Why was this deleted???? Bebe's life in Camaroon is the most interesting backstory in this season! I was actually waiting for a moment like this! Hope we get to know more about her family.
I'm thinking it's cause she won't win. And the producers don't want the audience rooting for someone, they decided won't win. That's not interesting to them, viewer-wise. They don't wan't elimination controversies anymore. That's my thought.
This should be included in the actual episode! Come on VH1, this is an important message for those who are living in places that are not even safe to be who they are!
Marcus Salisbury the only reason i can think is that this was the first regular 60 minute episode of the season, and they ran out of time. Tbh the whole episode felt really rushed ESPECIALLY the runway oml
+LiteBriite its the producers who do the editing but it is a shame they don't talk about bebe being gay african more i think she is the only queen or only popular person in media to do so
OR MAYBE, keep both? Like the episode was 40 minutes instead of 1 hour, i feel robbed of 20 minutes of workroom talk and drama and touching backstory. Where's the character developement this season?
Exactly! Three seasons in, I could see someone saying, "Bebe, you're a mole." "No, I'm not." "You've been a mole the past three seasons." "This time, it's different, trust me."
Bebe, is that girl. THAT fucking girl. Such a talented, gorgeous, woke, funny, and EXCELLENT black queen. I am so happy she is back. Another day, another fucking slay and she is legendary mother. Period.
No way she's actually competing. She has a role to play though, just wait for it. I'm glad she's back too, she deserves to be ruintroduced to the young fans
I'm really really mad this wasnt in the final cut of the episode. more African voices being denied a platform. Bebe has an incredible story. imagine African viewers that may have stumbled upon the show but will never see this clip.
I feel like they cut this out the episode because they don't wanna get political even though moments like this are important. I think with this show being so mainstream now moments like this need to be shown more.
I don't believe they're afraid to get political, come on. That's not the reason, they (producers) love the other stuff more - drama moments - an scenes like this get cut for Shangela being mad at Trix over Thorgy's letter. Ru has never been afraid to be or get political EVER
To be specific, I don’t think anyone WANTS to be a minority, i.e., an LGBT person or Black. You just are who you are, and everyone should naturally be ABLE to be themselves without fear of death or violence or hatred. Little boys playing with girl toys do it like it’s nothing until the bully comes along and ruins that fun. And that bully could be an adult or another child. RuPaul discusses this many times. "Tortured, sensitive, innocent souls" who saw their innocence shattered for simply "coloring with all the colors in the crayon box". I do get what you were saying though! I just think the way this topic is worded is important. It shouldn’t be a question of "wanting" to do or "be" anything or some "way". I never said I wanted to be gay. Why? And how do you do that? You don’t force yourself to like someone. Even as friends. If the energy is right, you go with it. If you’re not into it, like me with females, lol, I’m likely not going to go with that! Hahaha. Feelings aren’t chosen, just as orientation is a feeling, attraction is a natural feeling we all have. Most of us. There are asexuals, of course, and they deserve their own space and recognition, as well. But most of us LGBT would likely agree to be straight if there were a magical potion or pill made available! 🤣 But I understand what you meant. 😊
"@payneem" why are you here? Anyway, Bebé is bringing the fashion and culture and positivity side of Cameroonian culture to the global perspective. Shall we stop promoting the positives of west African culture, then? 🤔
THIS I want to see. Bebe came off as snobbish and above everyone, but THIS, this is the Bebe I wanted to see and get introduced to. I love when the queens are having fun whilst being educational, and Bebe had so many important points here. So disappointing that it wasn't included.
Well NOW it's on VH1 in 2018. Gays,Straight men, women and people of all color watch. It's more of a product now so has to reach to broder audiences. And it seems from the reaction the people that do watch it LIIVVEE for it. Such as Snatch Game where you may not be familiar with some characters.
I''ve known Bebe since 2007 we have worked together on production video to get her on the show, she is a beautiful hardworking human being with alot of love in her heart.
In most. Its illegal in 9 of the 17 in the region and is punishable by death in Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Yemen. Also, fun fact (nots so fun) Iran probably has the highest rates of transsexual procedures cause of this fact, cause it is illegal to be a gay man, but not illegal to be a transsexual women, so gay men are basicly having to choose between death or forced sexual reassignment surgery.
it should be reminded, american gays take everything for granted and choose to complain over there instead of helping gays in the middle east and africa
I started watching Drag Race during Season 3 but since went back and watched season 2. I was never able to find a way to watch season 1 and I’m just LOVING getting to know Bebe Zahara Benet and I’m really hoping she wins!! I hope she’s at Drag Con too!!!
drag rce isnt just about T, shade and oh yes hanny slaay! backstories and different excperiences and cultures are so important and interesting! remember that VH1
Bebe is class, grace, elegance... every single positive word I can think of. She's stunning, so talented, the culture she brings to drag race is so unique and she is amazing.
I can't explain why I like it so much but Bebes accent is so satisfying to listen to. Like the way she says "politically" and enunciates so much, she's giving actual royalty vibes. No wonder everyone respected her too much to eliminate her
This is so well-spoken and finally sheds light on something that people forget. For as much as the US finds itself locked in political turmoil, we can still find ways to openly advocate and express the complexities of the human experience. We can’t just disregard it all entirely. Should’ve been included in the episode.
I love these deleted clips that shows each drag queens stories and experiences and regardless of colour, religions etc where they accept you in a community and if more people where like that then the world could really become a better place
