I remember I had gotten Shadow the Hedgehog from a scholastic school kids catalog back in the day. I didn’t even know it existed until about a year after it came out and flipped my lid. I really liked it at the time but couldn’t ever get back into it. The gun play was absolutely nuts
About Sonic Riders, the gameplay makes you feel so fast compared to other racing games, especially in zero gravity where the power of the gravity boost affects all the objects surrounding you to a feeling of complete power and a killer soundtrack to go with it. Why they didn’t make another game is beyond me. Mario Kart doesn’t even come close to the feeling of speed and power in Sonic Riders, yet here we are with the billionth Mario Kart game
After watching Sonic 3 I have the itch to revisit my childhood so I’m getting Sonic Adventure 1 & 2, Project 06, and Sonic x Shadow Generations on PC and I can’t be more excited
Sega has a wellspring of 3D Sonic games that deserve to be remastered or remade and instead they are incessant on releasing Sonic 1,2, and 3 over and over and over again
the story of 06 is great in my opinion, Sonic's part of the story is not great, but silver's and especially Shadow's are great thanks to the villain mephiles the dark, there is a reason that a lot of people want mephiles back as the main villain
I still love Shadow the Hedgehog, Shadow Generations is cool but the I just love the concept of Shadow the Hedgehog so much more. Shadow tried to push Sonic or at the very least Shadow into a more mature and adult direction. My biggest issue is that Shadow doesn't try enough to push the envelope. That and Shadow 05 had a lot of repetition and tedious gameplay. But I believe if they improved on the idea, they could have something legitimately really cool on their hands. It's goofy but it's sincere, making it cool again, I think it would be interesting to see more of that. Think something like DMC but for Shadow, I think it's really fitting. Sonic has a lot of cool lore and it would be so cool to see them play with it in such a way.
Sonic Adventure 2 Shadow skating animation... I love the skate boost mod but adventure 2 had a different kind of swag put on his skating, and they had that cool aurora like effect instead of jet exhaust. Literwlly go back to adventure 2 for Shadow skating and Chao world
I'm not really a fan of sa2 but I adore heroes & 05 a bunch. 05 is the reason I fell in love wit shadow as a character & I love the gameplay of both. Rivals is a really solid showcase of shadow's character & his interactions wit others(it does that for all the characters imo). I think sonic movie 3 is actually better than sa2 which surprises me but they fixed so many issues that had.

You got it backwards with the DLC for Forces and Generations. The Forces DLC was free Day 1 DLC that honestly should've just been in a software update like what Frontiers did. I don't know what they were thinking putting it on the store. Shadow Generations Movie DLC on the other hand, that's paid DLC. It costs like $5 or something. If you purchase the Deluxe Edition for early access, you get the season pass as part of that bundle, and the Movie DLC is included in that season pass.

The original Sonic colors already didn't age that well imo, and the remaster REALLY didn't do it justice You should play the DS version, it's a completely 2D game but it's extremely fun and if you like the Sonic rush games then you'll feel right at home since this game is practically rush 3
