I bought Gemini II but it's such an expensive trashy machine. The plates warped to the point that they won't go in the feeder. Gemini II company won't take it back and Joann fabrics said to go through them= I'm stuck with this expensive trashy machine. This Sizzix big shot is so much fun to use and the plates don't warp or curve like the trash gemini II. If you're trying to decide which one to buy, buy this one. The handle is so easy to turn, you don't need an expensive button to turn on because it will be useless due to their plates warping except if you want to spend $45 a week to replace gemini II plates.
I have a Big Shot from a lady who passes away. Unfortunately, she had not attached the handle. I have not found out how to get a replacement handle. Can anyone provide me with the info needed to get a handle?
Hello! The machine itself hasn't changed but the items that are included with it in our starter kits are what has been updated. We've refreshed the new exclusive dies, updated the cardstock and embossing folders that are included and made some improvements on the packaging including easy to use QR codes for further information with a quick scan. I hope that clears up any confusion! :)
Hi , I just got my big Shot . Somehow I can’t get the hole thing through the machine. I do everything as you do in this video , but it doesn’t go through 😢

Yes, you can cut felt with this machine, however this starter kit doesn't contain felt or Bigz dies, these can be bought separately though at the Sizzix website or Sizzix retailers. 😊
