As a Bengals fan, Nick can be a little infuriating with his Chiefs fandom. But he’s right. He’s given Burrow and the Bengals props every year since 2021.
If the chiefs don’t make the SB I want Burrow to win it.

Buffalo hasnt been able to run the ball in 5 years. McDermott has neglected the offensive line his entire tenure. That, on top of Josh Allen being a turnover machine the last years. They ask him to do way too much. He is the passing game and the running game. I think they have to move from McDermott to be competitive
the coaching is the issue. everyone can play, no one is terrible, but the performances are terrible. even when they have winning seasons like a few years ago, the shaky moments look the same as the worst moments from this season. it all comes from the coaching

The problem is when we claim to only have Allen and Diggs on offense, every OTHER FAN says it's BS but glad its YOU ALL who are finally realizing this.....

Going into the season this was a great roster. On the offense, you got Allen and Diggs obviously, but now Kincaid is blooming as a more than capable second option. Good running back, good TE2, and some decent enough receivers after that. The only big issue would be the offensive line but they’re playing better than they have the past couple years. Buffalo’s offense has 8-9/10 talent. Now onto the defense, they were DOMINANT for the first 4 weeks when everyone was healthy. Easily a top 3 defense on paper and they were definitely playing like it. That’s 10/10 talent. Then 6 injured starters later on the D and they’re mediocre at best. It’s unfortunate but this is the case and now they’re like a 4-5/10. And the offense doesn’t have too many major injuries right now, but Ken Dorsey is somehow even worse than he was last year so the offense is playing like a 6/10 lately. It’s honestly really sad. Just missed opportunities left and right for this team.
The Bills remind me of the Bengals in the Palmer Era, everyone thought the Bengals had a chance each year but they never did.

Hurts and Allen have been pretty similar this season in terms of the big time dual threat plays that help their teams score big but also result in turnovers. Philly of course has the better receivers and, more importantly, the run game.

Almost every sports commentator predicted the Bills to lose to the Bengals. We only lost by 6 and our banged up defense kept them under 30 points. At the end of the day, this loss should not surprise anyone.

One big issue is they need to allow Josh to have a better “supporting cast” while still having him do the Superman thing so he has great weapons to bounce use outside of Diggs, and play at a high level. Also having a defensive coordinator that can really fix the defensive woes would also help. Hopefully they allow fornette and cooks a good amount of touches. Then looking at possibly getting a complimentary WR. Hopkins, Adams, or something.

I’m not gonna say the window is completely closed for the bills. As long as they have Allen and Diggs they have a chance, but god its ridiculous how crazy they have regressed in 2 years. Last season they were great up until the bye week and after the bye we were seeing the same kind of play we have this season. Definitely need a better OC because Dorsey just sucks, then some actual good WRs besides Diggs, and then a better O-line.

The ultimate humbling of Nick Wright isn't the success of the Bengals it's the success of the Ravens who he didn't even pick to make the playoffs. While he says that Joe Burrow is by far better than Lamar Jackson and it's not even close and that Ravens are no threat in the playoffs. Nick Wright's biggest nightmare would be Ravens winning the Super Bowl not the Bengals because of how much he raves about Burrow. The way he's turn into one of the biggest skeptics of Lamar saying Caleb Williams is already better than him and saying he's not good enough to even get 7th seed heading into season, that would be ultimate humble pie

Give Douglas time to adjust from Green Bay to Buffalo. It's been a few days and I feel he will be a big help for defense. Offense is the main problem. Miami game showed its capabilities when done right, but Allen needs to be freed and able to run and move out the pocket to give that unpredictability. They also need to establish their main receivers, which should not be Gabe Davis. He did absolutely nothing these last few games. Diggs, Shakir and Kincaid need to be main points. And when Knox comes back and gets healthy, he needs to be utilized more.
