Cigarettes are common and used a lot, you see them everywhere, there is no need for a trigger warning. It's not like it's beheading or murder, or gore. And with that logic, you can put a trigger warning on literally everything. Trigger warning should be put on actual shocking things, as I said, murder, gore, etc.

In the context of mental illness, "trigger" is often used to mean something that brings on or worsens symptoms. For years she was unable to stand the sight of cigarettes, and had a hard time emotionally recovering form the abuse she was subjected to, let’s say your arrogant and move on. Trigger warnings will never hurt anyone, and the only people making big deals out of them are people like you, your clearly the only soft person here if you feel enraged enough to comment this.
