That was Mr and Mrs Puffton, the man in the helicopter was you from the first game and the younger guy in the elevator that got on helicopter was Timmy, glad you found the Glider its so cool, keep on rockin GE.
The guy in the helicopter is the character you play in the first forest game, and the other guy is actually little Timmy all grown up now

I thought the character you play in the first forest game was the older man in the cutscene telling timmy to “get down son” before being shot in the back
@@njgrizztv Yes that`s right, the older man is your character from the first forest game and the younger man in the chopper is little Timmy, sry that i didn`t specify wich person on the chopper was who
The glider is near where you crash land in the snowy area. The old dude that shouts at the kid is Eric LeBlanc. The "son" is little Timmy all grown up. You can actually get one of the books that is written by Tim LeBlanc in the first bunker with the 3D printer. The computers in the bunkers have also been updated with some information about the story on them. And some of the papers and books picked up has been updated. The binoculars is actually good for spying on the cannibal camps from far away, especially now with new interactions among them in camp.
There are actually 11 locations for the glider across the island.

You could probably build a rudimentary but very tall tower to use as a launch pad for the glider. You could ascend the tower quickly with the rope gun.

How did you manage to make the defence wall gate?? I didnt think it was in the game. If you have it, could you please share a link to the video of you building it.
Just walk up to your solid wall with a log in hand, it will show a diagonal outline on the wall, you can have a single or double gate.

The fire is broken for some reason for me. I can only add firewood one time and it will not let me do it again. Very frustrating for sure.
For all of chat information the end of Forest two is a placeholder the same as that they had in the first game they're going to be changing the ending

Build a giant tower at your base to launch off of
GE (or anyone) how do you access the book that shows you how to build items, skull stick lamp, ramps, walls, fires & such, i can only access the one handbook that has basic things to make by pressing B... if its the same book mine might be broken, lol
Press and hold x to swap construction books.
Can you put the skull lanterns that you use in your base in the caves for lighting

I have to say..that game pause whilst rummaging around in your unfeasibly large inventory is lame and I hope they tweak the npcs to be a lot more dangerous. Not to put down your fighting skills but they really could be a little bit more lethal. Still..early access and all that. Good to see your take on it though. I admire the range of games you put out there GE, big and small, early access, the lot.... cheers
you can STILL eat them from the shelves and the ground you dont need to open inventory to eat one to loot the one on the ground !!!! arggggggggggg :P

Please use your damn flashlight and stop using the lighter like you would in the original The Forest. The lighter is basically useless and the mechanic of using it as a light source needs to be removed from the game.
