Why The Sabbath Is Important

Taking a Sabbath day of rest is like a reset button that restores our bodies, restarts our minds and reminds us of God's promises.
Not to mention it's one of the ten commands God gave us!

One of my life goes is to see the Protestant Church come back to a 7th day Sabbath... I mean really I don't think it would be that difficult for a preacher to schedule a sermon on a Saturday.

Most churches agree with Sunday because that’s the day Jesus resurrected. Yeah in Jewish history the sabbath was Saturday so I see why people like to honor the history of it.

JESUS CHRIST IS THE SABBATH.
Only in HIM and thru HIM will you have a day ( any day) of rest.
[28] Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. [29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. [30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. "
A weekly day is just a weekly day unless you are surrendered unto HIM.

I get your point but it does explicitly say in exodus 20:8 and genesis 2:2-3 and other places that the 7th day is his sabbath day. If you are not holy and keeping his commandments then that sabbath day means nothing as we can see in hebrews 4:1-5
