Can I use this in my bathroom floor? So is it water resistant and the water stays over the surface? Also I got floor tiles laid can I put this straight on top? Does it need to be a minimum thickness?

This was put in our bathroom and laundry. Dirt and lint settle into the crevices and it is very difficult if not impossible to get clean. If anyone knows how to fix this I would love to know.
