Hi Jennie. My name is Michelle Farrell from Mena Arkansas. I have always wanted to know how to make candles using Dollar Tree items. Thank you for sharing your video. After watching this video, I'm going to have to try and make my own candles. I didn't realize it was that easy. I shop at Dollar tree all the time and after seeing that, I'm going to try and do that as my next hobby. Thanks for sharing.
I have an arsenal of glassware from the dollar tree when they were a dollar and only bought them because they were cute. Lol Now I can put most of them to candle use, especially the mugs and the square ones! Thank you.
Those dollar tree candle jars the large ones when the candles are empty those are awesome to clean them out with a bottlebrush and then put decorative vase filler in them and they just look so pretty as a side accent piece
Hey Jenny, I love all the candles, they all are gorgeous. I love melting down the wax from the Dollar Tree and adding essential oils in different fragrants. I have one I added Chanel #5 to it, and it smells amazing too. Thanks for sharing, be safe and blessings to you and your family.❤❤❤❤💯
These all turned out so beautiful! I loved them all! Thank you so much for sharing and I will be attempting to make a few of these! Thanks again for all you do!! 😊❤
I love them all! But even more, I’m really loving your olive colored nails!! Especially beautiful on your lovely dark skin. I’m just going to go subscribe now….😘
Ok, I have been watching a lot of candle videos recently. Yours by far has been my favorite. I think I may just try to make some of these candles for Christmas.
Thank you for all these adorable ideas. I love the frames put together the best. I think I'll make a set for a blank wall that I have. Hope to find at least 8 frames the same.😊
Walmart wax melts are much better to use for these. There only $2.00 and the fall scents they are carrying are amazing. I tried the DT melts into candles like this and there is no smell. So I’m making new ones today with Walmart wax melts and DT tall candles.
Thanks for sharing those ideas. I'd never thought of adding the wax melts to the candles.....clever and endless combos there. What do people do with the empty tall jar candle holders? I don't know what to do other than to reuse as candles but maybe one or 2 but really nothing more than that. Tfs
I have just started making the DT pillar candles over into other candles. However, when I melted the candles at medium temp, it took the whole day to melt. Is that your experience as well? Do you do something to make them melt faster?
Please please please DO NOT use wax melts for candles. They are made of a different type of wax consistency with different additives which is not suitable to burn with a wick. It can actually clog the wick. Not safe at all. Not to mention that the wicks that are being reused are for a specific diameter & shouldn't be used for any kind of wax or vessel. Using the wrong wicks can cause it to burn too hot which will compromise the jar causing it to crack or explode. Please be careful when making candles without doing proper research. It can be very dangerous. And not to mention that millions of DT candles have been recalled multiple times for causing fires. So, again, please be careful. And, yes, I'm a professional candle maker so I'm well versed in the process.
Did you make the beads on that wood bead looking garland in the reveal part of the video when you showed the caramel colored wax in the little white bowl with the ridges on it? If so, can you please link me to that video?
This is the sign you've been waiting for. Jesus is coming soon.He loves you. He lived, died and resurrected for you and I. Accept Him and be Saved. Repent and Preach the Gospel before it’s too late. “For God so loved the world that His Only Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” Revelation 22:12 Jesus loves you. That’s good to know. I’ve always had doubts about the safety of this dollar tree DIY candles. Thank you.
Thank you so much for the warning! ❤
How do you get it not to do a sink hole after you make the candles 🕯️?
So using scented candles instead of melts and the correct wicks would be okay?
Good to know!! What would you suggest as an alternative? Are essential oils safe? Or drops of perfume?
Since the tall candles don't smell adding wax melts help with that?
How do u prevent the dip in the middle once it’s dried completely
Pour it in very slow🙂
@@LovelyMomentscreating thank you 🖤
How long does it usually take for the candle to completely cool?
Less than a hr😊
This was a great video Jenny and all the candles were so beautiful!

Candles and wax melts use two different wax bases. Not a good idea to combine them.
I like getting idea from $ store/tree however mine doesn't look or have alot of the stuff you guys show no fault to anyone
