      Thanks for watching man! 😎🤟🏻. It’s a pretty meaty guitar. Solars are solid options for rock players. 😁

    Sounds amazing🎸🎸 I also have 3 Solar guitars are they are outstanding. I also have ESP LTD EC-1000 with Evertune and it’s amazing. I have a few people who don’t like Solar because they don’t have fret markers on the board but I don’t mind it!!🎸🎸👍🏻👍🏻

      They are pretty cool man! Talk about stability. And they don’t impact the tone negatively or anything. Very revolutionary!

      Thanks! It’s not my favorite shape they offer but it’s nice. Plays very well too. Solar are a very good brand … they have a lot of options at a good price. And always come out with new stuff. Fun company.

    OCD for 30 dollars is the pedal deal of the century. I don’t think they’ll ever get like Klons but people will probably be stupid about them for a little bit. I got an OCD and a SD1 the OCD is a really nice OD in my opinion.

    lol } I seen that ola stop by real fast, as he chugged his coffee. Not a bad looking guitar, I would never own 1, but that's just me. Cool riffing Marty, ever bothered to learn some Trower? Bridge of Sighs maybe? I remember raising the needle on and off to learn some of that stuff. Yikes!

      Never learned Trower but appreciate his playing! Yeh this Solar is a bit weird looking. It’s a good guitar. Evertunes are unique. I have 13’s on this. It’s tuned to drop c#. It does what it’s intended to do. Interesting technology.

      I'm saving right now for a gorgeous Gibson SJ-200 Western Classic Mustache
      Vintage Sunburst. I am just about their as I am on the payment plan of $217 a month, for a $7k guitar. I told my wife, I will never buy another guitar in life after this 1. I was hoping to have it before my 61st birthday on the 7th, but no such deal, looks like Nov, is the prize. A man can't always have what he wants when he wants it. lol

      It’s is actually for heavy handed guys. You can set it up so there is no wobble or pitch change. Slam it as hard as you like. Great for tracking. 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻

    What???? When did Gibson make a Solar? OK I'll be nice you don't have your Gibson shirt on anyway.. But to be fair what would that guitar cost if it was a Gibson? My reason for being down on Gibson. You got a deal on that because it isn't a Gibson. Can you imagine a Les Paul with a Evertune for $500.00?

    • @Ranch5150SkinWalker
      @Ranch5150SkinWalker  2 года назад

      I don’t think Gibson (or fender or prs) will ever install evertune bridges. Not sure what the cost would be.

      @@Ranch5150SkinWalker That is the thing why I became anti Gibson (but I kept the ones I owned) and to some degree down on Fender. Gibson would put it on a signature if they decided it would bring 4K. Its all about the money and if some big name would sigh off on it. Boom there it is. For a guitar that is overpriced at 2K a artist name and a new feature gets the double price. Its not the Guitars I dislike its the management and direction they took after the "rescue". That entire Play Authentic fiasco turned me off big time. You bought a guitar at a great price and it serves your needs. Nothing wrong with that regardless of brand. I don't like the logo on the Fret board and perhaps that did cause some of the cracking owners have had. To be fair I recently bought a EVH Wolfgang from Sweetwater that had cracks in the Fret board at a half price price. But I had a spare Wolfgang neck just in case. The baked Maple neck got too baked! I oiled it like you would anything else and its perfectly fine now. Some pieces of wood just can't be that dry it seems. With all the brands using baked necks I think you may see more cracks. Some may say you can't oil that wood. But it worked and saved the neck and to be honest it plays better oiled. I may do others that way but I will let it "play out".

      @@Jaloja if it plays good I like it. I have no qualms with Fender or Gibson or any company. If a guitar resonates with me and I can afford i, then I get it. At the end of the day, how it works for me is all that I care about. I could care less about companies and what they say or do. All my Gibsons are nice. All my Fenders are too. My Solars are very good as well. Nothing compares to my Murphy Lab Bourbon Burst and my EVH Frankie. Those 2 guitars have the mojo. My American pro II strat as well. Just amazing.
      I have zero time to get caught up in business models etc, images, marketing blah blah. I only care what the guitar does for me. Nothing else matters.
