List your TOP THREE priorities in order for Manchester United in this summer transfer window if its going to be a success.
Sacking ten Hag is the first step, next is the scrub players he signed then the deadwood
Backing ten hag and upgrading medical team and training facilities are no 1 for me
1. DM 2.CB 3. ST 4. LB 5. WINGER...even if we don't sign a creative winger like olise this season, amad can start for us...then the 2025 summer we can sign olise... personally we should sign him this summer and sell Anthony
Center back is number 1 for me.
A new young defensive midfielder. Another striker . And that’s just a start .
a good striker , better cdm, a rb
We need a new med staff, it’s obvious they have no idea on what they are doing
They have been so bad i forgot we even had a couple of these players
So if I get sick, that's my GPs fault?
@@pukabowers4353 if you understand football there are many different people in the med team, from a doctor to a physio
No but if all of ur mates get I'll and u lot go to the same doctor then yes he is the problem
@@pukabowers4353please read about the malacia situation if you think the medical team isn’t to blame
When it comes to olisse-
1. Amad has emerged so unless he or antony leaves the big chunk of our budget isn’t best used at RW
2. Olisse injury record isn’t great- surely after all the excuses of our injury crisis we would avoid such a player right now???
Olise is not injury prone, that's a misconception, he had 1 bad injury and was rushed back which led to him aggravating the same injury. Prior to that he's been solid.
Antony I think we should give him 1 more season but if we get an offer for him now more than 25 or 30 million pounds I'd sell him. Ten Hag wanted him but its clearly not worked out. Keep Amad though
People talking about olise injury “record” are just regurgitating what they have heard others say. It really aint that bad. And no matter how you feel we NEED another winger. If we sign olise it completely frees garnacho for the left and gives us so much more in creativity going forward wether on bench or rotation
Honestly i wouldnt mind frimpong to balance it out
@@chaitanyabahl3623 I truelly believe that Ten Hag has to change Antony in pre season to left back. I could see him there having value in the team but not as a Right Winger, He is not consistent and has no output on that position. an alternative for Olise we could maybe go for someone from Real with a loan buy option. WIth Mbappé next season there and Endrick I don't thiink that Arda Guler or Brahim Diaz are going to have much minutes, Both could play on the right wing but United should go for Guler he would be in the starting 11 of United.
1. Sales as it is the thing to stop any FFP charges
2. Right CB - I like Todibo
3. Central Mid - Neves or Onana
4. Creative Winger - we ran our attackers into the ground the last 2 seasons and there needs to be more options
5. Left Back - with Luke Shaw and Malacia coming back I'm inclined to lower the priority
6. Central Mid - we need to not run Maino into the ground and need another option
7. Back up striker - I'd like Ethan Wheatley to get his chance rather than spending
Shaw needs selling fast
Well, we do have Mount as another option instead of Mainoo?
+ McTominay as backup.
We do need a DM, imo we should keep Amrabat, and sign another proper starter DM that compliments other midfielders. Someone who can keep the ball, but also good at defending.
1. Early sales.
2. Right CB.
3. Defensive midfielder, consider we'll sell Case and terminate Amrabat loan.
4. Alternative/back up striker.
5. More sales. After starting 11 complete we need to get fund for other positions. Not necessarily big names signings but alternative players for each positions. We must be sure that we don't have any excuses again regarding injured players. For this, we can sell rashford and Anthony if any offers coming.
in my opinion, aa DM should be our number 1 priority this summer. Our open mid field has been by FAR our biggest weakness this season. We need a player to plug the hole Casemiro left and receive the ball from Onana on the turn before we can start considering anything els4e.
Onana, ugarte, hjumland and de jong are good mentions
Palhinha would be my first choice. Højbjerg could be a more realistic and cheaper option.
our midfield has been that open specifically because one of varane or martinez have been unavailable almost this entire season. with them in the side, we can play a high line which vastly reduces the amount of space between the midfield and the defense, so i would say a new CB (or 2) should be the biggest priority
@@officerfriendly3245 hojberg is 29 along with palhinha ineos made it clear they want a youthful side
@ArthurMathebula-cb2dp We don't have unlimited funds, and quality youth is expensive. And experience is required.
No, i think my number number priority is not sales, it is recruitment of sporting director (Dan ashworth) so as he can take part in decision making regarding sales and player recruitment
Very true but its Newcastle delaying it by asking for a ridiculous amount of money, as much as we are in desperate need it's refreshing INEOS arnt getting bullied into overpaying. Let's hope they can find some middle ground.
