The most ground breaking guitar playing along with the rest of band holding down the groove. What a vibe

Hi, the Guy in the midle is Uli John Roth, a former member of the Scorpions and a brilliant Gitarrist! And he is still in fire!
Check Out " we'll burn the sky"!

🤘🔥🤘 Uli Jon Roth 💀 is always calm. He stands there but commands the stage. Usually his hair is lightly blown by wind because he’s a legend (spontaneously of course lol) - Uli puts me in a trance!

Scorpions might be in my top 10 fav bands of all time. They're ridiculously talented and have tons of great songs. Smart, creative, and bad ass. Hit Between The Eyes is a good showcase for their 2 guitarists ripping riffs and solos back and forth. Dope drumming and bass and of course great vocals.

Charon is the psychopomp, the ferry man of Hades in the Greek mythology. Klaus Meine vocals, Uli Jon Roth lead guitar, Rudolf Schenker rhythm guitar, Francis Bucholz bass, Herman Rarebell drams. Tokyo Tapes Live in Japan was the one that introduced me to the Uli Scorpions Era.

I was introduced to the Scorpions 30+ years ago while at school, it's no stretch to say that they and Helloween changed my musical tastes forever. the late 80's and 90's was a fantastic period for them, once they got their core members down, but I do wish Uli could have stayed with them. If you feel like it, there's a helluva German Power Metal rabbit hole to explore ;)
Oh, and the pronunciation? it's a Greek word, so it's likely to be something like kharon (where both the the k and h sounds are audible)

I will aways stand up for the Scorpions being the best band of the 70’s. Aside from Black Sabbath.

Taken by Force and Virgin Killer are legendary albums. Oddly enough they even sound better live on Tokyo Tapes album.

It's a hard K sound. Greek letter Chi which is K in English, as mentioned this is based on Greek Mythology. Burn the Sky another great off this album, is a tribute to Hendrix. Soo many great Uli era Scorpions songs.
