If you guys are going to build this setup Lojkits.com makes the adapter that is the quintessential piece to the puzzle and rpmtransmissions.com adapts the factory trans. We are doing our best to get this thing done but much is out of our hands. Please keep us in your prayers! Thank you guys for the support!!
That's going to be one mean mini truck
Looking forward to seeing the s-twin fly.
I’m on the Orlando side of Florida best of luck man and keep the builds going it’s wild to see everything come together so quickly
Do you watch Gale Banks RUclips channel (Banks Power)? His latest vids deal with this ( back pressure and turbo efficiency etc. . . ) in detail like no other. Worth the watch. Like to hear what you think after watching.
Here's to hoping Dorian avoids you guys
Damn I can't wait for some boosted awd launches..
This Ain't no Boost-Launchin' tire chirpin' Good-time youtube program!
JK, 60 ft. killer 4 sure
SRAD_AJ _ this really needs a transfer case. That way it can drift in RWD and drag in AWD
@@THESLlCK I used to be able to drift my B5 series A4 pretty good for being AWD. I had the Torsen diff shimmed at a 70-30 split and had no issue sliding it. It was better at 80 rear 20 front but I lost traction on the streets though so we went to 70-30 bias. Back when I built in 07 the car ran 10.30's with a full interior, stereo etc on real street tires and drove damn near factory. It was a killer sleeper and I put almost 70k on it after the build. I was getting ready to do a LS swap but some bitch was texting in her Mercedes SUV and T boned the car totaling it.
SouthJerseySound right, but it’s better to launch in awd than rwd. Basically everyone knows that. Btw u from Jersey too?
@@THESLlCK Yeah just outside of AC,where are you from?. As for launching, at the track I had a harder time launching AWD because it dead hooks. On the street though it'd spin just enough so it wasn't as bad. Whereas my S10 is easier for me to launch but it's easier to blow off the tires. I used to cringe launching my Audi at the track holding it on the 2 step at a few grand wondering whats going to explode lol. I actually had to get a valve for the clutch to help slip it a little off the line. But once FFE in NYC got my clutch dialed in the car was brutal for what it was.
If you have to run from a hurricane before finishing the truck, name it Hurricane
Especially being built from Syclone/Typhoon lineage, it's perfect!
Hurrycane 😂
Name it Dorian! Sounds like some exotic car...
@@misterbulger I was thinking of that as well, but if a bunch of people suffer from that storm it might not be cool lol
"Hurricane" needs to be up voted to the top. That name is perfect!
I love seeing when completely different automotive worlds collide and come to help each other, us rock crawler guys steal alot of ideas from you go fast guys and it's cool to see you go fast guys supporting offroad companies like swag offroad! Keep up the awesome work
I heard you are building a Category S-10 Psiclone.
Maybe name it "Category 10"
This is what I’ve been wanting to see! I have an automatic in my 4x4 truck and love the T56 in my car. I never knew you could run a t56 to a married transfer case until seeing this build
You'd be better off running an NV4500 and tuning out the auto stuff unless your hellbent on fabrication and driveshaft changes and all that ish
@@Stealthcola How well would a NV4500 fit in a Sonoma?
I love these builds with so much tech info. Thank you Jeremy and the Fasterproms guys.
Right on Jeremy 👍 been watching your channel for a year. The production quality of your videos has improved immensely. This is my son's 7th birthday today we are enjoying your content together as always. We really like the interaction between your channel and Cleetus.Bog Deep!
Happy 7th Birthday little bogger. 😂
I LOVE this build, I've been fantasizing about building something like this since the Syclone/Typhoon era...but I lack the time, resources, and most importantly the skills to pull it off correctly. Glad to have the chance to live vicariously through your crew. Please be careful with her...she's going to be a BEAST!!!
Fat mechanics kick ass. Every shop needs one.
This build is something I can only dream of! I’ve always had dreams of building some sort of smaller pickup and making it AWD with a lot of boost but it’s so cool to see someone actually doing it! Love the channel, it’s come a long way from when I started watching!
LS Fest or not you and the boys stay safe there Jeremy and don't forget to double-check the emergency doggos supplies
✌️🏼💚😁
at least the doggos will have supplies. Just mountain dew for the humans tho.