I think a sporting director will save us if he isn't listened to coz of recent when a player is spoted it just ends there in United like Alvares Halland and many other players that have turned out stars
1. Early signings
2. Right centerback that can play the ball
3. Midfielder
4. Winger
5.backup striker
6. Left back
LB and RW are two positions that we need to sign a player that we feel is ready to start 60-70% of the matches next season. We don't need to sign a starter for the CF position, so that would sort the piriority order for me. But we also need to sign a backup LCB. So maybe we sign someone that can play both LCB and LB. That makes a lot of sense if there's no indication that Martinez will have recurring injury problems, and also if Shaw is predicted to stay fit for once. If there is a big chance Shaw is gonna miss a lot again, it makes more sense to get a specialised LB...
It’s difficult because the Glazers thru Woodward/Arnold & Murtaugh have left such a mess of a dysfunctional squad but my priorities would be;
(All outgoings would be Sell/end contract of/loan WITH obligation to buy…)
Varane, Martial, Heaton & Evans all leave on frees & Amraabat finishes his loan.
*_Priority 1;_*
Find new clubs for Casemiro, Eriksen, Van der Beek, Lindelof, Greenwood, Sancho
I’d also let Rash-ford & Antony go if big(ish if Antony) bids come in.
That leaves priorities in 2 x CB 2 x CM & Stk & Rt Wing
Kambwala takes 1 CB
Mount, Hannibal & Gore take 1 CM between them
Amad covers Bruno + Rt wing
If all sales go thru that means we have a joint top *_Priority 2_* of buying 1 CB, 1 CM, 1 St
Rt wing becomes *_Priority 3_*
Further buys then becomes reliant on Sales;
• If Rashfords sold We’ll need a Lt Winger
• If Antony sold we’ll need more cover
• If AWB is sold we’ll need a better Rt.Back
• If Malacia or Shaw are sold we’ll need a Lt.Back otherwise Amass gets his chance to cover
That means like you’ve said there’s gonna be no big name high price tag buys at all. We have to be much better and cleverer in the market.
Personally I’d like to see us bring in Tosin AND Tobido and then send Kambwala to NICE to further develop his game for a year to return once Maguires contract expires next season. These sort of strategic plans need to be the priority more than even buying/selling!
If we have sufficient cover to allow it I really like your idea for the development of Kambwala
@@teresacorcoran6554 yeah I think ineos & co really need to use that multi club model & loan system to start developing our youth players. Failed loans should be considered a failure for the football director & club. We need proper development plans being presented to our players. Remember Angel Gomes leaving because he said we had no real plan for him. And Bellingham said Dortmunds presentation of his development plan was what swung him. We are so bad getting developmental loans for our players. We should have at least 2 or 3 players every year that are either ready to supplement the squad or primed to be sold to improve our FFP!
LB - Dorgu
CB - Todibo
DM - Fofana
RW - Olise
ST - Guirassy
Guirassy is a great and a reasonably possible shout
@@chaitanyabahl3623 17M euros I think his release clause.
Who's Dorgu mate? The rest are very good shouts
No.
@@trickleteeth3425 he plays for lecce In Italy. He’s 19 years old. Denmark under 21 international. First season break through. 27 games In the seria a and scored 2 goals. In all competitions 29 games.
1.Sales are Important as to raise more money to buy the players of the right profile:
2. RCB like Todibo
3. CDM to pair with Mainoo like Onana, Neves, and maybe someone like Archie Gray
4. LCB for Martinez backup best option would be Lucumi
5. LB which isn't as necessary as we have Amass coming through, and Alvaro Fernandez coming back from loan in which we can send Malacia out on loan due to uncertainty
6. Backup ST which isn't as necessary due to Wheatley coming through, but we can sign an experienced striker like Guriassy for 17m (in his release clause)
7. Creative Wingers to service Hojlund isn't as important due to Amad Diallo being impactful and also a creative winger himself, but it would be nice for rotation and not overusing players
8. Another Cm as backup to protect mainoo from injury
1. Early Sales - That's a must! Without cash in, there won't be any decent CB, DM, LB or LAM incoming.
2. CB's (I would even buy 2 with all the injuries last season), DM, LB - Complete must.
3. Some big changes in the coaching/med staff (those more than 60 separate injuries can't be real)
1. Clear shop (not as drastically as some think; Casemiro, Martial, Varane, Pellistri, Fernandez, Antony, Sancho, Evans)
2. Promote youth (Gore, Amass, Oydele)
3. Starting RCB ball player
4. Ball winning CDM (Amrabat)
5. Experiment CF
6. Starting LB
I was hoping Fernandez got his chance this season, but that’s already gone; Gore is such a talented kid, would like to see him get his chance to start making a claim as Mainoo’s Partner
Cdm is 100% the most important we have missed a quality cdm for last 15 years it would stop 1/3 the goals against for sure and as the play will be stopped further up the field it would also help with attacking numbers too
The problems are too many and too vital for the team's overall rebuild so ranking them is always going to be challenging. But anyways, you're spot on as always, salute mate✌🏾🔥🤝🏾
Guirassy or ivan toney for the striker. Youssuf fofana in midfield to complement bruno & mainoo. Ait nouri or kadioglu for left back. Todibo & brainthwhite in centre back. Jeremy frimpong for right back alongside sales of some players.
