    Javascript is notoriously one of the most popular languages to learn, and it's also one of the most in-demand languages in the job market. However, there are far better options available if you're looking for a coding language. In this video, I'll share why I quit Javascript and why you should too. If you're undecided about whether or not to switch to another language, then you need to watch this video!
    Today we check out a day in the life of a software engineer and why quitting javascript will dramatically change the way you code, contribute and architect repositories.

    To weigh in on whole TypeScript vs JavaScript thing: I'm a 33 year old who started learning web dev about 3 months ago and I was always under impression that "you need to know JS before TypeScript" so my plan is just that. Once I get good grip of JS I'd want to "upgrade" to TypeScript but I didn't really look into it (TypeScript) so maybe I'm wrong.

    • @Metrix2024
      @Metrix2024 Год назад +3

      Typescript is javascript with more features so you should learn javascript first and you are getting into web dev so you definitely want to learn js
      Also the more language you know the better. You are new so just stick to one language for now

    • @Caffrey90
