very decent cost for a clean nice place. especially where it is located and with great facilities. understand the smaller size for a decent price. I could stay there for a few weeks easily. including a decent breakfast is so good too. Then see what a brilliant long term charity doing so much for over fifty years why. Helping out with schooling and a decent meal for kids in need.
That is a great cause. So many places the children are forgotten and left to learn on their own . A great cause ! You are great to help them with an aggressive program.😊

I love that Holiday Inn Express. When IHG has promos, including fast-track to diamond status, the fine print says that the cheapest room rate allowable is US$30/night. That hotel can be just a tiny bit over that, so it's one of the cheapest places in the world to rack up IHG nights for promos.
I think you are confusing Holiday Inn Express with Holiday Inn. The latter is the original hotel chain, with more bells & whistles, catering to family vacation goers. The former is the less expensive, less frills chain, catering to the solo business traveler.
Holiday Inn express has an egg station. That is a good change. The bad part is that they no longer accept points most of the time for stays. It used to be a good deal using points. The Rayong holiday inn express still accepts points. Education. I taught students for 15 years. Most were from very rich families. Sadly, there are few good jobs for the less advantaged students even if they are outstanding students. The rich kids have the connections through their families. It's not just twenty-two kindergartens with over two thousand kids, it's another two hundred and fifty kids sponsored all the way through their university education. It's five orphanages with one hundred and forty kids, forty of them born with HIV. And it's numerous other community services that the Thai government won't provide.

I've stayed at that Holiday Inn Express for a few days. And the breakfast was not bad at all.
Have stayed there a few times. No balcony in any room. Pretty decent breakfast. Probably the best hotel for the money in that area.

Holiday in express seems a good price for where it is and what you get …. Always thought it would be more expensive
Stayed here, twice. Way better than Travelodge. A bit more expensive tho; I paid closer to 2000.
Holiday inn express is good value in my opinion , especially in Singapore.
But it in Bangkok I prefer to cheap Charlie at Ruamchitt plaza hotel.
The Holiday Inn Express opened in August 2019, but if you want the better experience The Holiday Inn opened on Beach Road in 2009.
The Holiday Inn is generally 3 times the price and doesn't include breakfast. (Unless you have diamond status or lounge access.)