When building a team, you always start from the back. And our main problems this season were in defence. So for me the priority of priorities is to fix the back 4. I agree with Sam, first signing must be a RCB to play alongside Martinez. Kambwala can be backup RCB. Maguire as Licha's backup.
Second priority is LB. Shaw has become too fragile now, and Malacia will need time and more development to comeback in the first team. So we need a solid LB capable of filling the fullback role.
3. CDM. We need a solid CDM who will stop counters and has excellent passing accuracy to link up with mainoo and Bruno. I think they will keep Casemiro for another year and I would agree with that decision. Yes I know he was awful this season, but I will attribute it to his injury issues. Last 2 games he's been quite good. So I think he'll make a good backup CDM.
4. Backup striker because Hojlund cannot realistically play 90 mins every single game.
We need these 4 positions filled this summer. These are the key areas where we've been failing. I don't think we need a RW right now. Amad and Antony are good enough (for now)
LW as well is ok for now with Garna and Rashford.
For me, in this order of priority:
1) DM
2) RCB
3) ST
4) LB
5) CM
Anything else is just pure “bonus”.
I'd put the creative winger 3rd. Despite our injury crisis, we're the 5th best defence in the league (by goals conceded)- not great, but considering our defensive lineup towards the end was Casemiro, Johny Evans and several rolls of cellotape, not too bad either. Meanwhile, our total goals scored is less than Arsenal and Man City's goal difference. That is embarrassing.
We need alot of players this summer.. so ineos has a massive job ahead of them. I would even say each of the positions you mentioned would need two players each, first team and backups that are good enough to start
We can’t do all of that in one window, we are very close to ffp limits and Chelsea done what we want to do, get rid of a lot of players and get younger players and now they are struggling. Don’t forgot about squad cohesion which would get screwed over. Realistically 5 signing would be a very solid window. 2 CBs, LB, CDM and a winger
Sales shud be nearly 200 plus the 100 we have supposed net spend 300 to buy
Rashford, sancho, greenwood, Antony, casimero, wan bissaka
Ins
Cdm - neves or fofanna
CB todibo or Silva (depends on neves)
Olise and williams to transform the wide play
Back up striker with left
Bring through amas
CB, LB, DM, RW ST
CB- Todibo £35 million
LB- Theo hernandez 52 million
DM- Onana £60 million
RW- Olise £58 million
St- Guirassy £17.5 million
This is what the club must spend on first team then after the money made through sales must reinforce backup
@@ArthurMathebula-cb2dp onanas trash, and we dont need olise. Theo hernandez? Its not fifa
@@ArthurMathebula-cb2dp onana is not good for the level we want
@RJG5 Onana is not trash he is wanted by real madrid as well incase modric and kroos leave in the summer this shows you don't know ball theo Hernandez is an amazing full back with great technical ability but his season has been affected by injuries which has been the case for frenkie de jong as well we can use this argument to get the players cheaper in negotiating don't believe anything the media says man united can and will spend over £200 million pounds before sales just look at arsenal
@@ArthurMathebula-cb2dp I done hear
Those 6 are all important and we need to achieve all 6 at minimum, but ETH future needs to be resolved before we can achieve any others
Totally agree, in that order of priority too! We could survive next season and come 4th without a second striker if we hit all those other positions, so I'd leave backup striker as the last priority.
Facts! Dumfries, Todibo, Pahlinha, Barrella, Olise. We sign those players and we definitely compete next season
No we won't. Who the hell plays in place of Hojlund? Rashford has shown he's very ineffective upfront
@michael43567 it's not ideal but with decent service Hojlund can bang in 30 odd goals. And Bruno as a false 9 has been working quite well occasionally, with Wheatly from the academy coming in if Hojlund is injured. I'd prioritise defence and midfield over everything.
@adventurefilmclub2549 I agree defence & midfield should be prioritised, but a backup striker is needed
1: Todibo, Tosin and Olise
We need to actually secure these three BEFORE the Euros to secure key signings EARLY. Two CBs signings are vital and Olise would be perfect as a new RW (supply Hojlund!).
The signing of Olise would be subject to Marcus Rashford leaving. If that is the case then we need to act on Olise quickly. Looking at Doku/Grealish’s numbers last season then it wouldn’t surprise me if City go in for him.
2: Free up finances:
Release, sell to get in sales and lessen the wage bill. We have some frees leaving but selling Sancho, Casemiro, Greenwood, Van der Beek should be prioritised.
3: CDM/CM:
This is vital but shouldn’t be rushed. Do we go for a more expensive CDM (Kimmich) or a younger, more long-term option? The important thing is that we get someone with the right mentality as well as be a compliment to Mainoo.
