to listen too.

I love her expression changes, and I know I've only seen one glitch so far, but man, I adore that stuff. Not to mention that she blinks, which makes the times she stops blinking rather eerie.
DDLC is full of glitches and fourth-wall breaks, and although Blush Blush plays a major role, DDLC's Monika is partly who I based this concept on.
The yandere is adorable, and I don't trust her at all. 🤭

Hehe, I imagine this to be an alternate universe/future where games are more immersive and someone put their heart and souls into making the character in question here, only for her to gain sentience (not unlike a certain other girl we know) and now she brings us into her world in an attempt to have a relationship that she plans to make last forever! Also this is a full story, which makes me eager to see where this goes ^_^

Finally a unique isekia
When I'm feeling bored with a trope (which happens so, SO often) I try to dive into stuff that's older than what's currently out there boring me. It often ends up feeling really fresh! I know of some notable isekai anime from the 90's by reputation (Now and Then, Here and There; Escaflowne; Rayearth; Fushigi Yugi; InuYasha.) They might be a nice switch if you're interested in that sort of thing.

Don't get me wrong, DDLC deserves all the love it gets, and it's twist is well-known because it bushwacks you with the Fourth wall excellently.
But Totono plays the long game, spends hours suckering you into it's characters and world-building, and then you have to see it all fall apart Infront of you; it's heartbreaking, motivational, and freaky how the Game plays with you (in both subtle ways and a good old fashioned shattering of the fourthwall).
To be fair, Totono is kind of cheating because it's got a budget and is made by a whole team, so the production value would naturally be higher.
DDLC was made by just Dan Salvato and was for free, so it deserves it's good reputation with flying colours.
But man, between the Two, Totono is beyond incredible, and to say it did the whole "VN that breaks the FourthWall and Ingame Character falls for the Player" thing Waaaaay before anyone else in the game.
Totono came out before RUclips was popular with Reaction commentators too, it really was a wild experience to play it like a Decade Ago and just get sucked in.