One of the biggest reasons why I found AS3 so hard to enjoy was because there was little to no community or heart or stories like this in the Werkroom scenes. It was all suspicion and betrayal and it just got to be too much for me. Like yes, gimme that juicy drama, but when I start feeling like the girls just straight up hate each other, I lose connections between them like this. Milk and Trixie's friendship, Bebe's and Aja's lil friendship, all of those relationships were overlooked by all the aggressiveness the show chose to focus on.
I am serious!! I have visited the East Coast (in USA) a lot and especially I have always meet Africans and mostly from Cameroon and Nigeria. Very beautiful people- inside and out!!
All the best scenes are deleted. This scene alone is bringing forth drag from a culture that has little to no drag or lgbtq+ influence due to it being taboo or is obscured. Bringing something like this up educates people and encourages them to come out and be themselves and in turn be accepted. While it might not be accepted everywhere, it still educates people on the lgbtq+ community
Adding this would’ve made Bebe looked like an actual person and not just like oh I got the first crown I’m better than you and motha is gonna give me a second crown
I wish that the episode had been a full hour instead of 40 minutes so this could've been in the final cut. Since they're doing all hour-long episodes on season 10, I hope it's successful and they continue it for all the future seasons of drag race.
Christopher Perez It was announced that all episodes in season 10 will air for 90 minutes, so the episodes will all be a full hour instead of 40 minutes.
Exactly what I love the most about Miss Bebe is the fact that yet Cameroon is not the most accepting & in fact many in Cameroon believe gays should be executed ( like how she received threats tone "buried alive" during the S1 reunion), she doesn't define those views on the whole nation & shows her cultural pride in EVERYTHING she does!
OK well we need more of this, we need to more of RuPaul’s drag race more truth more reality we need more of this they should’ve been involved in a segment of the show
Why was this deleted???? Bebe's life in Camaroon is the most interesting backstory in this season! I was actually waiting for a moment like this! Hope we get to know more about her family.
Ikr? When Bebe won season 1 she got death threats from people in her country. They should really air these moments of her talking about all of this
I'm thinking it's cause she won't win. And the producers don't want the audience rooting for someone, they decided won't win. That's not interesting to them, viewer-wise. They don't wan't elimination controversies anymore. That's my thought.
😂😂😂 I'm sorry I just can't get over Camaroon
She talks about herself too much and is not that fun.
This should be included in the actual episode! Come on VH1, this is an important message for those who are living in places that are not even safe to be who they are!
lol not VH1's fault. But the DR producers tho...yea they shoulda kept this in
You're a Jinkx fan AND you like Sally Face? I'm subscribing!
Give me one good reason why this was not included in he actual episode.
Marcus Salisbury the only reason i can think is that this was the first regular 60 minute episode of the season, and they ran out of time. Tbh the whole episode felt really rushed ESPECIALLY the runway oml
Marcus Salisbury bc ru doesnt support black queens to the fullest sadly
+LiteBriite its the producers who do the editing but it is a shame they don't talk about bebe being gay african more i think she is the only queen or only popular person in media to do so
Ads
lmao y'all are so racist, its clearly cause they showed to much political stuff, too much for tv
this should have made it to the actual episode, cut off some of shangelas GoT references and add this?
Sam Smith 🤣🤣🤣
OR MAYBE, keep both? Like the episode was 40 minutes instead of 1 hour, i feel robbed of 20 minutes of workroom talk and drama and touching backstory. Where's the character developement this season?
Sam Smith this comment is everything 🤣 those GOT refferences need to stop
omg dont cut Shangela!! She is bringing it! no wonder they wanted her on the show. Good entertainment.
oh yes please, enough of those inaccurate references
If Bebe is a mole, she should be a mole on every season from now on, because I just adore everything about her.
xingcat agreed
But then they would know she was a mole
We never said she'd be a "good" or "effective" mole
Exactly! Three seasons in, I could see someone saying, "Bebe, you're a mole."
"No, I'm not."
"You've been a mole the past three seasons."
"This time, it's different, trust me."
Preach
this is beautiful. idk why it wasnt included. it was funny and charming and interesting.
Totally agree! It’s so nice to hear the queens talk genuinely
Because they want trixie to win
@@DylanHopo I never fell for that with her. I always loved Bebe
Cause of the shady edits
Camerooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooon!
Bebe, is that girl. THAT fucking girl. Such a talented, gorgeous, woke, funny, and EXCELLENT black queen. I am so happy she is back. Another day, another fucking slay and she is legendary mother. Period.
You're that gurl, i knew you were.
you just used 'woke' unironically...
She is everything.
fucking love bebe
Hopefully we start getting more Bebe scenes for the rest of the season. I feel like we barely get to see her
Why did they remove this moment?? Bebe is giving us depths, opens up about her past and puts important topics on the table!
Editing much?!
Bebe is such a PROFESSIONAL.
out of respect for... 😂😂😂
I need more of bebe and trixie
YESSS considering how her first drag outside was in Bebe's show way back
@@fatihhh2719 wait really? That's full circle 🥺
Bebe is a beautiful queen and an Inspiration ❤❤❤
It's deleting scenes like this that's giving Bebe (y'know, an actual winner) the Kandy Ho edit, and it's not cute.
Taylor she isn't really a contestant. She is the mole.
That's all just rumours.
I don't buy that theory one bit. You read The Handmaids Tale? The "eye" as it's called in the book is a small plot point.
she IS an eye
No way she's actually competing. She has a role to play though, just wait for it. I'm glad she's back too, she deserves to be ruintroduced to the young fans
I'm really really mad this wasnt in the final cut of the episode. more African voices being denied a platform. Bebe has an incredible story. imagine African viewers that may have stumbled upon the show but will never see this clip.
00:15 how cute is the fact that Trixie brought a bunch of photos of her and Katya to the show? Luuuv
Gosia Patalas YASSSSSS
This should’ve been on the actual episode.
This needed to be in the episode
I feel like they cut this out the episode because they don't wanna get political even though moments like this are important. I think with this show being so mainstream now moments like this need to be shown more.
Takara Kelly true but it’s so important to share these stories and make ppl aware of what’s happening around the world

