The funny and short answer: Because he is speaking the truth! The long and ugly answer: Because he is not selling people a quick pill they can swallow to instantly get 500LP like other big LOL RUclipsrs are doing. You need time and investment in order to understand the concepts and get better at them and exactly that is what most people do not want today. Shok is putting indepth information about League out here for free and I love him for that!
I think the real reason is that most people don't take the game seriously enough to actually bother learning all the advanced things well. His content does appeal to the small niche of players who want to learn, but still have a lot to learn.
I'm so grateful you even thought about wrist problems which I have, but I never thought I would find about it in lol guides, now thanks to you I have access to good exercises to cure my pain🥺
I really think the secret to good micro is game knowledge and planning. Obviously practice comes into play on the more precise mechanics, but having the intention behind any particular action will significantly increase the effectiveness of that action. Bad micro often comes from a lack of decision making on the part of a player. Not every decision will be perfect, but decisions can be corrected in review.
Hey Shok I just wanna say thanks for the videos you are putting out, they are really helping me. I found your channel 2 days ago and I decided to focus on one concept at a time to improve. I started with your farming video and focused really hard on cs the first 10 minutes like you said and I was hitting 10 cspm for the first 10 minutes of the game. It was amazing how strong I felt with my item advantage and I took over both games when I roamed with my talon. I got MVP both games and a ton of kills. Thanks for teaching me how to do this. Keep it up and I look forward to improving with your help and eventually hitting gold.
I just discovered your channel and I've already learned so much. You're so great at explaining things; so eye-opening. I hope you blow up you deserve it! Thank you for your hard work!
"No matter who you are, what age you are, you can achieve the mechanical skill you want." This hit me hard lol. Time for me to stop making excuses and improve my mechanics!!!!
this is just insane. your video has helped me improve so much. I’ve been taking it a step at a time but my clicking, ability usage in general but especially vs mid matchups, and tethering has improved so SO much after watching this and practicing it avidly. thank you for helping me get on the right track to good fundamental mechanics!
Great video, especially the last part is no joke. I've played a lot of league, but after a year or two I started having wrist/elbow problems. I believe the main issue is my chair, that sucks and cant have good posture with it. Currently not playing that much league especially rankeds, it feels pointless with this issue. But I plan to make my setup more ergonomic and stretch more in future season :D
Thanks for this vid! I really struggle with the super fast clicking. Always get intimidated if someone has really jerky movement and I try do it too but finger just so slow x.x Might try rebind movement or get a 2nd button bound to it (like osu players, if that doesn't break tos)
i have attack move click on tab and the scoreboard above tab ..... never got to use my pinky finger properly until i changed to that setting..... its so good xD
best guide!!! May i know your finger placement on keyboard? e.g. qwer shift ctrl f1-4, etc. I use three fingers on qwer and always press wrong easily in a fast environment
I think I also do 3 fingers on QWE, I'm actually not sure though I'll have to check when I play a game, I'll try remember to include it in my settings video. I don't really use F1-4 (I use mouse buttons instead)
I don't think League APM really has a number because a lot of it will just be spam, I would just say if you're clicking enough in lane and using F keys reasonably often then that's enough.
I got a bit confused while doing kovaaks because i cant find out what sens there is similar to my ingame sens in lol, also can u recommend some specific exercises in kovaaks
I always play the Voltaic ones, any of the Voltaic clicking routines or target swapping routines can be useful for League, otherwise you could try loldodgegame
@@maikicalifornia I think you just need to choose a game that has same sens as your desktop, so if you go into Kovaaks settings and go to sensitivity scale, change it to apex legends and set sensitivity to 1.0 and your DPI to 2700 that should be the same as your desktop. At least I'm pretty sure that's how it works, let me know if that helps!
This channel is a gem! Very organized, detailed and interesting topics!!!
Wow this was really helpful, I noticed immediate improvement after watching this video.
but for what?
Why don't you have more subscribers? As a coach this is exactly the kind of content the League community needs right now

eh, I think it just takes time to get subs no matter what, but I guess doing lots of clickbait probably speeds it up
There is only one reason, and it's cuz people tend to prefer fast food rather than gourmet food

I love ghe heimer picture for this video lol
You earned a subscriber.
I don't really play league, I'm a mobile Moba player but this content is still valid. It's great!
What's with OCE and having terrific content creators
Insanely helpfull, really thanks for the knowledge u give us out here for free, mad respect and keep it up. (I'm bronze gotta grind)
Skill shot accuracy tracker would be nice
I'm right handed and I broke my right wrist in a motorcycle accident, now I play 4 games and my wrist is giving up LOL
Oof that sucks :(

What mouse DPI do you use and reccomend? I know you said windows setting 6, game setting 50. But what about your mouse software?
I use 2k dpi
Really good video! Which APM you think is considered okay? I‘m normally somewhere between 400-450.
I don't think League APM really has a number because a lot of it will just be spam, I would just say if you're clicking enough in lane and using F keys reasonably often then that's enough.
Great video! Are you planning on making an Azur guide ?
Yep! Will be doing Azir soon
i highly reccomend mobalytics proving grounds
Really helpful video, can u do a video on mid game macro, love ur content, keep it up 👍🏻
Already have!
Nice Video! I have an off-topic question. What’s your fav Ahri Skin / chroma?
Probably Spirit Blossom or Coven? Arcana Ahri splash art is really good too, hard to choose the best one haha
is spaming aram good way to imrpove mechanics?
I guess? I've never really played much aram so I'm not totally sure
What is your's DPI?
2000
Do you do coaching?
Yep there's a link in the description
U have Chanel Stream ?
twitch.tv/shoklol

@@ShokLeague ty for the advice, i play league with 2700 dpi and 50 ig, how can i use the same sens for kovaaks? having some trouble with that tbh

@@ShokLeague thanks man, ur content is bringing my motivation to climb to masters back
so is low dpi or high better for maximum apm?
high dpi better for dodging skillshots, lower dpi better for hitting skillshots. Higher dpi in theory better if you can control it
@@ShokLeague thx alot
It isn't a very good tracker, but there is a challenge that says hit x skill shots within the first x minutes or something like that. Lol
Oh that's actually a good point
Would you recommend a set character pool for beginners in mid or just try at will?
Mostly just try at will, but I talked a little bit about this in my champion pool video
What mouse do you use?
Razer trinity
You actually played competitive Apex and Starcraft with Razer naga trinity? O_O
@@StarcraftSwarm ye never had any problems
