Not a good performance. They are here to see Fijian culture and dances. They will get their chance to see other Pacific islands culture when they visit them. They won't see a Fijian dance performed in Samoa or Tonga. Sa sivia na ivukivuki.
that's NOT our Siva Samoa, its plastic kind of mix with modern days dance.... the movement of hands , its a big NO.. we dance gracefully and slow movement of our body n hands....
None of it is traditional my friend. They are interpretive dancers so this would be a contemporary interpretation. Probably to highlight the aggressive and ungentle nature of climate change in the islands.