In what way is he representing Africa that Africa should be proud of him? Pls kindly say that u are proud of him.

why do they delete scenes like this but keep in Shangela’s game of thrones references that none of the gays get...?
nyctores xx ikr i don't even watch game of thrones so I have no idea who she's referencing 😂😂
nyctores xx You shouldn't generalize like that.
Well NOW it's on VH1 in 2018. Gays,Straight men, women and people of all color watch. It's more of a product now so has to reach to broder audiences. And it seems from the reaction the people that do watch it LIIVVEE for it. Such as Snatch Game where you may not be familiar with some characters.
all the gays that i know watch or read GoT..
Same with the full drama. Enough with the contrived drama.
CAMEROON 🙌🏼👏🏼
I love Bebe and Trixie, ahhh, this part made my heart melt
I''ve known Bebe since 2007 we have worked together on production video to get her on the show, she is a beautiful hardworking human being with alot of love in her heart.
Does he mention the fact that the penalty for being gay in Cameroon is DEATH?
chinatsu at the reunion she specifically said that people from her hometown were sending death threats to her
In some countries in the middle east too 😰
In most. Its illegal in 9 of the 17 in the region and is punishable by death in Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Yemen. Zero bones that's fucking horrible, i hate when gays ignore what happens in the middle east and call people islamophobic for pointing it out,
I love her sooo much.
I love miss Bebe
they should’ve kept this scene, it shows that bebe wasn’t closed off and stuck up
Bebe is the ultimate queen! She has the most beautiful voice, I could listen to her read the phone book.
Bebe is absolutely beautiful and I adore her
oh my gwosh, I love her sooo much.