Father time, you are the most humble guy on RUclips, I always try to catch all your videos, your vast wealth of knowledge and positive attitude make you such an enjoyable guy to watch. LOVE this s10 build!
Absolutely falling more and more in love with this build every time I get the notification!😏💯
On top of everything, you guys just be careful. Take care of yourselves and your families. We will still be here.
I love when Parts boxes come-in it's feels like Christmas time except you know what you're getting
depends how much shit you order haha
I’m in Jacksonville FL so I’m keeping a close eye on that beast too hopefully it loses a lot of strength and everyone is safe
That is sweet, be safe get your stuff battened down for the storm and I will be hoping it s a smaller storm than they are predicting. See you on the other side of the storm 🇺🇸
So glad Garrett talked you into starting a channel. I love this build and all the tech info.
adam lebednik his channel is like 4 years old at least, but I know what you mean, he’s really taken off in the last year or so
This truck is Awesome can't wait to see it going , oh I have Family and Friends that live in Florida , and I will be praying for y'all to keep you all safe and free from harm and danger . God Bless .
Be safe Brother, after living thru Hugo and Andrew I moved way up north to get away from the threat of hurricanes.
And to think that the time it takes to launch that motor/trans which is ~5-6ft * 10ft is
Jeremy those wheels look insane...the way you have paid attention to detail..is gona make a MASSIVE difference in performance
Lots of good progress on the truck. Hopefully it stays towards the east coast. Stay safe guys. Watching that hurricane like a hawk being a SWFL resident myself.
Jeremy you should try putting the radiator on the c-pillar bed rails. That's where 900hp trophy trucks run them for good air flow. Also it would look sick
Yall are a bunch of characters but I love it because so am I haha. I can really tell how much each of you love the game and it really shows in your work. Keep it up guys this build is going to be so rad! Much love from the opposite side of the country up here in Washington State! Cant wait to see this thing rip down that 1320ft!!!!!
Stay safe guys! As much as we're all looking forward to the end of (this phase of) the build, it would be far better to miss this years LS Fest than push your luck!
Thanks for all the great videos and please keep safe with the potential hurricane coming. I have family in orlando and Miami. I hope everyone there stays safe!
You seem like a fulfilled man. I'm happy that this channel is having the success that it is.
Stay safe in the hurricane guys! I live in Orlando, so we’re lookin down the barrel of the same gun here!! But stay safe, thanks to everyone for the awesome content!
Parachute trailer hitch mount, removable for added space loaded on the trailer plus it protects the mount and chute being removable.
The s10 is coming along nicely. Please don't ever stop putting the Golden's at the end of your videos. They are very very bueatiful dogs. I love golden retriever's.
Please stay safe when Hurricane Dorian hits. They are saying it will make landfall as a CAT 4 and still be a CAT 1 going through Florida. I live in hawaii and been through 3 major Hurricanes and seeing the devistation. Iniki being the worst back in the early 90s. At least you guys can keep driving in the opposite direction. Here in hawaii, the island is only so big so we cant go very far. Lol.
I hope you guys stay safe with the hurricane. Ill pray for you all. Hope you guys have a good labor day weekend
Love this build, I hope the hurricane stays away from you guys 🤞🇦🇺
Much love coming from hawaii. Keep up the great builds!!!
Get like a bunch of LS powered fan boats and blow the storm away.
This channel is getting better by leaps and bounds. Keep up the great work y'all! Hell Yeah Brothers
I think it's Kool your wife is helping & is into the same stuff as you are! She seems kool to let enjoy your toys & life! God bless yal!
That trans adaptor is sick can't believe the length of it with it all together
Thanks Jeremy, stay safe I will be right here with you just over the bridge.
Thanks for keeping us all in the loop and stay safe. Thing should be a all around do everything beast when done and everyone there has fun and respects each other.
I love this build
Hi guys, loving this build! Not sure if you have considered it, by why not use the tray tailgate as a radiator mount, i.e. hollow out the centre, bit like a picture frame - enables the rest of the gaps to be filled, gives you a mount for radiator and fans, somewhere for the parachute and, if you weld it in permanently, it'll stiffen up the tray. Just a thought!
good luck with the bad weather bhys hope nothing gets beat up in the storms!
