Series that go 4 or 5 games tend to be forgotten alot unfortunately
They’re all great! 3 one run games, a walkoff, a 14 inning game and the first title ever for my boys

White Sox were 11-1 this postseason, absolutely dominant. Our starting rotation had 4 consecutive complete games in the ALCS too

Thank you for remembering the 2005 White Sox. Meant a lot to me when they pulled that off. I was watching game 4 sick with the TV on. My dad came in and celebrated with me after the final out. Def not a forgotten team or game 3 to me. Thanks one more time for posting.

AJ was awesome as a hitter and as catcher, in the ALCS 4 complete games pitched in a row AJ caught them all
I nearly had a heart attack like 237 times during this game. Especially after the Sox came back from a 4-0 deficit.
That 05 Astros team deserved to win a championship.

This series was closer than the sweep would suggest.
Yup. This series should have went seven games easily. All 4 games were close despite Whiet Sox sweep. Astros Blew Game 2 shoudl have went 1-1 back to Houston and then Astros losing in Extra Innings in Game 3. Even if White Sox were better team, Astros were good but not to the point of getting swept. Just a lot of timely hitting by White Sox in this postseason and their starters all pitched well in playoffs. Plus their bullpen was good with Jenks as their hard throwing closer and Cotts, other relievers they had. White Sox were such a balanced team they were tough.

O5 cardinals were better than Houston. I believe this year and 04. After they beat us in 05 they cashed out. Chicago pitched lights out but i believe Houston and st Louis were better teams.
