The base game is actually quite easy, with lots of cushion (on first play, my friend and I beat it without using any rerolls and still having 3 coffee), but some of the modules are challenging
This is an excellent walk-through / guide to how to play. Since this is my first video of yours to watch, I will make sure to watch more of them. Please keep doing this great work.
I think this was on one of your "most anticipated" lists and I've been looking forward to it since I heard limited communication two-player-only co-op. Limited communication co-ops are my jam, but we don't have many gamer friends to play with, which limits our options. This tutorial looks ABSOLUTELY awesome and I know what I'm asking my husband for for Christmas. 😁 We love keeping 2 player only games in our nightstand to play after the kids are in bed. This will be a great addition.
cute girl planning a fun game ... so guys have you merged with Watch It Played? i thought i was having a brain fart but no the latest video is not on this channel but on theirs...
how come in this tutorial, on minute 10:08 Monique shows all four dice fo the pilot having already been assigned, and in the brakes panel, boxes 2 and 4 have already been switched to green, yet there are no dice in them? there is only a no. 6 die assigned on the last box... I thought you could only assign dice to the breaks ONCE , on the last round, on es both the airport icon and airplane icons are in their respective current position screens... on Monique's example, when did she assign the dice to the brakes 2 and 4?
Do we always need to use all four dices at the end of every round? Because we had already all green lights switched on after the 5th round. So in round 6 and 7 it seemed we had to much dices left. Thanks for help ❤
For clarification: you resolve each section IMMEDIATELY after the die is placed, right? (Respectively immediately after the SECOND die is placed, for tilt and engines.) Or do the engines resolve at the end of the round? Because flaps/breaks and engines depend on each other - and can screw up stuff (and you immediately lose the game…..)
This really looks interesting and simple; the dashboard looks pretty, and *look* a player shield that does not tilt. I need additional "players" behind me when playing, so when we're done, there will be clapping passengers.
Excellent overview. Just played a learning game and I may as well send them this video instead of teaching :P. Appreciate how you give context every step of the way.
Yes, at the end of the day it's still a board game so it would not be challenging enough if they were able to communicate. You can strategize verbally during the planning phase though.
Is there any particular order of operations to when the dice are activated. We have been playing all of our die then working them from the sides first, turning our axis second and finish with our engines. Is this right or is it that once something is played it’s actioned ?
Thank you so much for another excellent tutorial video. This had us up and running in a few minutes, plus we are returning to learn the modules as needed. Bravo!
OMG this video is amazing and this game looks incredibly fun and difficult but in the “we were laughing so hard when we lost” sort-of way !!! Thank You
Can someone help me keep in theme with the no talking/discussion part? That's the only thing that kinda turned me off when pilot and copilot aren't allowed to talk..
Like in cockpit pilot and copilot discuss about the way to follow. That's Strategy discussions. And after that, in few seconds they act, pull the axis, call the ground control, move the flaps, and so on. That's alsowhy you will find in some scenarios the "real time" module. Be sure by playing you'll feel in the cockpit.
This looks cool but thematically doesn't make sense. Yes, the pilot and co-pilot need to work together but I don't get why they can't talk to each other. That part doesn't make sense when landing a plane together.
I had your same reservations about theme, but in another video someone with flight experience commented how pilot and co-pilot don't actually tell each other what to do during a landing, they just verbalize out loud what they're doing, which would equal to the players announcing where they're placing the dice. There wouldn't be time for one or the other to say, "No, actually, put it there instead", it wouldn't make any sense in reality. Allegedly, the game designers had inputs from actual pilots.
@@BeforeYouPlayThanks for clarifying, yes I understand but I guess I'm just a loudmouth lol Would love to see the game in action to see how quickly the rounds go.
@@doggyaugie We're similar my hubby and we but never found a 'silent' coop game lost its value because we talked frankly (unless it's something like the Mind lol)! As long as you don't say which dice value you are going to assign, you can still chat away at whatever else. We make our own commentary of our plays that way with 'ohh' and 'ahh, what the heck'. To make up for talking you could use the timer option maybe or turn on all the modules you can.
@@doggyaugiea full game isabout 15/ 20 min. But it depends on the player's speed. There is a learning curve and you will acquise reflexes and play faster and faster. Just try and let me know
This looks awesome! I loved how many times it was said you immediately lose the game 😅
LOL I definitely felt like the bearer of bad news
How many times though? Anybody feel like counting? 😂
If either player breathes, players immediately lose the game
Imagine a pilot and copilot rolling dice in the cockpit to determine our fate
😂😂😂
... and not communicating.
Thanks for this. I just received my copy and immediately lost the game
Hahaha 😆
This is our number 1 anticipated game at Gen con and this has only increased the hype we have for this game!
Thanks Brothers!
Enjoy !
Aww nice!! 🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊
Box art looks a little bit like the two of you! 😁
hah it does huh!
@@BeforeYouPlay Aww, but you guys didn't actually do a playthrough together on the channel? I was expecting it. :(
“You’ll lose the game immediately”. Mentioned about 8 times with a distinctly sinister glint in Monique’s eye.
You're an incredible teacher Monique! This looks like an insane challenge even without the modules, looking forward to trying it out!
Thank you so much!
The base game is actually quite easy, with lots of cushion (on first play, my friend and I beat it without using any rerolls and still having 3 coffee), but some of the modules are challenging
we can do a drinking game here with the words "you immediately lose the game"
Call the Uber
the most common expression in this review...."then you immediately lose the game".
hah there are many ways to lose in this one
It looks fun and thematic. Would really like to watch this played to see how it would play out.
If anyone wonders it is 6 times counting “You immediately lose the game” in the basic rules explanation. 😂
Thanks Monique for this teach. This game is unique and seeing it explained made it even more intriguing.
This is an excellent walk-through / guide to how to play. Since this is my first video of yours to watch, I will make sure to watch more of them. Please keep doing this great work.
Thank you so much for checking out the video! Hope you have loads of fun with the game!! 😃