You should put the E-brake on a completely separate set of lines so if you have a line bust (I know this very rarely happens but hey) you have a backup, enjoying the content tho :)
Keep up the good work and above all be safe....Dorian may become a cat 4 and peter out to a cat 1 by the time it gets over to Clearwater but always better to be safe than sorry. I was getting excited to see you guys at Beach bend with all the progress and hard work that you have put into the "FranKen" St10 build but we can wait. We'll definitely keep you and all the people of FLA. in our prayers.
This is hands down the coolest project I have ever seen. You guys are doing great!
13:56 Laz is a BEAST! Turns that thing like its nothing!
Keep the updates coming Jeremy...bless you brother
You know, i do not think there is enough mountain dew in that shop......someone send more.
They probably have enough to ride out the hurricane
I keep thinking... What if it were all beer... I might be an alcoholic...
@@popwarhomie I'd take beers over mountain dews, always nice to have a beer when working on a project car
Bless your shop and everyone in it !
You and Garrett have the best builds!!!! So excited to see what this truck becomes/does!!!!!
Awesome build so far. Hope you all stay safe.
Praying for you guys and Florida
I’m finishing my 89 IROC AWD project right now. I’m using a 4l60e from Mad Dog, the awd transfer case from a 2008 Escalade. The front differential was the biggest headache until I took a close look at the awd Chrysler LX cars (300 & Charger), their front diffs are small and easy to mount. Then came the hubs, which are Evo 8-9 pieces welded to the stock hubs after the the spindle was cut off and machined out. After spending time with my favorite tape measurer I’ve found that for drive axles I can use the factory 300c cv on the drivers side and a 2011 pass side cv from a 2011 G-wagon. Both cv units are on their way to me right now so with any luck I’ll be on the road by this time next week
Will be keeping you guys and all of florida in my prayers! Be safe. Loving this series!!
aftermarket truck transfer adapter corvette something something... what cave have I been living in. holy cow that is awesome. That outpu shaft seem small. stay safe for the big storm.
Gotta be named Hurricane. Plus, I think you guys will be safe from this storm. Us folks on the East Coast may be in for a ride though.
Hope you guys and doggos will be ok and all the cars as well stay safe from the weather
@fasterproms i know a lil late but you can get a tig torch with the power on a finger/thumb lever to control power like pedal... disgned for welding in tight spots like fabing rolecages
Keep safe guys, don't risk it for the biscuit. Love your channel and want to see it back after the hurricane passes.
Be safe guys. Loving this build.
I love the way you expedite your videos. For those type a personalities out here it works. Keep up the good work guys
WOW!! Having trouble grasping what I just saw... been building same setup for almost eight years labor of love 1980 turbo regal. Wow
First time viewer. I'm really liking the parts and fab that are going into this beast. Need to go back and watch the previous ones... Using a trailblazer SS front diff?
Go watch from the beginning. S10 diffs.
Nice electrode stick @8:50ish. If you loved George, you'd tell him about a little thing called push-button TIG controls... It's kind of a big deal for awkward, "I'm just going to run the pedal with my elbow" situations...
If you brought 2 bars from the sides of the back bars to a point in back center of the bed you could use as a mount for chute and stabalized mount for radiator and fans
Hey guys I hope you stay safe and not too much damage is done . You will be in our thoughts, from Oklahoma.
9:43 broke my favorite coffee mug! No more opera! EVER!
Stay safe and be sure you take care of yourself and your family's. cant wait to see this finished tho
Wow........that table chock full of goodies is like a "mechanical Thanksgiving". This project just keeps getting better!!!
Goldens earned you a like, love that breed! best dog a man/woman can have
Jeremy, have you thought about a trailer hitch/parachute mount? Kills two birds with one stone. Gives you a solid parachute mount to the frame that is detachable and gets you setup for Rocky Mountain Race Week, Drag Week, towing blown up vehicles from the burnout pits at Cleetus events, etc...
Careful with the hurricane brother, keep up the amazing content!
Yeah, loved how the wind started blowing just as he was wrapping up talking about it. :)
You will get a category 1 by the time it makes it to the west coast. We live in Fort Myers and it sucks because the power might go out so that means no dialysis, a life saving treatment that we might not get next week.
UnderDogs, "YOU CAN DO IT " LS Fest for sure....