4: Full back assessment:
Shaw/Malacia’s injuries have affected our whole play. No attacking left full back. Is Malacia a viable replacement? We need a new LB who can compete for that left side and provide overlapping support as well as solid defending. Is Amass ready or do we sign someone until he is? That needs a decision.
As for Dalot, he needs a backup/someone to challenge for his position. Question marks over AWBs ability to match the standard needed means he will probably be leaving this/next summer so a new right back would also be needed (from the youth team or signed in)
5: New striker
Despite the emergence of Wheatley as possible backup to Hojlund (who did fantastically in his first season basically alone), we need an experience head to help these guys. A 30/30+ year old player with a supportive personality but also ideally a goal scorer. Ben Yedder and Danny Welbeck are free signings or someone like Callum Wilson (though hard to buy from Newcastle now!) but someone like him to play as second striker/backup to Hojlund with Wheatley getting some minutes during the season.
6: Goalkeepers:
If Bayindir leaves as he needs game time or Heston doesn’t stay on then a third goalkeeper is needed.
Just my thoughts anyway 🙂
Awesome video 💯
Which software do you use for editing your videos ??
I completely agree with you. I don’t care about the order as long as all of these are done.
Several players should leave especially Erikson, Amrabat, Sancho, & Greenwood. Question marks over others who could go if big enough offers come in (McTominay etc) but we need to sort the priorities ruthlessly.
Thank god ur aren't in charge, most idiot comment even made. We need back center MD Amrabat is way better
1. Selling Marcus Rashford
1. Right CB(2) - Todibo, Branthwaite
2. DM - J. Neves
3. RWF - Olise or N. Williams
4. CF - B. Sesko
5. LB - Gutierrez from Girona
6. RB - Frimpong...
These are my list of players for those positions needed 🔥🔥🔥
Sam, I disagree with you. A central defender is very important and needed BUT the most important signing United MUST make is getting in a proper natural defensive midfielder! Casemiro is most likely leaving, Sofyan Amrabat is leaving too so that leaves United without a good, recognized defensive midfielder. Kobbie Mainoo can play as a defensive midfielder but he looks like a player with the skill-set better suited as a box to box midfielder (an 8). One of the major reasons why United concedes so many shots is because the midfield is just too porous... it's like a basket that can't retain water! Sam, when you mention the word "central midfielder" I wonder what you meant specifically because their are 3 types of midfielders:
* defensive midfielders
* box to box midfielders
* attacking midfielders
What United needs the most is one or probably two defensive midfielders. Solve that problem and almost 40% of the teams weakness is sorted.
Yes, a central defender, left back, striker and right winger is needed BUT signing a defensive midfielder is very necessary. Let's not forget also that Erikson may very likely leave so another box to box midfielder (an 8) who can also play as a 6 will be needed for proper rotation and incase of injury cases.🙂
1. New Manager
2. New Medical Staff
3. Sell Casmeiro/ Lindelof/ Mctominay/Greenwood/ Antony/ Malacia/Eriksen/ DVB
4. Sign RCB
5. Sign LCB
6. Sign CDM
7. Sign LB
8. Sign CAM (backup for bruno)
9. Sign Striker (backup for Hojlund)
10. Sign Backup CDM (or else keep Amrabat)
Sell rashford and Sancho also
And keep Mc tominay he is your future captain
Your order is the right priority. If one comes in before rhe other fine but those defensive positions before thr attackers are crucial, hopefully we can have talks of 2 before June 14th
Assuming not in Europe next season, we have much fewer games, meaning we need less backup signings like another left back or back up striker. What we need is a proven elite young centre back and defensive midfielder that goes in top starting eleven without question. Cherry on top is olise or elite right wing and a proven striker.
Rashford, Sancho, Greenwood - Around 100 million
Casemiro, Eriksen,Lindelof - Around 60 million
Brandon Williams - 10 million
Alvaro Fernandez - 7 million
Mejbri - 15 million
Pellistri - 10 million
Amrabat should not be signed
Olise + Todibo + Onana+ 1 more centre back+ 1 more midfielder+ 1 left back looking at Shaw and Malacia's fitness
Wheatley to regularly come of from bench as Hojlunds backup
I doubt if you have watch much games of the players you mention that United has to get. Olise is decent but is he world class ? thats what United needs.
Todibo is a ball playing defender so I get why we could go for him but an alternative Braintwait or something from Everton is also english.
Onana is not a ball playing defensive midfielder and thats what we need for the buildup play so I would go for that guy from Benfica.
Left back and left center back those positions we need new players, we need someone to compete with Martinez and we need a replacement for Shaw and get rid of Malacia.
Grimaldo would have been a great option but maybe we should go for Dimarco or Theo Hernandez and from those 2 I prefer Dimarco.
backup striker we should try to go for Boniface before he gets to expensive.