What a brilliant tutorial. Many thanks!
I was surprised by the amount of times "You immediately lose the game"
I'm all about games that are friendly-brutal and reward good collaboration!
I’ve been watching you and Naveen for years! It’s so cool that your video is the official video. Way to come up!
The part I remember best: 'You immediately lose the game.'
Thank you for an excellent introduction to Sky Team. I think I lost count of the number of times you said the phrase "...and you lose the game!"
I love how many "You immediately lose the game!" conditions there are.
One of the best rule videos I've ever watched! Loved how it flowed and how clear it was.
The game looks very interesting.
And it seems to be quite hard to win, too often I've heard: and you immediately lose the game 😉
Haha, You’ve been paying attention!!
Like a real plane 😁
Thanks for such a clear explanation ! 😍
I hope you enjoy your flight 😉
Thank you!!
Already know I'm going to be saying "and you immediately lose the game" a lot when playing this hahaha. Thanks for the great teach!
I thought the game looked interesting, but after this rules video I think it looks awesome! Can't wait to play it. :D
Hope you enjoy it!
Yé! It takes Quebecers to start in Montréal and make sure there's an ice module lol My plane geek hubby will love this one!!
Oh yes, i had to take care of my canadian publisher 😁
I hope your husband will enjoy the thematic and the challenges.
Great!
Thanks Monique! I'm going to immediately subscribe to your channel and then play and surely immediately lose the game :)

My husband and I lost the base game three times before we could advance 😂 so much fun!
Just played and used your tutorial! Thank you SO SO SO SO much
Very clear, thanks! Cannot wait to play this.
Hope you enjoy it!
This was a very good rule explanation it really helped
Excellent rulebook and an excellent video! We didn't need to go to BGG once for any clarifications! Monique is the GOAT
I feel this is more complicated than making the course to become a real pilot 😅

Terrific teach! I was invited to play on BGA, and this was perfect to get me ready.
this game has dozens of way to lose and only to win.... love it! XD
"And you immediately lose the game"
Playing with all the modules in the most dificult airports, might be harder than landing an actual plane... 😅😅
lol 😝
Dang, there seems to be quite a bit of game here.
Lots to explore, especially with more scenarios available via the publisher's website
I read the rules but I was uncertain about the landing round and your tutorial helped me. Nice thanks, explanation, thank you.
So glad the video helped!!
How did Monique and Naveen get drawn on the game box?
🤣
🤣🤣🤣 dedicated box !!
This was a fantastic teach, Monique!
best tutorial so far. Immediate buy for me.
I thought you only have a max of 3 coffees per game
This was very helpful, thanks Monique!
Glad we could help!
Great concise explanation!
Great explanation and overview!
Thank you!
Awesome tutorial. Thank you for explaining the advanced scenarios and all the modules too! It was very helpful! :)
This game looks cool, but the theme just loses me completely. Why can’t the pilot and co-pilot communicate?!
Because it's a game 😁
If players communicate it becomes an alpha player solo game.
Other points are thematic 👍
Yes, at the end of the day it's still a board game so it would not be challenging enough if they were able to communicate. You can strategize verbally during the planning phase though.
I prefer to play this game on BGA as your copilot can’t change his dice 🎲 without you knowing

You did an amazing job on this teach. Thank you very much!!!
This looks really good. The theme working well with the game is crucial. It looks like it all works well together.
This game makes no sense
It's Bamboozled from Friends

Great teach!
Do I need to spend all dice in each round?
Yes, the round ends once all of the dice have been placed.
@@BeforeYouPlay Thanks for the reply.
So, if the dice result is bad, can I put the dice on the Radio even there are no more plane token?
This looks cool but thematically doesn't make sense. Yes, the pilot and co-pilot need to work together but I don't get why they can't talk to each other. That part doesn't make sense when landing a plane together.
You can speak. You have to share strategy. And then you play.
You can check Rahdo play time to give you an idea.

This was my top most anticipated game but not being able to speak takes the fun out for me and my partner...
Hi there, just to clarify, you are allowed to speak and strategize in the "planning phase" (before the dice are rolled).
