I watched the entire season of "Singer 2017" and all of the other contestants were very welcoming to Dimash. He was away from his country and his family for several months, did not speak their language and very little English at the time...They all treated him like family and called him little brother...Dimash is very good friends with many of them still today! It's a great show with lots of great talent...I highly recommend!

Think about this..........he is singing this song to the Chinese people. Can you imagine the conviction of hearts about this story of a woman that loved them so much she hid her identity to be a part of them? Dimash is a gift from God sent to teach us love and how music is really meant to be. For me music is going the wrong direction and he is bringing to back to a wonderful direction. He was born to sing if you hear his family talk about the first time he heard music what he did. He is humble and loves every person he sings for. He is a wonderful person. I hope with me others are praying for him.

Imagine being 22 years old; away from home; totally unknown in China; having one week to learn the song in a language he didn’t speak, and then attach the appropriate emotions to it; knowing you’re being televised to 600 million people; and competing against already established, well known Chinese artists with large fan bases!! That’s pressure!!! In fact his S.O.S. Was the very FIRST performance of the entire series!

Dimash shows yet another side of his ability to adapt to the lyrics, and no longer be a singer, but a storyteller. You can FEEL the emotion through his vocals.
Yes, Dimash came in 2nd place. He was the first non-Chinese competitor on the show, and they couldn't let him win. It wouldn't look good. Dimash said he hoped to finish in the top 10, but in the end, he was the biggest winner of all. You don't hear about any of the other competitors going on world tours, do you? And yes, there was so much flak from his fans, a foreigner (Jessie J) WAS allowed to win in 2018. Looking forward to your next Dimash "experience"!!!

You should see him now. Even more brilliant. The singer was 3 years ago and Dimash has improved tremendously! His voice has matured beautifully. Dimash is loved not only because of his talent. He is very humble and mature for his age. He's only 26 years old. He's tall too. He's 6'3". I recommend you to watch some of his interviews.

Yes, Dimash won 2nd place and I understand why. Besides the fact that Dimash is the best singer in the world, Dimash is a man with a giant heart. When he flew to this show, he initially said that for him there was no difference which place he won. Maybe we don’t know a lot of things, but most likely he did the same as he did on the World Best. There is a story on RUclips when Dimash was ill during the show, the doctor told him to be home. And he still went to the show because he was very worried about his friend who also participated in the competition. He quit the World Best show because he found out that he was competing against two young children, one of whom was his very good friend, although his condition for signing the contract was that the children would not participate in the competition. He left the World Best to give the children a chance to win. In China, people had to be without ears so as not to give Dimash first place. But the day after the first song, in the morning, Dimash woke up as China's biggest star.5.000000 views on the Chinese version of RUclips per day. Guards had to be assigned to him. Given his words when he flew to the show, I have every reason to believe that Dimash asked for 2nd place to give his Chinese friend a chance to win the first.

It got me emotional AGAIN. Guys, this song is sung by Dimash at almost every concert and every time is a bit different version and each and every is PERFECTION. I love it, I cry when I hear him, it´s just pure beauty. I recommend watching some other versions as well.

I completely understand when you mentioned the comment that Dimash is something that happens to you. He's more of an experience, and one that you never regret having! Dimash chooses songs that mean something to him. He internalizes the words to understand them. He's not so concerned with his vocal range, because it's just his tool to convey the emotions and the words of the song to you. One thing I notice as well are his hands. Not only does Dimash paint a picture with his voice, but (and this might be from his classical training) he paints a picture with his hands as he sings. I feel like he sings with his entire body and soul not just his vocal chords. He brings such depth to a song, it's incredible to watch this young man perform. I'd also like to say that Dimash is a humble young person who has a fierce love of family, country, and fans. He tries to live simply and one of his goals is to introduce the beauty and culture of Kazakhstan to the world. Well, he's definitely accomplished that and more! You'll see that when you get to the Daididau episode. Definitely check out Gloria Wu's channel for Eng subtitles and backstories on the songs. Well worth it! Thanks for the reaction!

It is true, when you truly listen to Dimash, you not only hear him sing, but he enters your soul. It is call Dimashified, and once you are Dimashified you have Dimashititis. There is no cure, but you can satisfy the symptoms temporarily by listening to more Dimash. Yes, both of those words are real, you can google them. 😊 The other contestants made many comments during the shows about how difficult it was to perform after him etc. He didn't win, but the person who did win, Sandy Lam, is a very well established artist in China with 30 something albums, and she has won several awards. He may not have won the show, but he won the hearts of millions of Chinese people. He has been given permission to sing a very much respected song in China at several of their festivals. The song was not allowed to be sung by foreigners, but Dimash has sang it several times now by request. Blessings to you!