Finally I saw someone who wanted to sell rashford, I agree 1000% with you
You can get more than £100m selling Rashford, Greenwood and Sancho
Sancho £35-40m
Greenwood £30-35m
Rashford £50-60m
Anything less is robbery and two of them are homegrown talent and 100% profit.
This will be an exercise in improving our sales approach and your idea of selling the three for £100m is the first fail of the window.
@@LeeTurnock-zy2dg hopefully 🙌🤞
I'd Like to throw a few names out besides players we have heard linked most with the club namely Antonee Robinson at left back, Pierre-Emile Hojberg at CM and Maxence Lacriox or Tapsoba for RCB. I dont think RW is that much of a priority but if we do go there it would be nice to see Matias Soule considered. For ST i would like to see someone experienced and probably premier league proven although its difficult to think who that may be right now
Sales Todibo, Marc Guehi, Onana, Benjamin Sesko, Olisé, would love to get Eze in from his QPR days….
You can't have two right footed center backs we need a right footed and left footed
@@ArthurMathebula-cb2dp I just assumed Maguire and Lindelof would be moving on also 🤷🏾♂️
Our first priority:
Reduce injuries.
1) take young players on the pre season tour so we can see them playing
2) manage carefully playing time for the regular players in pre season to reduce injuries
3) look at the training methods… is there something going on there?
Sell players on inflated contracts who are not playing well
Buy players for normal wages and transfer fees
Keep giving the young players a chance
Don’t buy players in positions we already have.. buy
Look at the train
I was thinking two CBs instead of one, a starter and then a Martinez under study.
CDM to partner Mainoo is a must,
That left back is a serious need because both Rashford and Garnacho haven't performed well when playing from that left because of no support, but instead of buying why not try Alvaro Fernandez one more time and decide winter transfer
Man United should Jaou Neves,Ivan Tony,Michael Olive, and Todibo
A left back i have always liked is Gaya from Valencia. Late 20s now and cause its Valencia u could probably snap up for 20m. Only reason he isn't as recognised is cause of Jordi Alba at LB for Spain
Imo our top priorities in the summer should be CB, CDM & ST but we need more depth elsewhere like RW & LB. Also we need to sell well & sell quickly. Players like Casemiro, Sancho, Greenwood, Eriksen, Lindelof, McTominay, Donny, Maguire we can raise some serious money this summer. Also for depth we need to look at potential free signings like Rabiot & Tosin Adarabioyo
What I think from the last season or the season previous to that is
1. A primary striker who plays along with Hojlund. An academic Striker who can be a backup for the club future. United goal difference has been horrible.
2. We need two proper ball crossers, one from right is a must and from left hope rashford can improve. Basically Rashford, Greenwood, Amad & Garnacho are looking for goals all the time rather than providing ball for the striker to finish. That has to change.
3. Central Defender
4. United seriously need a mid-field ball carrier, who can dribble and find space between players to play that final pass.
5. Passing, shooting and dribbling training should be improved a lot. Garnacho's passing and ball control is horrible.
Point to note: i would go for versatile players profile.....left CB who can play LB, right CB who can play RB smoothly not like Lindelof does....... DMF who can play as CB not as Casemiro does..... a Wide player who sees assisting as scoring, not one who always go for goal cant make a pass.......
1. Sales not just sales of fridge players more so those underperforming.
2. 2CB
3. DMF
4. AMF( you would agree with me with Bruno injured we are doomed)(Statement player Joao Neves)
5. Wide player.(Statement player Olise)
6. Attacker
Priory transfers
(1) Bring back Greenwood
(2) Selling Lindelof Maguire Williams Donny Hannibal Sancho Rashford releasing Evans Erikson Martial
(3) Signing Two centre backs and holding midfielder
(4) Academy players promoted to first team Ogunneye Amass J. Jackson Fletcher Scanlon Wheatley Lacey Gore
Will be interesting to see what ineos and Jim ratcliffe prioritise and see how much they're going to sell. Medical staff should be up there. Great video Sam
1st-early sales
2nd-right center back
3rd-center mid
4th-creative winger
5th-Left back
6th-Back up striker
RCB- todibo
Lcb- hermoso(free) backup , can also play lb
Mid- neves, fofana
St- dobvyk
I mostly agree with the list, I would only change around LB and Striker in priority. Since we have options for LB without being forced onto the transfer market.
Other than that, I'd add finding a LCB and looking for bargains as the next priorities.
Priorities
1) get Dan Ashworth asap
2) complete the audit to work out what went wrong this season and why.
3) if we are keeping ten hag, demote him to being just the head coach.
4) between ashworth and wilcox, identify our style and instruct ten hag how to implement it.
5) replace medical team
6) get rid of greenwood, sancho, casemiro, eriksen, antony, lindelof awb asap
7) sign a striker, 2 centre backs, right back, left back and right winger.
8) sign amrabat.
