  • I recently got a P1726 DTC in my Vehicle Dynamics module for the rear Air Suspension. This video covers the solution for it in my situation.
*forgot to mention in the video that I disabled the Air Suspension in the setup menu while I was working on it.

I just installed the Dorman version of this on my 2012 navigator and that's a weird connection they have on yours. Mine had the same type as the OEM version. Hopefully it's not something that shortens the life of it.
    Thanks for the video

I did have to warranty my compressor last winter but it was during some nasty freezing rain. I wanted to drive my Expedition to work as it was the most equipped for that but I didn't consider the lines being frozen. About 20min of it running and warming up and I looked out and realized it was just sitting on the rear tires and the compressor was toast. I think it just fried from trying to fill frozen bags or something. A few days later I swapped it out when the ice thawed, ran the recalibration and its been fine since

@jasonbodi503 sounds like you may have just had a lemon for a compressor. Good to hear it's working well now 👌
That air suspension is so nice to Have :)

Can you show the other fuse/relay on the fuse box besides the big grey one in the corner. My air suspension just went out.

I replaced the same thing about 2 weeks ago on my 2010 expy, although the rear suspension is fixed I now have a battery drain issue. Was wondering if you encountered the same thing.

    What scope are you using

Its some sort of Snap on one. It was a high end one back when my dad bought it for our old family repair shop. When it closed my brother and I now share all the tools. I don't recall the exact model but it's got a full cabinet with it. Super fancy luckily. It's saved my bacon several times

So, in short, this isn’t a quick practical fix for the novice.

@YoungWilliamO for sure. You've got to have a decent OBD2 scanner that can run functional tests and interact with the computer, not just a read only code scanner. The physical work isn't hard at all but you have to have some basic knowledge of the scanner system for sure. I have no formal training on either air suspension systems or OBD2 scanners, only what I've learned and absorbed messing with my own cars and working for/will my dad for a few years
