    Im thinking about a wooden stick from an iced lolly, that would be safe to use it as a bender of the aluminium fins without damage.
    Just a silly thought.

      Anything like that should do it. Doing anything is a start.

    How do you clean that heat exchanger if it’s full of lint? And is there a way to clean the inside of the heat exchanger? Because I don’t think the lint stops in the first few centimeters of it….

    Hello! Do you have a thin tube on the back to drain water? I bought a used machine and it comes with this tube but I would like to know if it works without it.

    • @bootsowen

      There is usually 2 tubes. One up to the water tank drawer and an overflow back down. You can disconnect the pump hose and put it directly to a drain.

      @@bootsowen ... Hello... No really, no warnings. The power goes off, totally off, like if there was a power cut. I watched your vídeo , where you change the Filter suppressor.... Do you think it could be it? Thanks for yor time?

    • @bootsowen
      @bootsowen  10 месяцев назад

      It sounds like some part of it is tripping the consumer unit. If it was the suppressor it would trip straight away. It is some part of the operation that only comes on after the time you say. Possibly something like heating element or maybe a thermostat faulting to earth. More investigation needed

    Got the same problem here

    Amazon, hook pick tool set. Think I got Rolsen, 4 euro I think I paid, I do tell everyone that I go to its the easiest way of cleaning them coils, at the front especially. If lint builds up down at the bottom it stops the water from flowing, creates stagnant water and clothes come out absolutely stinking. Had one woman absolutely rip the head off me one day cause "I haven't time for such trivial things". Well misses I won't be coming out to do it for ya once a month so that's ur problem 😂

    • @bootsowen
      @bootsowen  10 месяцев назад +1

      I have the pick tools. I have done it on my Samsung in previous vids. Boring job. The Samsung fins had been folded over by the previous owners. So there was some recovery to do. A few people have suggested adding a layer of open filter sponge across the element to catch the lint. Haven’t tried it yet.
      Don’t you get a call out on all jobs? Make it worth doing simple jobs.
      As for you making videos. I see your point on permissions etc.

      @@bootsowen some of the older heat pumps have that sponge on the lint filter, not too sure how good it is as I've still seen them clogged full of shite. Makes a difference tho. No buddy, I'm on a salery, so I don't see the call out charges, get paid per month a set wage, but it's a good wage for what I do, 😊

      Then you’re sound! My Samsung heat pump was full of dust like clay. It had been on a farm. I reckon they were throwing coats and jeans in it to dry without washing them. But that’s people