9) renovate carrington
10) fix the roof
I agree on the order. As backup striker we should sign a 30+ who's still got it, or try to get him on loan. We won't have much to spend after CB, DM, LB and RW.
I believe a central defensive midfielder is the heart of a team and can really influence the gameplay a lot, so for me, in any open heart surgery rebuild, a CDM must be the top priority.
Midfielder, striker, left back 👍
Well done city , up there with some of the most unbelievable sporting wins ever 4 in a row 😮. Right up there with lance armstrongs 7 Tour de France’s 😂
😂😂😂😂
We need.
RW: Olise
CB: Branthwaite and Todibo
LB: Unknown maybe Gutierrez from Girona
Midfielder: Jeao Neves (way to expensive) Rabiot he is free if he doesn't extend with Juventus otherwise Amadou Onana from Everton due to their FFP problems or Zubimendi is a good option.
ST: I really don't know
IMO decent players to look at are , onana I agreed with you there , olise yes , todibo yes I think he’s an amazing right sided CB , Depay may be up for debate due to his price but I’d love to see Watkins with us , cucurella could be a solid option for us at LB
I like to give Gore a chance too
When he came on pitch in the last season he played well in that few minutes
1. CB
2. CDM
3. Striker
4. Full back
5. Winger
Promote 5 players from the youth teams.
Thats 10 new players in the first team that we dont have currently.
Sales first agreed but then I think the back line has to be sorted 2 CB and a lb, then cm and if we can an attacker
Center-Back:
Piero Hincapié (Bayer Leverkusen): A young and promising center-back who has shown great potential in the Bundesliga.
Edmond Tapsoba (Bayer Leverkusen): Another solid defender who is reliable and offers a strong physical presence at a reasonable price.
Right-Back:
Tariq Lamptey (Brighton & Hove Albion): Known for his pace and attacking ability, Lamptey could be a great addition to United’s defense without a huge financial outlay.
Jeremie Frimpong (Bayer Leverkusen): As previously mentioned, he is an excellent option who is known for his offensive contributions.
Defensive Midfield:
Ibrahim Sangaré (PSV Eindhoven): A robust midfielder who excels in breaking up play and offers great value for money.
Edson Álvarez (Ajax): Known for his versatility and defensive skills, he could provide excellent cover and competition in midfield.
Striker:
Gonçalo Ramos (Benfica): A young forward who has been prolific in the Portuguese league and could be available for a reasonable fee.
Jonathan David (Lille): A versatile attacker who can play across the front line and has a good scoring record in Ligue 1.
Wingers:
Noa Lang (Club Brugge): A talented winger who has been impressive in the Belgian league and offers creativity and pace.
Ismaïla Sarr (Watford): Experienced in the Premier League and Championship, Sarr is known for his speed and dribbling ability.
I agree with you Sam 😊
Buy Nico Williams, Inaki Williams, Onana, and Adarabiyo. Use the remaining money on smart deals or for winter window.
Sell Rashford, Sancho, Greenwood, Casemiro, Antony, DVB and Pellistri. Let Martial, Varan, Eriksen and Evans leave.
Get Nico Williams as creative winger and Inaki Williams as back up striker.
Get Onana as CM for physicality, ball winning and play stretch. Use Amrabat and Onana, and Mainoo and Mount. Mount can also play on the wing.
Tobido is a must. Get Adarabiyo for free. Use Maguire and Lindelof as back up. Alvaro Fernandez to stay as back up LB. AWB is a must when we play against strong wingers.
Man, you are doing your homework every day, hopefully one day, you will be Jason Wilcox's assistant.
But still it's a pleasure watching your research on good players.
Contrary to popular belief… we neeeeeed Casemiro next season!
Will he have the motivation and legs for it though? This season proves he doesn't, and with those wages. I'd rather sign Amrabat tbh.
Couldn't agree more on sales being first priority. It seems we might have to sign a RCB and a LCB because Martinez still needs to prove whether we can rely on him to stay fit.
100% agree with early sales. Too many rotten players & probably staff as well? Physio, fitness coach, scout, etc.
we missed left back for 80-90% of the season, and wan bissaka, dalot are overwork at that position, even you are great player if you injured you cannot help the team. So my personal list:
Early sales,
LB,
CB,
World class midfielder,
Main striker
Neco Williams is a big upgrade to Rashford in terms of technical ability but can't rely on him for 30 goals Rashford scored Last season so alongside Hojlund and Garnacho I would love a left footer like Olise
I would agree with early sales, it is better for club and player if the player moves on, goodbye and good luck ( unless facing us )
Sales are very important and besides that I think
1. RCB Todibo
2. CDM I really like Wieffer and I think he is much cheaper than Onana and Neves
3. LB I think Calafiori is the best he is like Licha and also he can play as LCB too so I really love to buy him
4. RW Olise and if we manage to sell Rashford for some good money maybe buy Nico too
I like to give Wheatley more time but if we can buy another one or two players I want Sesko and LCB Hincapie from Leverkusen He is so underrated and I think he is not really expensive
Bradley Locko, one to watch as well. Skilled LB.
