My best advice is to dress nice and when you find the land owner just be yourself. Be respectful and honest. (Hey I saw some ducks/geese on your property and was just wondering if there’s any way a couple buddies and I can go hunt them. We will leave it better than we found it and pick our shells up.) Listen to what he has to say and follow his rules. Be extremely polite and say thank you regardless of if he says yes or no.

Limiting out is great but waterfowling is a lot about hanging out with your buddies. I’d rather shoot the small groups and have a longer hunt. Between the calling, dogwork and shooting…It was a great hunt!