Glen Coco she isn't a real contestant. She is a planted mole by RuPaul.
Jess Hammond I had heard that theory. I’ll believe it when I see it.
and why does Ru need a mole? i just heared that theory for the first time and i am curious
AgentSteffi cause ru isnt gonna watch every recorded hour of the show lmao, shes right there with them so she is personally seeing how they develop
so you are saying, ru is spying through bebe how much the queens grow?
I love babe so much she deserves the best of ths world
Such an important issue and it was deleted! Thanks!
"I was giving you Steve Urkel" Hahahahaha!
Honestly, the producers are making a huge mistake by deleting all of this. So much good material wasted.
goddamn i love bebe so much
drag rce isnt just about T, shade and oh yes hanny slaay! backstories and different excperiences and cultures are so important and interesting! remember that VH1
Bebe is so inspirational!
0:09 i know this is about Bebe but i love how all or most of trixies pictures are of her and katya
Somehow it's more poignant that it's pictures of them out of drag.

This should have been in the episode! Bebe has an extraordinary voice that needs to be heard by this newer, younger Drag Race audience.

ALL OF TRIXIE’S PICTURES ARE HER AND KATYA!!!!!!!! #trixya
This was such a pure moment.
I love Bebe she is one fierce Queen and she is humble, too!
Hope we see beebee on an all winners all stars
Why is all of this amazing footage being deleted? It would make the episodes so much better
They fill it in with drama lol
This point was so true regardless of where you originate and what part of the world you move to there are ways high expectations
Bebe: *talks about her beautiful inspiring story*

Sailor Venus when they say hour long episodes they mean 40 minutes because of commercials.
Christopher Perez It was announced that all episodes in season 10 will air for 90 minutes, so the episodes will all be a full hour instead of 40 minutes.
A true queen!
Whoooo Cameroun 🇨🇲 gang
The story was so powerful but all that I can see it´s the outer corner of the eye without eyelash.
Make the episodes like 30 mins longer and include all these deleted scenes pls. thx
THIS CLIP IS EVERYTHING smh why would they cut this from the show
Why was this not on the show i loved this
Exactly what I love the most about Miss Bebe is the fact that yet Cameroon is not the most accepting & in fact many in Cameroon believe gays should be executed ( like how she received threats tone "buried alive" during the S1 reunion), she doesn't define those views on the whole nation & shows her cultural pride in EVERYTHING she does!

A lot of these deleted scenes are better than the actual show. It's... huh.
