Was having trouble with reassembly of the Slide lock until I was able to veiw your video. Watched a couple before yours. Yours was much more detailed for the tricky steps of the process. Thank you.
Same here lol
Did it as you did it. Thanks for the help
Excellent video. I have the same SA model. To push down the spring plug, after removing half of the full-length guide rod, I use the allen wrench by inserting the short end into the spring plug hole and then rotate the barrel bushing. Also, after watching other videos on how to reinstall the slide stop, I use an expired driver's license to assist in depressing the spring plunger and pushing down the slide stop. Thank you for producing and posting this video.
Is it just me or an absolute pleasure to re assemble a 1911🇺🇸🫡
Drops the slide full-force.
Haha
Excellent video. Made it very easy to follow. Ordered the wrench from Amazon by clicking the provided link and subscribed to your channel. Thank you sir
Very helpful as my Springfield 1911 A1 is the newer one with this spring guide. And I'm glad you went from start to finish a lot of people will just do half. Thanks again. Oh by the way I have a muzzle break on mine so the tool that you used from Amazon would have been great when I had it stock but I do not believe it will work now but I haven't had any issues with the spring and muzzle brake. The muzzle brake definitely helps with these pistols especially when shooting single-handed.
Thank you so much. i had trouble but you made it look so easy
Thank You I’ve got the Garrison 1911 .45 and I can never seem to get the slide off the frame of the fireman thanks again for this video
Its Great Video Just Wanted To Add, For Lining Up The Linkage To The Upper Part Before Putting Spring In It Will Be Best To Use A Smaller Allen Wrench To Line the Holes Up The Stick Pin Threw The Linkage When I Did This I Surpass My 30 Minute Struggle Puttin It Back Together
Thank you!
Excellent
Pretty much gonna get rid of mine…impossible to reassemble. Never experienced anything like it.
How did you pull the trigger and hold hammer without holding the beaver tail?
How many rounds did it take to put that wear on the front of the frame?
Instead of the bushing tool just use the bottom of mag
Is there an even safer way without having to look so much at the barrel😂 little too much anxiety
Cannot hear audio..way too soft
Another STOP DISLIKE = why did you rotate the barrel bushing? you did not say, why maybe you are teaching a person that never handled a 1911
Dont drop the slide on an empty chamber.
I cant get the screw from the barrel bushing... I feel like I am going to break the allen wrench
