I don't see how anyone can defend this trash show. I even watched all episodes so far to give it a fair chance which this guy has NOT! So why should we take a single thing he said seriously?
It's everything the YT critics said, but worse. By the way, I've never heard a single person say a show is bad because "it has too many wamen in it" This guy really needs to stop listening to the Mary Sue.

They aren't Star Trek but as Dramas & Generic Si-fi shows they are fine. Good on a Production level, although as they cut the budgets down that is getting less impressive.

The fact is that internet critics DO NOT have the audience to have a big effect on the populance and you can see the low ratings. The low ratings is because most people didn’t like it, not because they heard a critic

@@stevearts85 you can like the show all you like and that’s fine but you’re almost saying that criticism of the show is wrong when basically the low ratings show that the show is in fact disliked not only by the critics but the majority of the people, meaning they are right ( within the bounds that a critic can be right)
I will give you some reasons
Firstly it ruins the whole purpose of the chosen one if some random witches can create children from the force at a whim, sidious and plagueis could barely do it and the are arguably the most powerful sith (In canon)
Secondly the writing is terrible, the lore breaking is not the only thing that ruins the show its the terrible writing, to begin wiht most of the show is talking and its not even good, line like 2 "the power of many" tell me with a straight face its good.
And lastly the fact that disney has tyhe audacity to insult the fans who hate it to their face, if you actually listened to the complaints rather than being mindlessley brain washed by disney you could actually see the reasoning and not call it racism. Its unacceptable that disney pulls the race shield to defend its bad shows, sure there are some racists hating for the sake of it, but they do not represent the large amount of fans which is the narrative disney is trying to put out. You cannot call yourself a true starwars fan and enjoy this show (in my opinion). They can make the jedi gay black or trans for all I care, just don't do lazy writing and blame it on the fans for not liking it, this is the last straw for disney and finally fans are realising what a shit situation this is. You can dismiss my arguments and call me a racist and a homophobe for all I care, all i know is that the show is flopping and as far as im concered thats what needs to happen for disney to finally see that the race card wont work anymore. Try to watch people like Star wars theory or Jesse Grant for a change, they have extremely good opinions and critcisms (The critcal drinker makes it too political for my taste). I dunno dude, literally every critique I've heard goes into great detail about the bad dialogue, poorly written characters, disjointed and non-sensical story.

It is irritating to see a much-beloved IP that someone else created and built getting hijacked by people interested only in using it as a platform to propagandize the viewing public with certain social-political ideologies. Real-world ideas and behaviors that, frankly, most in the public are not necessarily on board with. That's not what Star Wars was ever about.
Worse still is the reaction of the producers, crew, and cast to the backlash Acolyte has received. Blaming and even trash-talking the viewing public for not liking the show, accusing them of being racist, homophobic, etc. You want to talk about toxicity, there you go. It's infantile behavior, especially Stenberg's rap reaction video which, like the show itself, is garbage on it's own merit.
The current Star Wars IP is run by entitled narcissists hell-bent on forcing compliance to their agenda.

Review bombing is pretty well orchestrated at this stage in the game. It's #6 on the Streaming list last time I heard. Which is pretty good considering the massive hate campaign Disney has been fighting the last few years against the Alt Right & conservatives. who are like a third of Americans.

So i listened to the critical drinker and i didn’t hear any hate and it was all criticism of the show. It wasn’t i hat this or that. It was “ this doesn’t make sense”. So quote me some hate they had.
