@@SamuellCunningham stuns don't clear threat. The druid pulled agro with that massive crit. We'd know for sure if he had used a threatmeter, but unfortunately there was only room for three details windows on his UI, and threat meter is rated 4th on importance.
or long story short: if you don't have a threat meter, you probably pulled threat.

My faith in humanity drops every time I watch these Hardcore death videos... I mean sure, there's bad luck... But MOST of the deaths are down to PURE stupidity!!! Anyway, Darwinian evolution will exert itself by weeding out these retail players from the WOW HC genepool!

As a healer if someone in dungeon ever says "We ignore adds and nuke boss" I'm HSing out. Always assume they don't know what they are doing and demand you do it properly and controlled or you'll leave. Feel sorry for that Uldaman healer.
Yea it was sad. They couldve had the ret pala tank the adds and it wouldve been fine, but people cannot grasp playing around the comp they have. The boss itself doesnt hit hard at all so it wouldve been easily managable for the ret to tank the adds while the dps cleave em down and nuke the boss when only the 2 big adds are up and on ret.

True but he was also walking away with his back to the mob hitting him, so he probably would have been dazed anyway. Should have been strafing/turning.
plus the least the druid he used his bop on could have done was pause on the edge to toss a heal before he jumped he honestly was doing way too much healing to expect to make it out of there without bop and the whole group just ditches him while he kept them alive mage could have been slowing and rooting hunter could likely have dropped another trap druid could have offhealed more after he got his bop hunters just a plain douche

Don’t think the tank is at fault here because the mob used an aoe stun. Tank and Druid were both stunned. Druid’s fault for ripping threat

I swear, most of these deaths are because they get greedy and impatient. Take your time, clear the room. Not sure? Clear everything.

Doing dungeons on level with randoms. Never, ever
when you play so many hours, inevitably there will be moments of greed/impatience. You dont see hardcore clips of 3 hours of patient green grinding and all the careful dungeons leading up to the mistake

I laugh whenever people say "please heal me". If you're in a discord call with strangers, no one knows who "me" is, say your name.
If you can't look at the health bars and tell instantly who you need to heal, you probably shouldn't be healing.

How to beat hardcore. Don't group and don't be a warrior
and don't ever go into caves.
And only do quests green or lower.

There's so many clips like this where the tank just completely ignores the adds and let them run to the healer and the healer obviously ends up dying...
This clip annoyed me most of all and it's not at all because of the tank. I don't know if they had a plan or not for the healer to run from the small adds. But the warrior, the one who is streaming, specifically said before they pulled that if the big adds spawned that he would taunt them. Then he tunnel visioned, didn't do anything to grab the big adds and the healer died.

How did they not know the door closes when you start the fight? What the actual fuck, it *still* works that way in RETAIL, it has never *not* worked that way. These are guys that never did ulduman outside of farming it for mogs at 85+, clearly.
8:24 Why would you commit suicide by drowning but also spamming some macro repeatedly? Was some of the most bizarre behaviour I've seen... Mind you, a lot of deaths are bizarre as they are avoidable. Like letting mobs run and pull adds. Mate, if you reach that level and do a dungeon, be prepared? Everyone know their role and have every manner of CC ready. Clear carefully and fully. Pull things back. Slow it, stun it, give it a haircut. Win.

Is HC really for dungeons? seems half these deaths are from slow heals. Why HC if you have to party for heals. If your healer ever is salty, how does that work.
I wouldn't dungeon less their was some non meta party of 2 healers.

After watching a few of these videos I'm now more convinced than every that if you:
A) Run a dungeon in Hard Core mode
B) Run a raid in Hard Core mode
C) Go anywhere NEAR an elite mob in Hard Core mode

yea, was thinking the same, so many options but only panic. He had gem, nova, cone, shield.
He also didnt have ice armour up and had a healing pot available 😵💫
0:47 it looks like the healer was literally healing nobody, nobody's HP even moved after he cast flash and the only one at full HP was the warlock. Also he could have used the health stone and a potion. He also should have watched his threat. He used bite with 5 combo points, and it crit. He basically just taunted the boss with that. Could have also tried switching to bear form at that point. So many things could have happened to save him, none of them happened.
Oh after rewartching several times, I just saw he was stunned. Rip.
So it seems the very millisecond he used bite at 5 combo points the AoE stun went off. Very bad timing, but before he did that he was already at 89% threat. Should have just kept the 5 combo points and sat until threat went down to bite. Still no idea who the healer was healing since nobody's health moved an inch.

@@EdyGlockenspiel If you slow it down to 0.5 speed, you can see who he's healing. Tank -> Tank -> Self -> Self -> Likely the Druid since no one's HP moved, because the Druid died midcast.

@@knquesthc you bubble yourself after the elite gets taunted and just continue to run around instead of casting with 1 mob on you, your mouse movement going from center to far left is inefficient, you didnt attempt to dispel the magic debuff stacking, didnt have full mana going into pull, didnt mana pot early which ended up getting you killed at the end because you could have used two during your two minute clip, no grenade, and probably more if i looked. the warrior had a bad pull, but was easily doable. you all just ran around.
@@anon12549 While I don't believe that an iron grenade - or even 2 - would have made a significant impact on the outcome of the fight, I absolutely agree with you on the mana potions. I even panicly forgot its keybind 😅Personally, I still think that prioritizing using mana on heals instead of dispels in that situation was the right play. Looking back, I realize that I should have made different pathing choices. I'm also avoiding the treadmill on my next playthrough! Hindsight is a bitch. Cheers for your feedback though.

The WoW streaming community is something really depressing and most of them are such hipocrits its insane. I remember that video where Pilav called out a bunch of streamers, including Jokerd for ninjalooting that MC run, but few months later i see Pilav as a mod in Jokerd's Twitch chat, talking to each other like they are BFFs or something. Its really sad and sketchy when you think about how WoW streamers are really