Considering the injuries in central defence last year I think two centre backs are a must.
My Top 3 Priorities:
1. Fire Whole Medical Staff.
2. Sell the players as much as possible (Rashford is a Must Sell)
3. Don't sign a player of 30 or 30+ age and Don't give anyone the salary of more than 180-200K per week.
1. Right CB
2. Defensive midfielder
3. Left CB(capable of playing left back)
5. Roaming playmaker (backup to mainoo)
6. left-footed winger(capable of playing striker)
7. Left-sided winger (capable of playing striker)
Let me explain my though process:
General point: The ingoings will always be dependent on the outgoings. This united squads MAIN failings is having too many specialist players (who then don't deliver) who lock the coach to a certain play style. Defence and capability to play from the back, with a midfield that can progress ball and track runners are priority. Creativity is a secondary priority, but also important.
I have made some assumptions to base the above list on:
- Defenders assumptions #1.) One of Maguire, Lindelof, Evans will be sold/relesased.
- Defenders assumptions #2.) Defenders across the line must be capable of playing at least 2 different positions. The right centre back should be capable of also playing right back. The left centre back should be capable of playing left back. The right back should be capable of playing left back or defensive midfielder etc.
Midfilders asssumptions #1.) Both Eriksen and/or casemiro will be sold. The sooner we se casemiro leave the PL, the better. Eriksen cannot play more than 30 minutes of high intesity football. Cant have weaknesses like that in the centre of the pitch. again.
Midfielrs assumptions #2.) In a 4-man defence, McTominay is only suited to playing as a #10, not #8 or #6. Mount doesn't look much better suited honestly, but im still waiting to see what he can do. Their ability to receive ball from deep under pressure is just not good enough.
Striker assumptions: striker is the DEAD last priority atm. I would honestly, rather get a new left-sided winger than a striker that is capable of also playing striker. The striker position is too specialised and Höjlund is looking SOO good, despite playing with garnacho as the most creative forward the squad today hopefully amad will change that next season). No striker will score goals with the lack of service in this team. this squad has waay too many holes that need fixing elsewhere. Give me a trossard-lite who can play across the forward positions and provide real competition to garnacho, Rashford, Höjlund, Amad, etc (anthony sure as hell isnt).
That whole defence needs a rebuild first . My priorities are
- 2 or maybe 3 CBs
- a full back
- 8 and 6
If Rashford is sold then go for Olise or get Xavi Simons on loan
Don't waste money on signing a backup striker this summer get someone on loan.
Defence must be the priority.
1. Right CB (2)
2. DM
3. RWF
4. CF
5. LB
6. RB
You spoke my mind we need two center backs
After signing on these positions, then sell Antony, Bissaka, Maguire, McTominay, Lindelof and Casemiro
Then, promote some of the young stars in the youth team. Midfield to be precise
@@ifeanyimichael4195 we still owe ajax money for antony we need more from his sale so loan then sell makes sense
RCB, CDM and ST. In a perfect world should also include backups (RB, CB, CDM, CAM and ST). Either from the Academy or Young (under 22 years old) Transfers.
In my opinion United need a LCB, RCB, 2 CDMs, 1 CM, a Backup Striker and preferably a RW and a LB.
A Defender : Todibo
A Midfielder : Onana
A Forward : Olise
Need to add to the coaching staff as well. Pep has so many coaches.
Besides RCB, it’s tough to see clearly which other position we need to take this team forward with ETH
We need a new identity, with a new identity you can see Rashy, casa, maguire, Scot and maybe half of squad gone, in my opinion everyone in that team looks for vertical football, quick counter, and that’s why we have less possession, and create less technically
I can't quite believe that having seen us go a whole season without a left back and knowing Shaw's injury record that anyone can't think left back isn't number 1 priority. Rashford got 30 last season with a left back as support and was muck this, it's not the only factor but even if Rashford goes it would massively help Garnacho having someone overlapping.
Sam we need to build from the back first 2 CB's and a LB then mid field, a winger that will feed Rasmus and lastly a backup striker.
1. Contact Benfica and agree joint deal for Antonio Silva and Joao Neves.
2. SELL all of Rashford, Greenwood, Casemerio, Anthony, Sancho, Linderloff, Maguire, Eriksen. At a minimum.
3. Calculate FFP and see what can be spent on new left back (depending on medical results for Malacia) and striker.
4. If big go big for Ivan Toney or Luca Netz. If cash tight sign Gabriel Barbosa and Juan Miranda on a free and also Tosin.
Greenwood & Rashford to stay due to financial pressures. Sancho depends on ETH stay.
