- This day almost led to the best waves I have ridden on my skimboard. The conditions were as good as they get. In many cases I was running as fast as I could in order to reach the waves that I wanted. It would be very easy to just paddle in to the waves on a surfboard but the likelihood of you being in the right spot to catch the wave is greater when you can run around on the beach.

I have surfed and skated and did all forms of water sports including skim boarding for 5 decades. Watching you rip when you skim is the only time I wish I were young again to try and get barreled on a skim board. You are massively talented Brother. Keep shredding and I will continue to live vicariously through you.

Is there an age that you would say it's too late to learn? Is it harder than regular surfing?
The vids have improved a lot over the year I think its the frequent posting and cinematic edits that I like the most keep shredding blair🤙🤙🤙

Wow.....I'm a lifelong surfer since 6, I am now 51, still surf and am impressed by this stuff man. Your shredding and getting slotted crazily......must be awesome to be that good at it. Seen no one at my local in Australia skim at this level.

He has a lot of vids on how to skim. I used them and they helped a lot. But if you could find a skim teacher that would be the best option.

Upstate NY, basically Canada ;) not much surfing but we've got a nice beach where skimming is possible. Mostly wind sports though (kite, wing, board/surf/foil)

Just think. There use to be a restaurant at the end of that pier where you could have had breakfast, a decent lunch and or dinner. Then someone or ones had the idea they wanted a higher class eatery down there. Then someone or someone's no longer wanted to be there and figured a way out. Now everyone else loses.
Ah yes Huntington Beach, some of the best skim waves around. On a unrelated note, camra guy, those aren't seals, they're walruses. 😉
