It's amazing to show how ahead his skill is on older maps like these, especially AR5/6 maps with 3mod with such high accuracy like Ryuuseigun or Kumikyoku and still the only 3mod FC on the map yet.
I have a gut feeling that the low playcount has factored in a crapton into the map barely having FCs today. It's been ranked for 9+ years now and it still only has a 6 digit playcount. Also, old maps in general just turn most people away, so the lack of interest as a whole kinda guarantees that no FCs would be seen for a long time.
This is why we question the current landscape of the game... back then people REALLY did not care about pp. A play like this would generate hype simply because it was difficult, not because it gave pp. The community was interested in what kind of scores could be set instead of playing the ranking system.
Every play have it's own skillset to do and KIRBY MiX need a lost in the dust skillset because of it's old and linear pattern which most of the playerbase now don't have the skill to do it.

i kinda feel like those maps are really underplayed nowadays so there is potential for good scores by other players too