I know you guys were trying to hit LS for your own reasons and for some of the fans. But really, you guys are flying and I wouldn’t mind seeing even more details of the truck being built instead of built in haste. I’m in Lakeland, we are stocked up on Mt. Dew and Rum, do no hurricane worries 60miles east of you lol.
Really enjoyable to watch this build processes
in Gale Banks's channel, they are testing a duramax, and they have a turbo that puts out 25 PSI of boost with only 20PSI of drive pressure. the impeller and the compressor are the same size.
The bottom canard makes a car stick to tje road for a magnetic affect. The up slope on yours, with the radiators fan pushing volumes of air of the end. WILL push away the aerodynamic suction affect that holds cars back. There's a video that explains the aerodynamics I mentioned above.
The was a road course race car banned for having dual fans on it's tail. Nobody could keep up. Make sure your exhaust exits are in that flow that line too. You won't need much of that wing in the straight line. Might need some ballast though.
The chapparal if I’m not mistaken
You inspired me to get a 93 S10 with the money i had after i sold my other truck and i only dream of it looking that good. Also in Florida and hope maybe I will see it at a show or Cleetus and Cars once its finished. Their beautiful trucks for the era and its literally a go kart that can go 100 or so factory 😂
And obviously by looks i mean the whole race car set up lol but it is in better shape than mine appearance wise too. 😂
Just to be safe if you do have to barricade the building make sure all the bays has sand so water doesn't leak threw the bottom of the doors, God bless Jeremy be safe and hopefully nothing goes wrong with any of the equipment you guys have plus the customers vehicle's in there. Cars and equipment can be replaced that's why everyone has insurance but doing safety precautions can help prevent that, but your safety and your co-workers plus family comes first.
you have to look at S1Sequential. They sell a shifter that is very affordable option for the sequential feature on a T-56 -future upgrade ! but you DO remember the Vette with the full sequential box with no-lift ? this shifter is 1500 bux and replaces the stock shifter ! check them out
Obviously you have one of those jobs that you love; I bet it's hard to pull yourself away from work... It's make a huge difference in your quality of life when you love what you do. I only wish everyone could experience this...
If you don't make it to LS Fest oh well there be another one next year what's most important is you guys being safe God bless 🙏 and take cover if you need
Pretty ambitious. That’s a extensive build to finish qwikly Good Luck. It’s coming out insane
you guys need to get everyone in the shop to lay down next to the trans setup and do a faster proms calendar.
I’ll be in flemming Island with my mom due to her having surgery to repair a broken fibula in her right leg so I’ll be in the mess with you guys
🙏 Prayers for you all with this hurricane and it looking like it's bearing down on you all. Hopefully it won't hit with you with to much devastation. Maybe you all should get that fan boat going, just in case you guys need it. I'd tell you to try to get cletus's tracker going, but well... that hasn't bugged deep yet, LOL probably safer with the fan boat. 😉
I really hope you guys make it through hurricane Dory my prayers are with you all and God bless you all and be safe and I will be thinking of you and praying for you all
I enjoy technical explanations and all but I would really enjoy seeing more work that's done on the cars.
Evacuate😂 us Floridians never back down. I'll be at home watching roofs get ripped off. Lol stay safe.
Evacuate? We're in Ohio and my cousin and his wife are heading TO Florida. They're supposed to arrive just in time for the storm. It's a vacation trip. lol
Dang Jeremy, I posted you'd need a parachute mount when you cut off the last cross member of the frame. How about putting in a class 3 trailer hitch, and make a 2 by 2 mount for a parachute with it. This way you are set to tow a trailer, when you go on the Rocky Mountain Race Tour with Cleetus and the gang next year. You know you'll want to show off your work.
Oh it would be sick to put some fiberglass prerunner bedsides and front fenders on it. It would look a lot meaner than fender flares to cover the tires.
I love the build. Exactly what I want to do but with my 01 jeep cherokee. :) cant wait to see her rip!
Nice, going to be a beast. Patience pays of tho.be safe out thire this weekend
So much respect for this build! Y'all are making me want to do a manual swap in my awd 6.0 escalade asap. Although I doubt my wife would be as supportive as yours when it comes to modding our beloved Cadillac lol
Good luck weathering the storm!
I'd like to see a close up of that rear caliper set up... Still an awesome build !!!