Outs are: Amrabat, Casameiro, Martial, Antony, Lindelhoff & Eriksen.
Ins: 4 x best Academy prospects minimum + Silva & Neves from Benfica.
Agree they need to get the players that they know are not going to be used next season sold or released at start of window ASAP so they know what budget it for rest of summer window. CB is key with Varane leaving!
P1 - Sack ETH and bring in Pep who has announced he is leaving or Zidane who is free or Klopp also free or alike
P2 - Give the coach full authority to sale and buy pkayers or let him decide whom to sale and buy and just execute the sales and buy as per his decision/plan
P3 - Give him proper coaching staff and physios
Also, I seriously doubt on the capabilities of physios or dietery systems or training methodologies of ManU as most of the players are always injured and sidelined.
What is Zidane gonna do with an out of balance team and this many injuries?
RW is a place we have always struggled with the only player we've had in recent times is mason, and if we can't move him on we should test the waters with trying to reintergrate him. He's easily one of the best players on his day and has so much potential been amazing in Spain, but obviously theres the off the field issue
I know it's controversial but yeah
Agree entirely, and it must happen quickly
cant believe a year has passed so fast, i remembered this time last year united were enquiring mason mount, and chelsea being a hard ass about it. united shouldve bought cole palmer instead haha
Yes...and I was saying plz don't buy him lol
Early outgoings, early incomings, md revamp, CD revamp and Manager desicion.
No.1 priority should be getting a Sporting Director (Ashworth) so that he can make swift decisions in the transfer.
2nd is get a quality medical staff because United has the worst injury record for this disastrous season.
3rd is sales, get rid of the Deadwood players in order to convert the sales and wages into tangible funds to boost the transfer budget
4th is a Quality Right CB
5th- Quality Central Midfielder to replace Casemiro
6th- Quality Striker to ease the pressure on Hojlund
7th - Quality Right Winger that is very cunning and that gives defenders headache to replace Antony.
8th- Get a Quality LB to replace Luke Shaw
Get this done and we'll have a smooth successful summer transfer window 👍🏾
3 players to go for Antonio silva from benfica, joao neves, Andre from fluminese and Florian Wirtz. A left sided central defender is also needed but can't say a final name.
Here, yes i may sound delusional, but:
Instead of spending big on Joao Neves / De Jong, we can sign both Youssuf Fofana(DMF) and Khepren Thuram(CMF-DMF) for lesser money or sign one of them and get Ndidi (on a free) as backup or something.
We can get Orkun Kokcu (Benfica) or someone of his attributes as Eriksen replacement, but he can play with Bruno or even in his absence. Three very good players for around the price we will pay for Joao Neves.
Sell players like Maguire, Varane, AWB, Malacia (maybe on loan), Lindelof, Mctominay, Eriksen, Ambrabat (loan end), Martial, Sancho (probably).
Buy another striker (Guirassy is cheap and quality), a Left Back (Dorgu from Lecce) and develop Amass(LB), buy Olis or Nico Williams, Tosin (CB on a free), Todibo or Lenny Yoro, develop Kambwala as the 4th defender. And buy Vanderson or Hendrichs
to compete with Dalot.
Buy Jason Steele from Brighton (33 and cheap) as a backup to Onana. We can switch GKs just like Brighton, Liverpool and City do, instead of playing Onana the whole season.
€100-120m for 3 very good guys in midfield (lesser if we get Ndidi on free).
A striker, a LB, a RWF, two defenders for around €120-125m.
A RB, a backup GK for around €30-35m.
9 players for €250-270m.
We can sell 6-7 players for around €100m.
€160-170m net spent won't be a bad business to sort out a team completely.
I agree to the priorities. We need to sell Antony and Sancho before buying an established RW. Most likely not in Europe next year so schedule will be easier that means we can keep a smaller and fitter squad. We better not give ETH an extension without seeing progress on the pitch. Get rid of the deadwood and no more excuses!
Tosin, Ross Buckley,Todibo, Amadou Onana, Ryan Giles, maybe Meslier as a 2nd GK
And sell as many dead weight as we can
Obviously the signings will be prioritised in relation with the sales. For me #1 is another striker. Right centerback is #2 and then a holding midfielder.
Sell Martial, VDB, Lindelof, Greenwood and Sancho. First priority signing - DM then CB, ST, RW and LB. Nevertheless, all positions you’ve said are spot on
Bang on
Hancko from Feyenoord could be a good signing as cover for both Martinez at Left Centre-Back and Shaw at Left-Back.
Also, Maatsen supposedly has some type of clause that would give him a reasonable price tag.
Also, Tosin from Fulham is a Free Agent would be decent cover for Martinez.
Hancko definitely is not a United player. Let’s not do that.
@@Alexander711 I know, he plays for Feyenoord.
Good morning sir im with you with 6 position we need to make quick changes
