Hi Travis. Nearly 8-10 months back u inspired me to go for Devops. I completed : Linux admin, Bash scipting, Git & Git Hub, AWS Cloud practioner . I am left wit AWS-SAA,Maven & NPM, Docker,Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Prometheus, Graffana. Wil comple these tools this yr by any means possible
Dont focus on learning all of them, I work in devops and I still am learning how to use these tools. Company environment wills always be different from your own labs. You will have to follow thier structures and policies.
@@mwaygp Any recommendations for the junior DevOps engineers? trying to land their first role. I have a solid understanding of the basic technologies used like Linux, Docker, Vagrant, Ansible, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, and Terraform, AWS. But still don't really feel qualified for these roles.

I mostly definitely agree with everything you’ve mentioned in this video. I used to learn and work in isolation so the growth process was painfully slow and at times, I was overwhelmed by the amount of work I had to do. I’ve figured out where I was lacking and I’m already taking further steps to improve.
